PoliticsRe: Donald Duke Backs Out Of Presidential Race, Endorses Buhari by asfrank(m): 2:13am On Feb 08, 2019
if the News read that he supported Atiku all those calling the man names would have been cheering the man up. I begin to think how some set of people feel everyone that doesn't feel, think, say or do something in the same manner as them is wrong. That man if this story is correct has the right to endorse anyone. At his level, his choice is more informed than most of you insulting him online. This Man was a 2 term governor in PDP and worked with Atiku and every other notable PDP supporter like OBJ. He knows what he is doing.

Buhari will not win Benue this time, but the man is going to get not less than 200,000 votes trust me.. Those washing the floor there are not up to 100 and people are already concluding.. From what I have seen so far since I returned to makurdi, APC will get more than the required votes in Benue.

Thrash....What of Kano 2011 and 2015?
Your question is based on what.
Kano 2011 Election results
PDP 440,666
CPC 1,624,543
Shekarau 526,310
2015 elections
PDP 215,779
APC 1,903,999

While it's easy to explain the increase in votes by Buhari in Kano state. How can you explain a colossal loss of over 800,000 votes in Abia state by GEJ and PDP? How possible?

What some people are falling to understand is that PDP has rigged every election that has been conducted in Nigeria since it came to power. those who wish to follow facts will attest to this. SS and SE has been the grounds for massive rigging. the Truth is that PDP had the power then, and so they used it to the fullest, now that power is no longer there for them, the electoral law that was used in the 2011 election was the same as the one OBJ used to rig Yar'Adua to power. when the law was heavily changed in 2015, their ability to muster to votes that they got in the previous election changed. Before anyone insult or call me names, they person should explain the huge differences between 2011 and 2015 elections in the SS and SE

2011. 2015. Difference
Enugu 802,144. 553,003. ( 247,141)
Abia 1,175,987. 363,303. (812,684)
Anambra 1,145,169. 660,762. (484,407)
.Ebonyi 480,492. 323,653. (156,839)
Imo 1,381,357. 559,185. ( 822,172)
Cross River 709,382. 414,863. (294,519)
Delta 1,378,851. 1,211,405. (167,446)
Rivers 1,817,762. 1,487,075. ( 330,687)
Edo 542,173. 286,869. ( 255,304)
Bayelsa 504,811. 361,209. (143,602)
Akwa Ibom 1,165,629. 953,304. (212,325)

Without the card reader, Fellow WEll meaning Nigerians, PDP would still be in power, courtesy of election rigging. the difference add up to 2,927,126. This Number is more than the difference Buhari won 2015 elections by. This captures only the SE and SS not putting into account what happened in other places. My question is if these votes were really genuine, Where were the voters and their Votes in 2015 as against 2011. One thing is sure they didn't vote for the opposition party in 2015, so what really happened to almost 3 millions votes in this region.
My take....
Without Rigging of Election in this country PDP has no chance of victory.

Bros the appointment of the CJN is clearly stated in section 231 of the constitution and involves the three arms of government.

The removal of the is also clearly stated in the constitution and it also involves the three arms of government.

There is no how buhari can win this case.Justice Onnoggen will most likely return as CJN on Tuesday
No body removed the CJN he was suspended from office. must I explain suspended to you? bt the way have you checked section 11 of the Interpretation Act? check it. The President was relying on the Court order of the CCT, which has the powers to give such a recommendation on any Public Officer, the CJN is a public officer. and not that was an ex parte order, the Same order the CJN lawyers were using to stop his trial at the CCT. chech the 6th schedule of the constitution and read about the CCT powers. Then you can come back let's talk.

the CJN is chosen by the NJC and recommended to the president for appointment. He is an appointee of the NJC and not that of the president.

Should we also say the President is an appointee of the CJN since he is the one that swore him in to office
Brother do you really know what an appointment means? The CJN recommended to the president by the NJC correct, now the President has the prerogative to reject that recommendation since he is the one appointing him. Now looking at the famous Ayo Salami case, when the NJC recommended that he should be reinstated, the President refused.

judiciary is an independent arm of government. cbn is not. cbn is directly under executive arm of government. judiciary us not under executive.
That's no excuse. Check section 11 of the Interpretation Act, it states that where ever the power to appoint is conferred on a person, the power to remove and suspend Is also given. The CJN is appointed by the president. Independence of the judiciary is about their function not personal like that of the Executive. Total immunity from prosecution world over is only enjoyed by the Executives and constitutional monarchs..

Let me educate some Zombies on how politics works!

Atiku don't need to win Kano state. He only needs atlist 40% of Kano's votes. That's all. As you know, Kano gave pmb above 1.9million votes in 2015 while PDP got less Dan 250 thousand votes from the region. Now going by kwankwanso's movement in Kano. I can categorically tell you that the APC votes in Kano will just be a little above PDP's Kano votes, that's if APC wins Kano in the first place.

Now let's take a look at Rivers state. The state is predominantly a PDP state. Rivers gave PDP 1.4 million votes in 2015, close to 1.5 million. While APC only got 69 thousand + votes in Rivers.

My point? Apc's strongest state is Kano, while PDP's strongest state is Rivers. Going by recent appenings, PDP will sure get above 25% votes in APC's strongest state which is Kano and APC don't stand a chance in Rivers (PDP's strongest state).... Which is already a win win for PDP. Kano will not produce as much votes it produced for APC in 2015, but Rivers will sure produce more Dan wat it delivered for PDP in 2015, this makes it a win win for PDP.

I rest my case! Politics is all about numbers, and getting more votes from ur opposition's strongest place.
The same thing applies to the Southern regions. especially SS and SE, Buhari don't need block votes, and his performance in the SS would be far better than what he got in 2015: This is not a one way traffic, where u think Atiku will split Northern votes while Southern votes remain untouched..

Their public stance is based on their NEC meeting and not the personal views(s) of those members.
So,are you saying all the Supreme Court Justices who stayed away from the constitution of the election petition tribunals on Saturday should also not be there?
the President of the NBA is the Representative of the Body, his presence on that council is by virtue of the office he occupies not his person, have that in mind.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Invites APC Senators To Villa Over Onnoghen’s Suspension by asfrank(m): 7:18am On Jan 28, 2019
izombie:
the intention was for the judiciary to be independent. That also goes for the president. Imagine a situation where saraki as the senate president suspends buhari without a 2/3rd majority of the senate. Why is this so hard for you people to understand? Buhari has trampled on our constitution. Without the constitution then when people commit crime and are arrested, then they will just be thrown in jail without going to court and trial.
what most of you are failing to understand is that judicial Independence or immunity doesn't mean a judge cannot be prosecuted while on seat. Judicial immunity covers only issues relating to the discharge of their statutory functions of adjudication, and interpretation of the law. Just like the legislature enjoy immunity while carrying out their statutory function of law making. I will ask you this question, How many times have you seen a Senator, House of Reps member or House of Assembly member press charges against a fellow member for assault, threat done to him or her while they are within the legislative chamber? the answer is it has never happened and will not. This principle applies to the Judiciary. Have you seen anyone arrest a judge or charge him to court because he jailed an innocent person? again their immunity is there to prevent the executive or legislature in melding into the process of adjudication. The executive do not decided when a judge will rule on a case, what his ruling will be, who to convict and who to set free, that is what judicial immunity means..World all over judges are arrested even in the UK, it has happened repeatedly.
