nlfpmod:I don't know when these people will be civilised enough to eschew this barbaric culture ![]() |
fman:Yes! |
fman:The truth is Fulani are the largest ethnic group in Southern Kaduna and there is significant proportion of Hausa-Fulani people in almost all Southern Kaduna villages and towns that is why there is always ethno-religious clashes in the zones. I feel very disgusting when always going through those places by seeing a Christian and Muslims in those places having fun together doing almost everything together but allow themselves fight over religious reasons. |
gozmok1:You people think that the conspiracy you set is also set by others. During GEJ's regime, Andrew Azazi, the then NSA of GEJ publicly stated that PDP was Boko Haram. PDP wasn't happy with his utterances and he attended an event in one of the SS states, after the event he was flying back to Abuja and asked Yakowa if he can join him in his chopper and the two crushed in the chopper accident. Going by this narration, it is obvious that PDP either assassinated Andrew Azazi and accidentally Yakowa inevitably died in the trap or accidental death took them. You guys need to wake up beyond this ignorant assertions of hear-say. The duo died under Christian President, Govt preoccupied by mostly Christians. |
Imagine what those idiots would say if there is a single religious position being ordained outside Nigeria by other Nigerian faiths. They would have started their usual aspersions and propaganda... |
KingAzubuike:Don't let your emotions override your sense of reasoning. He made a valid points and no matter what, IBB bring more infrastructure development than any other President in the history of this Nation. |
gasparpisciotta:So, these ones are also Northerners?

Senator Kashim Shettima, Vice-Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has broken his silence on the controversy which trailed his dressing to the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) conference in Lagos on Monday. Shettima, who stood in for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of the ruling party, became a social media sensation after one of his pictures at the conference went viral. Social media users had accused the former Governor of Borno State of fashion error, picking many holes in his dressing. The criticism took another dimension when different persons, including celebrities like Charly Boy, mocked the politician with #ShettimaChallenge, which had several pictures of those reproducing what could be described as the senator’s dressing but in a comic manner. But speaking on the incident for the first time since it happened, Shettima said he deliberately wore the sneakers. He also alleged that a Presidential Candidate, whose identity he did not disclose, plotted mischief ahead of the event. In a video, Shettima said, “I was in Lagos for the NBA conference. The conference held in Eko Hotels. It was largely funded by the Lagos State Government, the APC government of Lagos State. Subsequently, they moved to Eko Atlantic City, a product of an idea conceived by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. “When I sent my recce team, it was learnt that one of the presidential candidates’ team held meetings for three consecutive nights to commit mischief. I was told it was a hostile crowd… I’m a banker, trained by one of the best bankers in the world. I’m a Jim Ovia boy. I deliberately wore sneakers to the NBA to swam at them.” https://dailytrust.com/nba-conference-saga-why-i-wore-sneakers-on-suit-shettima-breaks-silence |

The Federal Government has warned Nigerians against moving to Northern Cyprus in their quest for greener pastures. The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Dr. Abike Dabiri Erewa, gave the warning on Thursday while featuring at the 48th session of the State House Ministerial Media Briefing organised by the Presidential Communications Team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. She rued the frequency in the killing of Nigerians in foreign lands, particularly in Northern Cyprus, with no practical intervention from officials of that country because of the political situation in the European enclave. Dabiri-Erewa said there was little that could be done diplomatically to resolve the situation of Nigerians in Northern Cyprus because it was not recognized by the international community as a country except by Turkey. The NiDCOM chairman, who noted the cases of human right abuses in the country, said Northern Cyprus did not have robust mechanisms that would enable the Federal Government to pursue justice for several Nigerian students killed in the de facto state. Dabiri-Erewa, who noted that several Nigerians are being maltreated and killed in the region, said “Think twice before going to Northern Cyprus. We can’t do much for Nigerians there. Our students are being killed daily.” She said over 10,000 Nigerians in distress in Libya, Oman, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kenya, South Africa, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine and other nations of the world had been evacuated on the instructions of President Muhammadu Buhari. She added that every Nigerian stranded in the Ukraine at the start of the conflict returned home safely. The NiDCOM chairman, however, expressed sadness that some of them were still going back. She stressed the need for inter-agency collaboration to stop the trend. Dabiri-Erewa also warned those travelling to countries like UAE to commit crimes to stop forthwith. The NiDCOM chairman, who dismissed the fears of Nigerians in the Diaspora that their business interests in the country might be jeopardised by the prevailing security situation in the country, said the development was a temporary scenario. She said the Nigerian security agencies had been addressing the situation with the recent bombardment of terrorists’ hideouts in the government’s resolve to end the menace in parts of the country. She also assured the Diaspora community of great return on investment in the new enabling environment being created by the authorities. https://dailytrust.com/fg-repatriates-10000-nigerians-warns-against-living-in-northern-cyprus |
Peacemaker5129:This one will live long! |
wis3:Even if it is 5G there are range of frequencies within which it will operate and during testing Nigeria chose the lowest sfter successful testing in all the frequency bands. Security wise, the internet speed set is ok. |
bjtinz:He has been in banking industry for more than a decade and rose through the ranks to General Manager at Zenith Bank before joining politics around 2006. Shettima is extremely intelligent and PDP and others have to be careful of his genius political moves. He is very talented and read every day like a student, he read all kind of power play books, he knows a lot. Reno just learnt about him lately which shows that Reno is also not prepared for not knowing much about Shettima. |
SmartPolician:You failed to differentiate a new deal and statement made in an occasion. All the projects he mentioned aren't new, he mentioned them only as a reminder in occasion that participants need to hear. |
Corridon: Brunosamel:Can't you change this failed and outdated strategy? You aspersed the same allegations on Buhari prior to 2015 General Elections and he won the election. Now you are still descending your energy on wrong tactics instead of coming up with better strategy. You need points to win election even if they're deceptive but not apsersions! |
It is the best considering our desperate need of energy but the way our economy is being handled nuclear power too big for it. Not even China will take the risk of such huge liability. |
xpressionx:It is shameful that fanaticism has rendered your sense useless that you are still living in delusion and deliberately refuse to believe the true character of the Bishops that attended th event. How and why should Muslims behave like the barbaric way you do when in reality the clerics are true ones? If you don't know how some Muslims scholars supported Jonathan, organised and attended so many special prayer sessions for his success at Sokoto state and many parts of the North under the supervision of Sambo Dasuki prior to 2015 election you wouldn't mind embarrassing yourself with this shit. Go and verify! |
Oya, Gays and women your thread is ready ![]() |
The approach of the southern Governors forum is undemocratic though necessary! |
JASONjnr:These are the headlines of the news events that led to the arrested suspect's link to an efforr assassinate the former speaker. It is stated in the news but if you have never followed the event you may not understand what is happening: Bagoro: Dogara stripped of traditional title in Bauchi https://punchng.com/bogoro-crisis-dogara-stripped-of-traditional-title-in-bauchi/ The Bauchi State Government has filed a suit at the Bauchi High Court against a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and 28 others over the crisis https://punchng.com/bauchi-sues-dogara-28-others-over-gonto-memorial-crisis/ |
Bonavi:After all the social media noise and nuisance rally is finished and campaign starts that is when you will know who is who. Kwankwaso's single campaign office opening has thrown you into panicking by spitting this nonsensical statement out of envy. Una never see anything. A lot of people will come here with blame games when the real campaign bigins, you will soon start cursing some people saying they're not bothered and insensitive with hardship in the country all for the surprising mammoth crowd you will soon witness across the Nation. |
One of the suspects arrested for conspiring to kill Yakubu Dogara, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, has explained the reason behind his action.https://dailytrust.com/why-i-am-after-dogaras-life-suspect-confesses

