donnypool:. I dey hide myself before? You're the one taking panadol for another man's headache. Anyway, we re used to the antipathy of some home-based people. And I personally find this attitude worse than witchcraft. And if you were a witch, and if this diabolical thing is that real (as you seem to believe) you won't spare your relatives abroad. Out of hatred. Well, for your information, many believe exactly that. That the further away you're (with misplaced belief that money grows on trees abroad), the more targeted you're. Is that new to you or you just want to confirm? some people living 100 km to their village won't go home. Too afraid. Let me tell you a recent event. I person I know very well refused to go to 9ja for a funeral earlier this year. Reason? I nor want all those people wahala. I nor wan show myself there. The guy died here about a month ago. Suddenly. Autopsy indicated heart attack. Suppose he went to 9ja in June. What would people say killed him? One will die one day. When is unknown. |
alexdellafonte:. Two people died in a motorbike accident in Makurdi on New year's eve. Is Makurdi now also an Edo Village? See link to graphic pic below: https://www.nairaland.com/2070054/okada-accident-claims-two-lives#29392168 People and prejudice sef. I go to my village with my Europe-born kids whenever I visit 9ja/Edo State. One will die when the time comes, fear or no fear. |
Joel3:. I don't think it's that simple. There are many mysteries of life. Every human has a soul as you know. Where does the soul go when physical body dies? The devil can also use people's image after death. Satan is a master imposter. In the Bible, at En-Dor, the witch made the image/figure of "Prophet Samuel" appear to King Saul. 1 Samuel 28:3-25. It was in fact the devil. But the "prophecy" given by the devil posing as Samuel did come to pass. King Saul and Jonathan were killed in the battlefield. In fact Saul committed suicide after injury. And his army was vanquished. |
So women wearing tight-fitting jeans trousers na abomination then. Abi Naomi, Dorcas and all those ladies them rock trousers those days? ![]() Maybe Boko guys can even use this to justify why women must cover up. |
Good encouragement. If they have money to throw a party, they should use it to get her extra lessons at home. |
@OP, Please see this thread. https://www.nairaland.com/2064380/what-does-lady-gain-broke Going through this thread, the comments of some ladies are very revealing. There are lots we don't know about women. Yes even your gf. They want us to accept their heinous atrocities and pretend all is fine. Check out these figures from research: 50% of first born kids don't belong to their believed bological dad. 30% of all kids don't belong to their supposed dad at all. If you think it's all abradcadabra, go ask Femi Kuti. Two of his kids failed DNA/Paternity test. Don't even mention MKO Abiola's case. A friend's only kid in 9ja failed DNA test that would have allowed family reunion visa to go abroad. The above may seem irrelevant to the topic at hand. But it is because lots of ladies have a boyfriend but sleep with sugar daddies and others for money. Anybody can be responsible for the preggy of the girlfriend you want to marry. The firstborn kid may like not be yours! Your gf can very rightly quantify the market value of all those sex sessions you believed were between two people in love. Many begin it as a temprary thing in higher institution or as a jobless/underemployed/underpaid struggling girl from a not-so-rich home. Problem is it can become a habit and can continue into marriage if hubby is not loaded or at least comfortable. wisdomguy4u: |
Emperor007:My brother I tire o. If you're applying for a job or even after years in employment, your employers can request to see your certificates. And you have to provide them. Why is GMB just not doing same? He's applying for a job from us the people of 9ja. |
RIP Dude. |
kestolove95:. Very unlikely this kinda guy will have condom with him. And he may even have a teenage girlfriend wey he go nack with same preek. Urghh! |
@ Slurry, estimated cost for a small biodigester able to produce 5kw, 7.5kw & 10kw would be nice to have. |
ok, Anymore news on biodigester? |
Stones the size of Zuma n Olumo rock. Otherwise very tasty. If rice millers can do better, no contest, local rice anytime. |
scribble:Na wa o |
himkers:. My brother, I understand your frustration, you're not alone. But all developed societies have efficient local councils. But in 9ja people are not even aware that the basic facilities and infrastructure provision & maintenance come under local councils. This widespread ignorance suits our corrupt councillors and LGA chairmen perfectly. Instead, these looters spray money in weddings/parties, give area boys drinks and give 1000 Naira to some elders and they're appreciated. A serious restructuring and sanitisation of polity will change things. Actually councils should get more powers. BUT not as it is now. Too corrupt. |
It's another copy copy mentality of Western trend. When I was a kid, my mum hardly had any pink stuff but always looked gorgeous. Now Vogue and other magazines tell women what's chic and what isn't. Funny enough, pink was previously a male colour in Europe. |
![]() firstEVA:My dear in that thread, you make it appear like sex is a matter of profit and loss. So men gladly followed your train of thought. Just because the male folk said so doesn't put "NAFDAC number" on your argument. It doesn't make it solid. In my opinion, sex is not like spare parts, recharge card or supermarket business. Like you're in it for the profit. To portray women as the weaker sex these days is just convenient. Women's soft power is enormous. And they have wielded it with much skill since Adam & Eve. Turai Yar'Adua and Paypay Jonathan come to mind. If I understand your position, women have discovered a big market in men's libidinous antics and are exploiting it. But claim they're just doing it because pressure from men is so great. Really? In our culture, men ask women out. Women can refuse. What they find difficult to resist is the cash, Peruvian hair, iphone, bb, shopping, etc When will some women take responsibility for their own decisions and not claim weaker sex? If women commit adultery, oh it's because the man is not good in bed, his preek is not big enough. Women never admit that after sleeping with tens of men of hugely varying manliness sizes, they might have expanded their "under" beyond point of elasticity. Even women who lie down there like a log of wood still blame men for no fun. Have you done a survey to find out how many young girls would wait till marriage b4 sex? Excluding those who sleep with 4 men regularly but claim virgin to the mugu she wants to marry? A girl that has already had an abortion once tried to pretend to be a virgin. What I later discovered was a dual carriage way. Until you can prove that women have sex at gunpoint or knifepoint, the weaker sex line won't cut it. Promiscuity and greed are more likely reasons. |
