Just gather the meanest agbayas in the hood, smash the door to smithereens and rub a mixture of pepper & vinegar on the boy's d.ick & a.nus. That will complement the initial beating nicely.

That's more like it.

abitex577:
Going to church and been born into a christian home doesn't make one saved.
Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour, and living your life according to God's word in the Bible is what makes one saved.
Many in church confess Christ by words of their mouth but are far from God in their heart. When you have God's word's in your heart, you live by the word and everyone will see the fruit of your christianity.
.

My dear, you wonder what some people have been learning all these donkey years in church.

You would think an average Christian knows what you wrote above. But alas, no.

is a mock election for Pete Sake so 100% success shouldn't be expected. The test was successful here in lagos but failed in kano, inec will now have to work their _asses out to identify the cause of the card reader failure in Kano so that necessary corrections can be implemented.
There shouldn't be any cause for alarm because inec still have about 20 days to make their necessary corrections

Politics › Re: APC, PDP, Civil Society, INEC Disagreed Over Card Reader Performance In Kano by AreaFada2:
ITbomb:
65% of registered voters got their PVC, out of this 65%, 60% could successfully vote.

In simple terms out of 100 people wey register, 65 of them collect card, out of this 65 na only 35 wey the the machine (card reader) allow to vote.

That means say na 35 people out of 100 decide election results

That is a disaster. INEC is not ready for PVC and card readers
.
This your analysis is TOO difficult for most people. There's always massive Maths failure in WASCE.

People opening their buccal cavity to say 60% is a pass, good 3 weeks after February 14th.

Did Fulani people start doing Henna painting 3 weeks ago? Why was such not anticipated and corrected over past 4 years?

If care is not taken, we would be sleepwalking into great disaster.

Problems that break up countries usually begin small.

You know the answer. It will become "Jonathan & his Igbo co-horts witch-hunting SW people".

Evidence and what not will be totally overlooked by the mostly Lagos-based media.

Because they think of GEJ as clueless, they are totally blind to his political savvy. He knows the tribalistic terrain of 9ja.

He won't play into their hands so cheaply by prosecuting Tinubu.

Eleribu........What Did Umaru Dikko Do?....
.

(1) Umaru Dikko, as a street smart guy, always suspected Buhari as a coupist. He had reliable sources in the military too. He got Shagari to "exile" him to Jos as GOC. Far away from Ibadan or Lagos that normally make coups succeed or fail. Dikko almost ruined Buhari's coupist ambition.
In fact had Shagari fully followed Dikko's advice, Buhari should have been arrested before Shagari visited Plateau state on official visit. Shagari even told Solomon Lar (governor) of the coup rumours. Lar asked Buhari after Shagari left, but he denied it. Those polticians remaining from First Republic were too gentle.

(2) Dikko played a role in tracking 2.8 billion to Buhari's account in Midland Bank in London. From Buhari's days as oil minister. Dikko so wanted to nail Buhari, one major reason for Buhari's quick coup 3 months into the tenure.

Like Dikko, my journalist relative suffered the brutality of Buhari for investigating the above mentioned.

About Corruption: Dikko was a "bit" corrupt like most 9ja politicians then but not more than other core Northern politicians of that time that got no punishment. Barkin Zuwo was just crude to keep his money in bed room. A "bit" because they were amateurs compared to these days.

I was around when it happened. Not told.grin

Patriotic politicians patronize their country's airlines, even if private or government-owned.
David Milliband and opposition leaders in other countries, if the choice is available always patronise their local/home country airlines.

In fact, polticians from all parties in 9ja (without official aeroplanes) should do so, not just Buhari. But they don't.

The govt doesn't even need a fleet of aeroplanes. 2 at most.

Therefore, if Buhari is talking about change, he should be seen to be doing things differently.

I don't know about the rest of the Embassies but I am VERY SUSPICIOUS about what is said for Dublin.

Firstly, half way through the author began to talk of Dubai!! Not even on the same continent!

Secondly the claim of one Nigerian a week being murdered in our Capitol Dublin (i.e. at least 50 Nigerians murdered per year). This seemed remarkably high and I was very sceptical. In a nation of 4.5 million (6 million if you include Northern Ireland) ANY murders get NATIONAL COVERAGE IN THE MEDIA. I would have been aware of such a figure.