Honestly, the level of barbarism among some Nigerians toward this coming election is alarming. Those who used to call others fanatics, illiterates, intolerants and all sort of printable names are now demonstrating what they accused others for. I can't imagine the barbarism they'll show when they lose the election they are going to inevitably lose! |
Prinxzona10:Stupid write-up. Always looking for ways to asperse others or blackmail them. |
NaijaRoyalty:Nonsense. No leader will waste time with people antagonising his being through ethni-religious bigotry and sentimental campaign of calumnies. He dropped them so that they can learn politics, not all people deserve begging. El Rufai in history, doeant care about ines religious affiliation and is never known or seen ever in any religious activities as Muslim that can portray him as religious devout like how some fanatic contestants are doing right now jumping from one religious house to another seeking for religious backing, he doesn't give a damn about it. When he ordered the massacre of Shiite members he saw as threat to the peace of the state you never bothered to call it religious bias killing but when he took a decision against Christians you are here crying. The largest ethnic group in Southern Kaduna is Fulani, go and verify and there are large number of Hausa Muslims in every village of Southern Kaduna. Did those millions people in Southern Kaduna who voted PDP stopped his 2019 re-election? We had a Governor who is now Presidential aspirant, who see Northerners as migrants in his state, who demolished businesses of many Northerners in his state, who made many callous comments on them. We have a sitting Governor who say his state is a Christian state which is contrary to the provision of Nigeria's constitution and heaven never fall. In the same Southern Kaduna that you call Rufai terrorist because of the usual ethno-religious crisis bedevilling the state there was a time the current opressors were used to be massacred and nobody call the then leaders terrorists. Today, it is evidently clear that Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, Niger are facing similar insecurity scenarios but you chose Kaduna to satisfy your illusionary agenda of religious infractions. The recent religious fanaticism from you is out of this planet! |
floret23:El Rufai has nothing to lose after 2023. He did what he should do and got re-elected in 2019. Leaders are intuitively born with the leadership attributes that make them have wisdom to make difficult decisions for the interest of people and the future plan that best suits that particular society. |
fortunez1:When Govt stopped importation of rice what did Nigerians say especially the bigots? |
But recently NPF bought many Innoson carriers, I have seen about 50 along Abuja Kaduna road recently doing patrol. |
ijewejones:Nigeria has been spending billions of Naira supporting Chad, Niger and Cameron to help us fight insurgents flourishing to Nigeria. All those buffalo Toyota u see Chadians used in fighting terrorists close to Nigerian boarder are part of the support. Do you know why? All our neighbors have no financial capacity or armoury to help us in this cause except we give our input. If we refuse, the consequences will be huge and for them most people in countries like Chad are born and die fighting.... |
Ebubu9:Nonsense. Mahamat Deby is a Bidayat clan of the Zaghawa ethnic group. Both him and Buhari will speak Hausa at the event because it is the easiest way to communicate between them without need for interpreter except in the event of press release! |
