Turkey will find it hard to join EU. Freedom of speech is now not there. Has Erdogan asked himself what led to the coup attempt? It cannot be a superb governance for sure. You can only achieve so much populist stuff at home antagonising the West. |
railey:Lol World nor dey end anything. It might when some crazy leader of a country armed with WMD mistakenly sets off nuclear bomb and retaliation follows. And spiral out of control. Until then mankind is stuck here. |
ArcFresky:People fear what they do not know. Basically fear is due to ignorance. A lady from South East once told me she was afraid of Benin. Yet her aunt married a Benin man and raised successful children. Over many decades living in Benin. Asked why her fear, it was the usual "they say Benin has many witches". Funny enough most people selling spare parts, shoes, clothes, electronics and others all over Benin are Igbo people. Evans the kidnapper even did kidnapping massively in Benin while people were blaming Benin people for it. As much as they fear Benin, surprising that Okija ritual forests are not in Benin nor are the countless headless bodies commonly found in Ogun & Lagos related to Benin. Like one white American woman who researched Benin history/culture once said in a conference in America that other Nigerians being afraid of Benin people has advantages. In her view, it means other Nigerians would not mess with Benin people anyhow. ![]() As a kid, we were told that once you cross Niger Bridge into the East, you will end up in a pot of soup. We have gone to marry several Igbo women in Igboland since yet we never ended up in a pot of soup. ![]() Also that Igbo can do anything for money. BUT we all see clearly today that people from every tribe/region are doing just about anything for money. Still we hold on to cliches. Yorubas we learned always did juju/okpor for everything. To get promotion at work, seduce a woman, prevent woman committing adultery (magun), for protection, to get rid of an enemy, etc. Even if they are Christians or Muslims officially. People like me grew up to realise that there are enough prejudices to go round. Others grew up & still stuck with those prejudices. |
Abbeyme:You know 9ja elite and wanting to belong. They always seek confirmation from colonial masters to feel good about themselves. They will even fork out huge sums to lobby their way there. Most things are for sale these days. In 2015, Bubu spent more time addressing Chatham House than addressing his Nigerian electorate. |
Hoduwahishape:The easiest way to know reta.rded people is when they cannot put their points across without insults. They lack exposure, had a poor upbringing and refused to learn social etiquette missed in childhood. Typically a poor product (let-my-people-go) of the failed Nigerian education system. As a person educated in several Western languages, forget trying to impress me with just one of them. Because you do not even know the philology of the English words you use daily. While you are busy trying to prove grammar, I am busy rubbing shoulders with the owners of the language. Many of them winning international prizes in science. Including some busy finding a better treatment for your dementia. And none of them ever claims to know English language better. Oxbridge education notwithstanding. Keep doing Patrick Obahiagbon there. Keep doing bad belle. Such people always end up as failures. Not only Lamborghini, your friend turned it into Boeing 747. |
Hmmmm |
Lol. Good for him. After his jail term we shall know if he is genuinely remorseful. By not re-offending. |
OK o. |
Hoduwahishape:Ogbeni, you sabi the procedure o. Abeg show us the ofada rice you don use replica kit change to American long grain. Or the Chinese motorbike you don " replicate" to Japanese one. While we can do better as a continent, please commend individual efforts. |
Reflective jacket. If you need to abandon car and go seek for help. |
RIP |
9ja's problem has tey. Just imagine the types of clowns that held the country hostage while Singapore, Malaysia, Emirates and others were flying ahead. |
I agree with him. IPOB succeeding could mean end of Nigeria. Meaning oil junkies up North cannot survive without oil. Oil money is far more important than kidnapped Chibok girls, tens of thousands killed & billions lost through atrocities of Boko Haram. He's just stating Northern priorities. |
And an internationally condemned number 3 terrorist group (herdsmen) stand free to continue killing nationwide. |
kizyalex10:Dude what she did is no biggie to them. A large number of ladies are at it already. Don't get caught is their eleventh commandment. A lot of celebs already know this. They just have baby mamas. Then "codedly" go do paternity test. Men mumu don do. Shikena. Just wait. Lagos State is beginning a standard forensic lab for criminal DNA, paternity tests and others. When men start discovering the high number of kids that do not belong to them, feminists will begin campaign to make paternity test without the woman's consent illegal. It is illegal in some countries already. See the case of former Ghanian international Odartey Lamptey. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Uyj0Ga5Vc |
