JaneYave: This language is unclergy- like. How could you call people 'shameless', I mean a whole ethnic group. If this is true then it is not good enough. Even if you think they are not united, encourage them. Disunity as an issue in Nigeria is not only evident in a tribe, it is of national magnitude. . He didn't display tact. however, he didn't call the whole ethnic group 'Shameless'. He referred to those who opposed others in the ethnic group publicly to the ridicule of the whole group. |

Amunaotutheory: I told you, Nigerians are so happy to watch their heads cut off with a blunt saw as long as everyone is on the same page with Igbo hate. One example is 2015, people took GEJ out because they felt he was too close to Igbo people but look at Nigeria today lol. Before 2014, agriculture was booming, people were traveling around the country even in the night , Inflation was low but they took him out. The people that took him out are destroying themselves with banditry while the rest are harvesting their people’s organs to be able to survive the hardship they inflicted on themselves. Nigerians from those parts of the country are shameless. Buhari's administration has essentially failed. However your arguments are faulty. Particularly the highlighted. The core Northerners (suffering Banditry) neither 'put' Goodluck there nor 'removed' him. They (Core Northerners) Voted the same way (Pattern) in 2011 as they did in 2015 — For Buhari. So they can't be said to have 'put' him there when they never voted him. The other Nigerians who you accused of removing Jonathan in 2015 for being too close to the Igbos. You forgot that these same people (Chiefly the SW) Voted massively for GEJ in 2011 especially in Lagos. So then he wasn't close to the Igbos right? GEJ is no Saint. Compared to this government he looks good (hence the nostalgia) However, He should ask why people who Voted for him massively in 2011 turned against him in 2015. |

thesicilian: UK and US are the real snakes here. Instead of encouraging peaceful negotiation they're quietly arming Ukraine to fight a war they have no chance of winning. Even if Ukraine eventually wins the war the casualties and property destruction won't be worth it. The UK and US will now step in with high interest loans to help rebuild Ukraine while becoming perpetually indebted to them. Either way, Ukraine is still never going to be a truly free nation.
I personally would have just preferred to be indebted to Russia without the loss of lives and heavy loans that will follow. War is bad. Peace is priceless. But make no mistakes, Ukraine CAN rise out of it ashes with a determined people. Debt nonetheless. Could you tell me how Germany (for instance) rose from the doldrums of war in the 1940s to the highest net exporter in Europe in the 2000s within 60 years? Outdoing even those who didn't have a war? 'No chance winning'? Tell that to the Afghanistans in 1979 against Russia. You also forget that if Russia stops fighting today, the War stops. But the same can't be said for Ukraine. |

The rule is that any business or organisation that ask for money to get back double in a short period of time or says you should bring one person that will bring one person is a piramid ponzi scam that would eventually run away with the whole funds!!!! know this and have peace of mind You're right. As for the loses it is bound to happen but go and check most weapon Russia has lost were disposable weapon not even near the best of their armament. The MOSKVA that was lost was due for retirement but since new cruiser is under construction/refurbishment it has to continue to serve, for the past 10 years it has not been deployed beyong it's natural zone which tells you the situation of things with her. And the only useful thing on her was her big radars other things are as good as nearly useless. Why didn't ukrain strike those coveat that were hauling missiles at it if it really intended to cause damage?? So you're suggesting that Russia invaded Ukraine with disposable weapons — putting the lives of their soldiers at risk (fatal) just to save the 'mordern' weapons back in Russia? Wow! |

A fool and his money will surely depart sooner than later! You should read the comment I was replying. By the way, 'reputable' goods & services companies can become ponzi schemes too. Chinmark group for instance does 'real businesses ' too. You can be scammed by listed companies too. Go read about Peter Ololo & his play in the Nigerian capital market. My point is that the model of these cooperatives isn't fraudulent (our forefathers have had cooperatives from time immemorial) it is the fraudulent people & false claims of 'juicy' returns that are to blame. |

Nigerialabalaba: abegi joor. SEC don say make people check with dem first before putting money for any investment. All dos companies no be dis yeye ponzi SEC is nice but sorry to say, it is not fool proof. Do you know who Albert Okumagba (+) was? He was a former President of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria. He was also the MD/CEO of Bgl securities. So we can say he was the establishment (or part) of the investment community in Nigeria. Why was he ousted as CIS president and why does BGL no longer operate today? Largely investment fraud. Even in the US, Bernie Madoff use to host SEC executives to dinners. Don't get me started with Peter Okolo and the likes that defrauded several Investors — all under the nose of SEC. Am I saying SEC is bad? No! I am just admonishing these business guys to be more Trust worthy. If I can't invest in my family/friends who I know directly or through a trusted friend's referral then such a country is doomed. Great Investments aren't always a (suit & tie) all formal endeavor, they are also borne out of trust. SEC or no SEC. May God help us. |

Nobody will go n work n bring money for u,use your head People actually work for investors & bring money back — while they themselves are being rewarded — without stepping foot at those companies. Most commercial banks, Dangote, MTN, BUA foods etc all have investors who put their money in them and earn dividends periodically. Even cooperatives like REI co-op exist in the US. A few Real Estate Investment trusts exist in Nigeria e.g. UPDC. The model is not the problem here. it's our corrupt tendencies at play so don't judge a concept by its flawed application. Most Nigerians — especially the Business class lack integy. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Mention The Worst Company To Work For In Nigeria, & Give Reasons. by Asour: 2:47pm On Apr 06, 2022 |
Saladdin: Op, the worst companies to work for are Asian companies especially Indian, Lebanese and Chinese companies.
Most have faulty structures, no clear career growth plan, high rate of nepotism, Ageism, meager salary and stunted promotion. Examples of those Asian Huawei Technologies Lagos, Daraju Industries Ibadan, Sumal Foods Ibadan, Gongoni Company Kano, Multipro Kano, Yale Food, Ibadan, Sinoma International, Lagos.
For Indigenous Companies, avoid the likes Glo, Dangote, Saroafrica, DISCOs, GNLD & Co, Insurance companies, Most consulting companies, Contract Staff in Nigerian Banks-In short, stay away from Nigerian Banks, One-man businesses with no concrete structure (will keep mentioning as they come). Though some pay well by Nigerian standards, but they are filled with nepotism, toxic work culture, high staff turnover and will work you like a horse, compromising your health, sanity and little to show for at the end of the day. Don't let sleek suits, perfumes and decorated offices deceive you, a golden handcuff is still a handcuff!
I'll only advise shipping companies, American and European companies in any sector, Oil Companies (Downstream), IT companies, INGOs and if you are ambitious and daring, you can consider working for startups with a clear-cut structure and a promising future (no matter how small they are at first).
Keep mentioning their names and save Nigerian youths from slavery! Work for those useless Asian and toxic indigenous companies at your own peril! You've almost exhausted all Nigerian companies with your desist list. People may not have choices though, realize that. |