Used mercedis benz ML320 3seater leather alloy ac n more Price 650k, nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn By the above do you actually mean 3 rows of seat? Which year built is it and is it Lagos cleared with papers intact? |
Tashamania:. $1m, £1m, E1m or 1m Naira? For 1 million Naira, I won't. |
firstEVA:. Then please campaign to legalise prostitution. So that the patrons can pay VAT and the women meeting sex demand can pay income tax. The taxes would benefit society at large. So you posit that only a man has unsatisfied sexual urges and a woman doesn't enjoy the act. A good line of thought. So you think sexual intercourse should be underpined by money and material stuff changing hands? Would you teach your kids and younger ones (male or female) that this is the right attitude to wards sex? My dear, I just want to know your thoughts on the above. As a person who believes in gender equality (pay, promotion, legal rights in everything), I consider it a bit demeaning to women for girls to accept that their body (and consent to sex) is a commodity that a man can pay money/goods for and use at will. And pay next time and use again. Whether a man asks for sex with green eyes or red eyes, no woman is obligated to sleep with him. There's something called marriage. That's not a bad place to get laid. |
tchidi:. On behalf of His Excellency Musiwa, The President of New Benin Republic and Lord Mayor of Ikorodu Federal Capital Territory (IFCT), I want to assure you that there's no cause for alarm. The said satellite was being completely revamped and rijigged to 5-G futuristic capacity to enhance monitoring of the nefarious activities of Boko.hari and their acolytes. theSpark:. A men o. At least normal people making an impact in society are being recognised. In our dear cont3 na convicted and pardoned looters dey cart away awards. |
kaka22:. As a military dictator, he could detain anyhow. No evidence, no charge, no trial. Like Alex Ekweme (Shagari's VP) was imprisoned for years, yet no single evidence came up against him. But Buhari's fellow Fulani Shehu Shagari, the president who supervised what whatever corruption and incompetence his regime was accused of, was only given house arrest and was sipping kunu in an airconditioned mansion. Selective injustice and intimidation was it. He only succeeded in setting democracy back by 16 years. (1983-1999). A 16 years old girl is almost too old to marry Senator Yerima. ![]() Chai, these ab.oki people, ehn. |
The first reason is that jobs are very few. If jobs were abundant, employers would be willing to train and retrain. They should be talking about lack of self-employment training in tertiary insitutions. Self-employment should be a module taken throughout the course: Self-Employment 101 to 505 as the case maybe. With experts who have created own jobs and succeeded drafted in as instructors. |
Although I'm in the top 10 on an earlier thread, I believe you can make an impact in any discipline if you're passionate and commited enough. The fact that courses like Botany, Zoology, Forestry & Wildlife, education etc are not lucrative explain why we're were we're as a nation. Educational standards ghave fallen in Nigeria. One reason is those who study education mostly do so as "how I for do na". Basically as last resort. Yet we need committed educationists badly. With the plant & animal sciences, we're neglecting areas of comparative advantage. Conserving our widlife and forests would greatly enhance biodiversity & tourism around 100 years from now. Hopefully our descendants will not be as clueless as our current generations. They deserve a chance to harness these natural assets. |
Actually in 9ja, competing for a political office is more than wrestling. It is actually do or die. I think it's a comical way of depicting an otherwise serious matter. There's most honesty in it than most. It's battle royal in 9ja polity. With assassinations and voodoo stuff all included. |
I seriously disagree with (7). It is highly necessito. Keeps babes on their toes. Babes soon tire of a guy who seems incapable of charming other women. Dem go begin make nyanga. Most women don't like a 100% predictable guy. Of course they would hardly admit it. Some ladies are not even conscious of it. But subconsciously, predictability is boring. Predictability is not reliability. Most women on the other hand love reliability. Be it a reliable maga mugu, sugar daddy, you name it. Reliable wardrobe change, Peruvian hair, latest smart phone, pocket money as at when due or needed. Etc. ![]() |
prettyjo:. Which means for some ladies, pretending is their hobby. ![]() And they want men to be born again, and yet be a babalawo who can read mind at the same time. Brilliant. Ok o. But wait let me consult Ifa. Okan meji Odu mefa.......... |
bushdoc9919:. Shebi nasonal cake na turn by turn, beeni. ![]() |
luvinhubby:. Word. Ask him how Illorin (a key area of Oyo empire) came to have an emir as ruler. Maybe he thinks it happened during a picnic along the banks of River Niger. . Their method is to appear meek and peaceful. Grow in number until they feel powerful enough to overwhelm and conquer their hosts. He should go and read history books. |
Emperor007:When I have explained here on NL that Buhari was chiefly behind OIC membership, some kids not even born then and maybe still even jambites were saying rubbish. I had a VERY close relative who was a seasoned journalist of many decades prior to Buhari's regime. He knew the details. Of course he was harassed out of broadcasting service. Literally. For daring to be against it. By the maximum ruler's regime. Now people call GEJ all kinds of names, and not being sent to the gulag. I laugh when I see kiddies praising that intolerant religious zealot to high heavens. |
@OP, Happy New year! Can you please post pictures of the following: (1) Defathering machine (200k). Please state if locally made or import and energy/power requirement. (2) Incubators of 50 & 100 capacity. Do you also supply broiler packaging machine? How much does it cost? You can also email to: area.fada@yahoo.com Thanks. |