And this thread never made front page. Lala, what makes this thread less worthy of FP than one little python someone killed his farm (bush that pythons are meant to be)? We the youth are now the problem of this country. We're not anymore ready to find solutions to problems that we and our future generations will inherit from the old cargoes. |
cool. |
Hehehehe. I see. Now that it is not Jonathan govt, it is now evacuation. No wonder General 'Press-up' Buratai got away with Dubai houses. Na just evacuation. A thief can break into your house and evacuate your money and property now. Corruption is now a refined surgical procedure. ![]() Make una continue. |
She should take heart. And do the extra year. Very hard but she can do it. |
damosade:Dude, in Chemistry, not all oxides are gases o. Unless you wanna make an exception for garri. ![]() There are several oxides of metal that are powders like ZnO, the stable oxides of copper, etc. Not only sulphates. All though I'd prefer garri as a "sulphate" being flaky. ![]() |
nedu2000:I tire o. I wonder what kind of milestone 78 is sef. But what exactly are we always celebrating in 9ja? Mediocrity?? |
kimbraa:Because he says what he saw that doesn't take side with the woman, it cannot add up, bah? What op wrote is nothing unusual. Women hold a man' s trousers, pull his dickus and blokos while shouting " you go kill me today". While the man is in pain fighting to get her off. Nothing new. Women's tongue can even hurt more than a blow. But the man is always to blame. Violence is bad. But nobody should start it first. Equal rights should go hand in hand with equal responsibilities. A man being stronger does not justify higher pay. A woman being weaker should not justify her beginning violence. |
Saintsammurai:So if your loved one was dying on Sunday, doctors should not treat him or her on Sunday. Or if armed robbers invaded your home on Sunday night, policemen should not respond if called. Now try to read Jesus' teaching about the Shepherd who lost his sheep on Sabbath. |
DanielsParker:The poster was not on about your spelling. He meant that the defenceless child was the most vulnerable. Maybe also the one she hoped to hurt and get away with it. As a baby cannot talk or identify the culprit. |
kalufelix:Abeg tell them o. But they will not listen. But see it these way. A very large number of Nigerian women end up dating/marrying a guy they are not actually in love with. Mostly for economic security. Some do so because they are under pressure to marry. Or just to escape wahala/agro/nagging/poverty at home. If the relationship or marriage is just "how-i-for-do?" type, the zeal to satisfy the man in bed will be minimal. Or becomes like a chore she does well only when money & material wealth are in good supply. Lose your wealth as a hubby and you are on your own. The woman could even be tempted to sleep with her true love who maybe has poorer life prospect in her estimation. In my experience, 9ja women are the least romantic I have seen. Certainly way below Ghanian, Benin Republic and many other African women. Among African women (Kenyans, Ugandans, SA and others), 9ja men are very popular. So there must be something 9ja men are doing right, despite all our weak sides. When women have very little else to offer, the focus becomes just honeypot. What is even special about honeypot? Do not let it be your only selling point. Because it is two a penny these days. If after all the shakara and all you offer is very appalling sex, the disappointment a man feels is enormous. That is the truth. Nobody really wants to have sex with a log of wood. Or one that shows no keenness, not ready to explore and has a list of sex taboos as long as third Mainland Bridge. ![]() Yes, even if a lady is like a porn star in bed, some men will still cheat. BUT far fewer would. As a woman earn your own money, however big or small. Live within your means. Do not be too dependent. Think of the future and discuss future investment and ways to progress with your man. You do not have to be married first even. Enlighten yourself and be intellectually stimulating. Learn to cook a bit. Do not nag too much. Give your guy good sex. Do all these and then you have the right to expect romance and more from your guy. |
Lol. See eyes. |
Hmmmmm. So Zim people now have "bombastic" magun. Seems 9ja is falling behind Kenya, Uganda & Zim in orisirisi stuff. ![]() |
Ishilove:My dear, one day Nigerian girls currently doing slay queens will benefit from all this hard work 9ja guys are putting in here. ![]() Because most will eventually come and marry home girls after collecting a foreign p. I hope their future 9ja wives will acknowledge their effort. E nor easy. They deserve much respect for their 'bravery". Because I cannot do it. ![]() |
Rip boy. |
cuedish:She's married to an American medical doctor. With a child even. |

Why Do You Think Most Men Still Keep Their Mistresses Even When They Sincerely Love Their Wives
