if You stand on the street with a Mad Man and querel, they will be no difference. They is no need for Buhari to satisfy this mad men by dancing to their drum. if they want to think jubrin is in the villa then let them wallow in their illusion. Let Sleeping Dogs Lie. |
mohswahgy:it doesn't matter. he used two different pictures, flip the other and used the other as it was. |
by 17th of Feb next year, these questions will be answered. but from what I see, discussions on the elections has been clearly polarised. the West is for APC, the East for PDP, at least on this forum. my advice to those of you wasting ur energy nd time looking for d most provocative words, to counter those with different opinion is that: Elections are not won online. Nigerian politicians are not worth it, I don't see the need for all these names calling. the chance for u to meet a fellow memenber on this forum is far more than you meeting Buhari or Atiku. I think people should be more civil while projecting their candidates. the states where OBJ, GEJ, PMB come from.are not different from others in terms of infrastructure, some states are even far better off, so when u.guys insult urself over people who don't even give much concern abt u I feel sorry for dis over so called Leaders of Tomorrow. |
fahren:YOU will vote not WE... na only one Vote u get |
BishopImam:what of the rigging in the South? Rivers state to be precise? and places where card readers failed, who told u elections were not conducted there. Bros elections held everywhere, in Nigeria, even without the card reader. |
[quote author=waveman2 post=73169690]Are you sure you read the data before posting. I had not seen this before I made this asertion and I was right. [/quot I can't make u see it. but if u look at the chart well u will discover d difference in volume of import for those years. check if 1999-2007 were not bellow 2015-2016 where d data ends |
kcay:when you asked them why it happened that way, what response were u giving? |
waveman2:please visit this site https://www.indexmundi.com/facts/nigeria/import-volume-index |
waveman2:1. population is a double edge sword. when you have a population that has majority depending on Government, this 9ja situation is inevitable. check out China, they have a very large population, but they are still leading in world economy cus the manpower is not so dependent on government, same applies to US, in contrast check Brazil and India, though their situations are not as dire as that of Nigeria, but it's not still reflecting the size of the population. 2. natural resources is an area where u will start blaming Gawon and every individual that followed him, up to Buhari, equally, if u want to be objective. they have made the country over reliant on Oil, forgetting to develop other natural resources, lit Tin, Ore, Agriculture nd a host of others. 3. issues like Technology you will have to be specific in what ways he has not done anything. remembering that state owned firms are not much again, cus they were sold under OBJ. I will understand government policies if u argue towards that line, |
waveman2:ask yourself how much of importation was Nigerians doing by then. can u compare d demand for foreign exchange that was then with what is obtainable now? theory of demand nd supply should give you the answer. everybody in this country now is an importer. Check the activities at the sea ports. when the country can't manufacture most of the goods they consume or the rate at which they produce is not commensurate with the demand they import, and you need FX. again u are bringing these goods at a price that is already above the cost price Into the country cus the importer has to make profit. brother there are a lot of variables, some of these things it's better to explain verbally for me. the present government has their challenges based on current realities, |
Kanu that was released on Bail, where is he? the guy violated every bail condition. for the Record, National Security override A persons Personal Rights. those who care can check the case of Asari Dokubo vs FG. when the Supreme Court ruled that a persons fundamental rights comes second when the issue of National Security is involved, it's on this premise that these persons are been held. which country jeopardises National Security for a person? the only reason this thing is making NEWS is because Nigeria is a third world country, Do know the Number of people the CIA are hoping without even trial? The US has something know as the Patriot Act, once you are having any terrorist allegation on you, certain rights are completely ignored for sake of National Security. |
waveman2:Kai Brother don't say what u don't know because people are saying it. do u Know the term Value of Money? do u think $25 in 2002 can still afford you the same thing in 2018? there are a lot of variables that account for GDP growth. some of these things you don't just accept what the politicians say. use your own intellect also. |
will INEC force People to collect PVC, did INEC distribute PVC to the Northerners in their respective houses? I don't think that issuance of PVC had anything to do with his failed ambition. GEJ should have looked inwards also nd seen his own weakness. According to him the whole world was against him. Y would the North not vote against him, when Boko Haram annexed states like Borno, Gombe, Adamawa, Yobe,? these excuses will only be entertained by those who choose to. |
NaijaRoyalty:so are u also hoping Atiku will accept defeat in 2019? |
mcbreeze:journalism is not stupidity. |
carsprayer:I guess before the election some people were saying Kwara and Bauchi were PDP strong holds na? y the change of tongue? |
Donelli:I der Sudan? y not search for d details of the police interrogation instead of cooking up false tales of conspiracy. |
duncun:so ur INTERPOL told you the CoS to the president ordered the killing? see not everyone in this country is crazy Oh. |
