Parrot69: N70K ? That's $32 in todays' currency OMG!!
Why do you think the Chinese and Lebanese love Nigeria. Cheap labour is plentiful if you complain another person is ready to take the job for less pay.
Chinese factory worker earns roughly 4 dollars an hr. Let that sink in. A 12 hr shift would net him 48 dollars that's more than they are paying for a month here.
Why do you think they haven't closed up like all the others the profit is massive.
faceland: Most of the things we do is pretense/cosplay. Qatar just said "sorry, we don't have time for dress up and make-believe" Any business that your partner is not gaining is not business, it is charity or parasitic relationship.
Exactly.
I didn't vote for tinubu but he is the president now and I honestly wish him well because if he succeeds in making nigeria great I'll reap from the benefits. I'm not ready to suffer just to say he shouldn't have been president.
He needs to sit up and look closely at those surrounding him. They're people who are not interested I partisan politics but their own pockets and as such would do anything to maintain the status quo.
See the dollar rise Look at the eternal failure of refineries and pchn. Look at the rate of banditry kidnapping and murder in the country See the level of hunger in the land. A hungry man would steal so as not to starve
He's got a lot of work to do and should not waste anytime with mediocre performers in his government. If he's strict and unforgiving they'll all sit up too.
ivandragon: Yes it does. But if business cannot be discussed, then the trip is going to be a waste of resources.
Also, it shows that this administration is using a scatter gun approach to governance because ordinarily, informal discussions would have been held before a formal request for the business meeting was made.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Nigerian embassy staff at Qatar should be sanctioned for embarrassing the Country.
That's what is shocking to me. Was there no informal discussion between our country and theirs. Why would we make such a request without background " collabo". I'm in shock. I agree that the FA minister and embassy staff should be severely sanctioned for this. ( assuming they were even aware ).
BannedUser: Oga, I don't understand your reasoning. He has actually preserved the value of his money. A car worth $5000 in December hasn't changed in price till now, but your Naira has lost around 20% in value within the same period. If he converted Naira to USD in December, he can still afford to buy the car now but he can't do the same if he was still holding Naira. Let me share a personal experience : A car I saw priced at ₦3.5m in December is still at the same amount today. If I swapped my money to $$$ then, I can still buy the same car today at a 20% discount. There is even a lag in the rate at which $$$ is increasing and when it starts to affect locally priced items.
You need to learn how to make money...
You said net worth has increased I quoted that comment.
Now you're saying he preserved the value of his money. Are they the same thing to you.
Leave that argument sha and drop potential x 50 coins let me ape.
Chully01: Usdt 1875 Even without trading I am in almost 300k profit because I have been unpatriotic since December 2023 ,changed all my naira savings to usdt. 2k usdt here We come
I also bought usdt at rate of 350 in the year 2016 or so
That one has even trippled in profit
Which way my country
This is profit bolded.
The December one isn't profit cos it would be wiped out soon by inflation. The money probably cannot buy what you could buy with it in December.
