I'm sure those guys who alerted the police would have at one point or another insulted the police.

Its not a crime to criticise a law enforcement agent for misbehaving. I may agree that most people do not commend them when they do their job, but I can tell you for a fact that Nigerians will praise you when you do good and will not spare you if you do wrong. That's how it is in most countries of the world too. So, take no offence. Its just the way it is.

Done better in what way? Lagos is far Bette than those two states combined in the scheme of things. Lagos is the centre of commerce and industry in Nigeria with an international airport hence the ease of visits by foreign powers.
