andrew444: Thank you for reminding me,Laporte of mancity deserved to be there ahead of Benjamin pavard of Stuttgart or kimpembe of psg who is a bench warmer ,Laporte was thinking of playing for Spain because he already have a Spanish passport, the French has snubbed him for long,he even taught a move to mancity could help him but not,Laporte still got no single cap, very surprising why do you think larport should be ahead of pavard? pavard is actually highly rated in Germany and France |

andrew444: All the strikers deserved to be there,if I am the coach lacazette will take giroud place because giroud was a bench warmer at Arsenal, the same lacazette bench him he joined Chelsea and managed 3 goals in 13 games still not better than lacazette,I feel for lacazette no major tournament for such a player at the age of 26.
Giroud is just there as an old timer and that's all.
The only player I am happy for is nzonzi the rest deserved so,but my lovely digne of Barca is not there but I am not surprised befause he is a bench warmer same thing goes to giroud but he is coach favorite . sometimes it is not all about club performance.. giroud plays very well for France and like someone said earlier offers a different approach |

TheSuperNerd: Loolll... A left back sef. I believe he is back up to Danny Rose. England even have three natural rightbacks and I ask... What for? Trent is there... Trippier is there... Even Walker (their first choice obviously). But Trent can play in right midfield too shaa.... The England side looks normal to me. Nothing spectacular even in their midfield. england have average players in the midfield and defence in recent times..dearth of talent |

Joebie: Siasia: Ambrose, Ajayi, Ejide Should’ve Been In World Cup Squad; Eagles Can’t Win Trophy
May 15, 2018 10:42 pm
By Richard Jideaka, Abuja: Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has expressed surprise at the exclusion of the duo of Ambrose Efe of Hibernian and Al Ahly’s Junior Ajayi as well as goalkeeper Austin Ejide from the 30-man provisional list for the Russia 2018 World Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Siasia told the media in Abuja on Tuesday that the coach Gernot Rohr has made his selection, and his choice of players for the World Cup should be respected because he is responsible for whatever result the team get in Russia.
“I think Efe’s experience and form for his Scottish side Hibernian is good enough to get him into the list, and he would be of immense help to the Super Eagles defence at the World Cup while Junior Ajayi would have added fire power to the Eagles attack, and should have been given the chance to prove himself,” Siasia, who starred for Nigeria at the World Cup in 1994, said.
“All the same, the coach knows what he is doing and has picked his team, we just have to support him for Nigeria to do well in Russia. We cannot win the World Cup but if we emerge from the group stage, our team can spring some surprises.”
Asked if the exclusion of Vincent Enyeama would be felt in the Eagles, Siasia’s answer was an emphatic no, stressing that the former captain of the Super Eagles was not keen to be part of the team and he has not been playing for his club Lille.
He said Ezenwa was number one during the qualifiers and should retain that role for World Cup. Siasia however wished that the coach had extended invitation to Austin Ejide for his experience and physicality.
--CSN smh..like who was even expecting that nigeria will even win world cup..what people are saying is a respectable performance |

SoNature: Uncle, relax.
1. Stop comparing states as there's no basis for that
2. While Ebonyi is developing, will Imo State be sleeping?
Again, stop comparing states.
Just focus on one and how to make it better.

Abagworo: The only advantage Ebonyi has over other States is solid roads. They are fortunately endowed with road work minerals and the Governor is using his own company BCC to do every road work thereby making things easier and cheaper. is this supposed to be an excuse? the quality of ebonyi road construction beats imo hands down no debate and with way ebonyi is going in the next ten yrs they would have better interconnectivity that imo |

Ofuzo: Why don't you guys create an ebonyi thread to showcase the developmental strides going on in the state. Don't do what anambra people did by abandoning your own thread instead of keeping it going like imo state and enugu state people did. I'm still waiting for abia people to start something, anything. I am from imo not ebonyi |

Ofuzo: If you had looked hard enough, you'd noticed that there is SCANT development everywhere in nigeria. Like I told you before, the only reason you are complaining about SCANT development in orlu is because there was development in owerri. What if you are from abia state, or anambra state or ebonyi state. You see, nnewi, which looks the same way it used to look fifteen years ago, are not complaining about everything being built in awka and not nnewi because nothing is being built in awka. Also, okigwe people are not here everyday whining about this and that. I don't told you several times to sue Okorocha, instead of coming here everyday to disturb our peace. I doubt you are abreast with infrastructure development in ebonyi |

Kog45: I remember metaljigsaw saying Lokosa deserved to be on the list but some waive it cos of home based tag, meaning good to be hardworking.
Oyekwuru the injury did not help the young man, still young, hope to see him in post WC.
Dele Aiyenugba, well Rohr already made up his mind on Uzoho, Akpeyi, Ezenwa and Ajiboye.
Kayode,i think is a lesson to our players to always look at their future before signing any contract, man city was a mistake.
Good list but Ajiboye, Eze,Lokosa,Agbo,Agu,and Nwankwo will need to work their socks off before they can make 23 man list. simy nwankwo and lokosa are the only out and out strikers there apart from ighalo..i wonder if rohr wants to pick 2 out and out strikers to the tournament |
