Here's my thinking

If a state controls it's resources , then it knows best where to allocate it , there won't be this thing of getting federal approvals to fell structures that block certain path ways for water

One can build state run power plants , redesign entire local governments and push for better security structure within the state

Now each state would be forced to focus on building infrastructure that addresses their needs

For instance why would the governor of Niger state build a diamond conservatory when there are not diamonds in niger state ?

The federal uses funds as it pleases ? Another example is this ruga thing, it's not bad in a sane country but why build it outside regions where cattle rearing isn't their staple

A decentralized government would remove the inconsistency in the country

If my state enforces Sharia law that means I can't have alcohol companies there in hence they won't pay me taxes

As it stands Nigeria uses funds raised in certain states to fund other states whose governor do nothing

Look at Bornu, that state has been comatose and the governor receives federal allocation monthly for doing nothing

Half his citizens are in IDP camps , he doesn't bother as he believes it's the federals job to stop bokoharam

A decentralized government would make the politicians sit up

Hence each state will use only what they can.genrrate within and receive a token from the little repatriated to the central purse monthly by the states
Just my two cents
Om the long term this makes sense but the governors are all crooks so it wont still change anything

States should be allowed to control their resource
This is my thinking
The present method doesn't seem to be working

Most governors have great intentions but it just seems maybe things are strangled at the center government
One state governor used billions to bury dead people with funds from the central government.

They are all the same smash and grab criminals. It will only enrich the state government and not the federal.

Do you think the federal government isnt aware of all the embezzlements going on? Think again.

History will always remember you for your doggedness and giant strides against all odds.

History will remember how you stared into the eyes of mighty enemies and defined a path.

You were a gift who came to redeem us.

We do will remember how critics rubbished your administration when same people applaud you after your demise.

We will immortalise your legacies, imbibe your rules and practice your bravery and charisma

Bros I'm not in support of what they did, that's why the Govt.can help sensitize them on the right way of getting it done with such a skill as theirs.
Lol.

I agree you dont support what they did, but stop pointing at the government.

Are they not aware that what they are doing is wrong? They must be aware of nafdac and all other sundry bodies they either bribe or dodge from. So there is no excuse like the government should show them the way.

They already knew what way to follow and made thier choice.

Why are Africans like this, if you have a financial capacity and factory to fake such expensive beverages in large quantities and you have the market why not get your own brand and be proud of it by getting license from the government and register the business and produce legally because once the government of the day is getting some returns to them, then your biz becomes legal

Look at gokada for example, before now okada do not operate on high ways but now it can run high ways and far distance in lagos just because the government is getting something from there. Just register your biz and pay your dues
Please read my comment above. God bless you for this statement.

May be with their skills if harnessed into proper channel could better the country, just few days back a woman was caught producing peak milk.......WHAT DO U THINK.
Who will harness the skill?

I tell you this type of statement really irks me. Why didnt they start their own brand if they are so skilled. Why produce fake of another one. Because they weren't ready to wait for thier brand to catch up with the ones on ground.

We should stop giving excuses fro criminals please. Do you know how many people have been killed because of this type of thing.

What are you saying? Coke works in two ways.

It either makes you sleep off or hyper active. Its depends on your system.

Do you know how many rape cases takes place daily. It take a LOT of courage to speak out. You won't understand until a female (close) friend, sister, mother, niece or daughter experience it.

It changes something in a woman, you either become so gentle and scared or you become so angry and aggressive.
Cocaine doesnt make you knock out. It makes one hyperactive and feel ontop of the world.

While I understand that rape isnt a joke some women make light of it for small fame like the footballers case.

She may have been raped but that's definitely how it happened. If so then why is she lying?

I doubt that cos the producers of Bond movies didn't portray bond like that up until the vin diesel of a bond, Craig Daniel.

Jason Bourne is way better than Craig.

SPECTRE was bushhht. Bond never fail to deliver and M of all bond people got targeted, whaddahell!!!!!
As I said I read some books and I was surprised. Bond is an assassin a killer not a gentleman. Though the drinks and girls go with the program.

First settlement.

Next they want an emir.

Then a councillor

Then argue why they can't be local government chairman

Then governor.

A step by step process till they occupy Nigeria in totality.

Every indigence of benue should rather die than allow this happen. Let us know that they reject it completely.

Well done king in the north.

Yep,they spoilt it with that thug character, Daniel Craig.
Bond movies remains my all time favourite. But it ends with the last Pierce Brosnan 007 movie. I don't fancy any of Craig's Series. Thank God he's on his last contract.
My favourite is Roger Moore (late)
To be Frank if you read the books by Ian flemming Daniel Craig is actually the closest to the bond character.

James bond in the books isnt a comedian cracking jokes and making cool moves, he is a violent assassin( licensed to kill) .

Think Jason Bourne as the American version of James bond.

Na wa oh.

As we dey manage the only solution is more hardship.

First the executive and legislative need to cut down maximally on their finances. ( but will they) when clowns like dino are in the upper house.

Thier salaries and allowances shouldnt be more than 500k a month. After all many people earn less than that and go to work everyday, pay rent and school fees and feeding.

So what the hell are they doing to earn such largesse. Next thing is recess. Thier papa. Yes I said it thier papa.

When u want to rent a house, collect your key immediately! With the necessary receipts. Within an hour or so, change the locks of the front door, and add toko taya to the door with another padlock! On it!
Then park in within a week, let's see if they will break down my door and give to another. Scammers everywhere like mtn
Exactly. That's my advice above but the scam has been pulled already.

Hello guys.... I'm devastated right now, I can't even think.... I just want to wake up from this dream. This would have been different if I didn't see it coming, God really tried to help us, it was very obvious! On my way to work yesterday, my mind wasn't at rest again, my spirit told me to go to that house to go check what is going on, I did and one of the men saw me there and came outside before I entered, he knew I know they are fraudsters but I have no evidence so he is always mean towards me, especially after I took pics of the agent. He said we should come today or Monday for the key, on getting there today, just as I suspected, many people were already in the apartment crying and most were shocked because many people paid up-to half a million for same apartment. The lucky ones are those who moved in first. Now I'm just sitting down confused, frustrated, I have no idea what to do....i tried but I wasn't listened to, somehow I might even be blamed as African mentality.
Well my advice came late. Plug and play. Once you pay collect keys straight and change the locks and put up curtains even if it's old bedsheets on the windows facing outside.

Lagos is full of thieves.

You are absolutely right....there are no reasons yet to draw any conclusion which seems annoying lol because now I just have to wait, anyways I will put this in prayers as God is the only One who can help me right now, and He knows their real identities. Thanks for your advice and concerns as talking about this helped eased this whole stress. I will give you more details as I go check the apartment and also once I have the key by God's Grace.....thank you so much.
When next you step into that house collect the keys and tell them you'll clean up yourself. Never ever pay and wait. House is plug and play. Learnt this the hard way.

Get the keys call carpenter change the door lock. Then it's yours. Anything else is story.

Also next time dont go alone go with one or two others. It's easier to intimidate a lone female but once you're two it gets harder.

Good luck.

Men are mostly dispassionate about sex that now they do it. That's why jayz could cheat. That's why a man with 6 wives will get caught in the brothel.
When it comes to sex men really are funny. No wonder konji snow doesnt have a father.

Ps is your problem the paying for sex or the sleeping with a loose woman?