I checked with the Crime Statistic and saw that in 2012 there were only 77 murders in the entire country. I did not get exact figures but few of these murders were African, let alone Nigerian.

When one portion of an article is so erroneous as this it make me suspicious about all the rest. I have not researched/checked what it says about any of the other countries but they have got Ireland totally wrong. So it is possible that the rest as in error also.
.

Ireland figures are surely wrong.

I agree with you on some scores- Ethnic, religious and sectarian factors remain blinding forces amongst us as a people.
I'm aware of that.

But I don't agree with you that the SW press are doing a disservice to Jonathan.
He was praised for the universities, almajiri schools and trains.
All they say are, should these be uppermost in our priority list now?
How many people in the cities use these trains to work daily?
Are the trains remotely connected to the hubs of the real sectors with the hopes of empowering their demands and delivery?

How many peeps troop to aba from lagos or from lagos to ph weekly or daily via the trains to engage in some nationally industrial activitty (say, a shoe making factory)?

What they say is that, this president routinely puts the cart before the horse.

And he always affirms his cluelessness-

What stopped him from providing his palliative buses in the strategic cities in the subsidy fiasco aftermath in 2011?
Rather he launched trains.

Yes, the SW press reported the number of power stations he's commissioned in the space of 6wks...but you know what?

I'm still in darkness as I type this...
.

GEJ has got far less credit than he deserves.

I was actually against GEJ before I began following NL politics section. I thought he can do much better. He still should do more.
Here on NL, a particular section of Nigerians chorus clueless, clueless and dismiss entirely any good things he does.
It became obvious to me that tribalism is the main reason not critical analysis or comparison with OBJ government for example.
The train system is a gradual one.

There is a roadmap that will for the first time connect cities like Benin, Asaba, Onitsha to Lagos & beyond. You cannot expect him to connect the whole country in 5 years. With railway. And other new lines nationwide.

If OBJ had done to this extent, it would be in a different phase now.

Do you remember petrol price when OBJ took over? Remember how many times price went up? How many buses/cars did OBJ provide?
GEJ inherited a prohibitive over 70% recurrent expenditure, little left for capital ones.

Now with Otedola, Dangote's uncle and other powerbrokers enmeshed in subsidy scandal, what could GEJ do? Jail them all and pave way for coup plotters to be pushed on by the media?

The only way was to fight the scam at source. Totally remove it & we may suffer for a few years. Money saved channelled towards restoring refineries, so prices can go down again. Fertilizer scam was removed at source.

But in 9ja truth is bitter, we cannot afford the subsidy and expect refineries to be fixed to cater for 170million people's petrol needs, not 1980s with less than 100 million people.
We have also become very cynical & cannot believe any politician means well.

The article threw up a simple poser-

What stops the FG from prosecuting and nailing Tinubu if they've evidence he's corrupt?

Why resort to propangandist documentaries whose casualties are always- the uninformed, half baked and superstitious minded elements in our society.

I expect you to help by giving reasons why the pdp govt fell short in their duties (excuses always)
Than re-echo their traditional banal accusatory theatrics.
.

Dude, are you a learner? Nigeria is a place where 1+1 can be 29 or any number apart from 2.
9ja politics is not about "doing the right thing or truth", it's about calculations, permutations and tribal and sectarian power blocks.

All 9ja politicians and military have always been mindful of Nigerian media controlled by the South-West based in Lagos. They are the opinion formers whether you like it or not.

See what the media is doing to GEJ. If a SW head of State had built the universities & revived the railway as GEJ did, they will praise him to high heavens.

Imagine EFCC pressing Tinubu harder, SW media will be up in arms and completely twist everything, turning it into GEJ & Igbo out to punish SW people.

We live in a morbidly tribalistic & sectarian country. Don't pretend that you don't know.
Nigeria is not ready to go forward yet. Not a country where some youths think a 73-year old kicked out dictator is the hope future.

Nigeria doesn't work, a split will probably be the way forward, hopefully a peaceful one when crude oil becomes irrelevant due to alternative energy.