Habibu Almu, the Nigerian diplomat who was recently assassinated in Khartoum, Sudan, was murdered by a Sudanese of Nigerian origin, according to the ministry of foreign affairs. Tope Elia-Fatile, spokesman of the ministry, said this in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday. He said the suspect murdered Almu at his official quarters on Thursday. “Consequently, after several arrests and investigations by the host authorities, it was established that the deceased was stabbed to death by one Miss Inas Khalid Maikano,” the statement read. “The suspect who is a student of Sudanese- Canadian College in Khartoum is a Sudanese of Nigerian origin. “It was discovered during investigations, authorities discovered that the suspect had stolen some of the deceased personal belongings including cash.” The spokesman quoted the suspect as confessing to committing the crime and is being held in police custody. He added: “Our mission in Khartoum will continue to monitor and follow up the case to ensure that justice is done on this matter. In the meantime, the process of conveying the remains of the late Almu to Nigeria for proper burial is being finalised. https://www.thecable.ng/sudan-based-nigerian-diplomat-murdered-fellow-nation An incident in May you guys are bringing it up because it's election Time. see make una d fear God Ohh!! |
Sunofgod:hahaha, the same way GEJ said he will do only one term, bt contested in 2015: d same way Buhari said one term and now contesting again. trust d words of Nigerian politicians at ur own peril. there is no way Atiku would relinquish power in 2023 if elected, mark my words. |
Amazing, how a single individual will sit down and make a forecast, forgetting the human beings are rational. I am from Benue, nd be sure that PDP will not get the votes you think they would. Even the governor might not get reelected. My advice is that those of you forecasting rubish should stop, nd start mobilizing people for your preferred candidate instead. election is not won on social media. |
so kanu can turn a whole tribe into miscreants. if u live in the North, u will discover that over 90% of them wear their caftan all day, nd especially the matured men, they don't remove their caps in public. I remember the principal of d school where I served, the man said, if he removes his cap it feels as if he is naked, once he has dat caftan on his body. some of d evidence this guy is pointing at are just laughable. If this news was true, by now PDP would hv made it their No 1 point of campaign. only Kanu and his legion of ill informed followers are propagating it. Buhari is dead, nd wasn't given a proper Islamic burial? something those people don't even joke with. even d common man who can't afford a piece of cloth is buried in accordance with the Islamic teaching, talk more of d president. some people were burn fools, some are turned fools, Kanu was born a fool, he has succeed in turning IPOB followers into fools. |
I think Ndigbo will thread with caution this time around. U don't put all eggs in one basket in politics. unfortunately they Learnt the hard way in 2015. the major problem is they take things too personal. just listen to the last wish of the Prof. Atiku might win the SE, but it might not be a landslide as u guys on nairaland think. |
what of those people who are not on twitter!!! I.don't think this guy is serious. |
people are already throwing Stones at Osibanjo before hearing his own side of the story. people in this country turn to interpret news the way there feel. in the case of an emergency the President has the authority to expend money that hasn't been appropriated. the legislators know this, when d so called 5.8 billion was released, the Vp was d Acting President, so he could do it. Theses legislators think anything that does not pass through their hands is illegal, only because they never got the opportunity to get their claws on the money... |
Faber:and u think GEJ wrote the Book with his hands, think again bro, someone else did d writing... |
You see the problem of Nigerians. Brother instead of advising people to vote for another candidate and party entirely you are asking them to vote Atiku nd PDP. this PDP ruled this country for 16 years, what did they do with the massive money that accrued? was it not during this period that Boko Haram was at it's peak, even bombing at eagles square, GEJ couldn't even hold Independence Day celebration there because he was scared.? Your advice is pathetic, nd I pitty those who sit down nd listen to them. if you are looking for money just say so, don't come online and claim a nationalist. we just can't be progressive in this country, not even in our minds at least. Buhari, Atiku, Na only them fit sit inside the office? |
Meaningful investments... |
Bizibi:bros I didn't approve of d bribery, read it well nd understand it. |
Turantula:see this one, you just assume everyone whose opinion differ from yours is either Yoruba or Hausa? I question the sense of reasoning of most people on this forum. bros I be confirmed christrian, nd nt a Yoruba or Hausa. |
@ least the man is doing something, we all know that politicians in Nigeria are thieves, Ganduje is just one who has been caught red handed. yet he is working, now can someone please estimate how much kickbacks people in power got from the $16 Billion spent for power between 1999-2015 yet we have seen nothing worthy... that amount if properly spent, we would not be talking about light in this country... |
They said it wasn't a burglary, what type of weapons were d culprits carrying that makes them feel it was actually an assassination attempt?. They are now calling for rehabilitation of Airport nd completion of Bridge, when it's finally done, nobody will hear thank you, but reminding men of how GEJ or PDP started it, initiated it... As if they were not around to influence those who initiated the project to complete it. |
