'Polytechnic' doesn't always mean what you think it means.

Many Polytechnics abroad grant Bachelors & Masters degrees from US to Europe.

Schools like EPFL Switzerland, the Ecole Polytechniques in France and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (USA) are (by name) Polytechnics BUT are all better than ALL Nigerian institutions by many measures.

First, if you are not business inclined, DON'T do any business, just stick to your job. But if you are business inclined, travel round, make thorough investigations (if possible, do boy-boy [internship] in the business market), then invest in the business. (I'll advise food or electronic business sha)

Second, avoid investing any amount in naira in any financial institution in Nigeria because naira loses value super fast these days of Buhari. Instead, you may invest your brother's 6m in buying US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, and Chinese Yuan because these are stable currencies that doesn't lose value sharply like naira does. You can do this ONLY through a Nigerian bank. NEVER visit a bureau de change cuz they may give you fake or expired currencies (Yes, currencies do expire, especially Western currencies). Open the different accounts and keep the currencies in them.
Or you could buy solid minerals like gold, diamonds, etc and keep them WITH your bank. You may ask your bank for advise about this. But NEVER hold any currency investment in Naira, or any other unstable currency.

Third, IF (and only if) you have interest in migration, and age is on your side, you can migrate to any economically growing Western country (North America or Western Europe). With 8m, you should migrate now before naira falls further. You can go further studies or for migration proper.

It's statistically not true that people who did not go to university are more successful than those who did.

Even today, graduating with a Bsc provides the most guaranteed path to economic liberation.
Note that 'most guaranteed' does not mean perfect. It means increased or higher likelihood.

The uneducated 'Rich' you see are outliers.
Even in their companies many graduates outnumber them doing ok.

This is why i'm willing to work hard and go on scholarship at least one that covers tuition... Which masters program do you think will put me on track to achieve my career goals ?

Again it depends.

A good start to getting a masters scholarship is to get a good GRE result. Combining this with a good first degree (High 2:1) & a convincing motivation letter + research interests topics can land you a good masters in your related fields.

If you want an interdisciplinary masters (i.e. move away from your UG field), then Finance & IT are good options.

In Europe, check HSE university, Moscow, Polish universities also give scholarships & German schools are quite cheap but require funds in lien for studies to be approved.

I've heard about CFA but i have some concerns. I only want to do my masters abroad and if possible through scholarship as i am ready to put in the work. Please what is the possibility of doing my CFA fulltime in canada on scholarship? since CFA is not like a masters degree. I do not intend to remain abroad after my program. The CFA almost never grants scholarships.
It is a US professional finance certification.

The best I know of is that if you do your masters (in Finance) in a CFA partner institution (like the HSE university, Moscow, Russia), you can get some exemptions (in exams) & thus can finish your CFA quicker than a regular student.

Note that the CFA is quite an expensive (& demanding) certification. It's not just a walk in the park. Each level typically requires about 300 studying hours. There are about 3 (increasingly tough)levels.

You could consider the CIIA (Certified institute of Investment Analyst) too. It's essentially a swiss finance certification. A direct European equivalent to the CFA. It's not as reputable in the USA or globally as the CFA though. But it's great.

Masters is a great option too, if you're not fixated on the US & North America, consider lesser known countries (schools) like Switzerland, Russia, Belgium , Germany & Austria too. Fish for good schools like :
ETH Zurich, USI, Lugano or University of Geneva, HSE University, Moscow, St Petersburg state University, KU Leuven, TU Munich or TU Wien.

I myself plan setting out on a masters in any of these.

Always prioritize the substance of the course you're studying. You want something employable & rich.

In 2017 , sadly, he kicked the bucket and guess who replaced him at the Nigerian Senate? His brother , Ademola Adeleke, who will be contesting to become Governor of Osun later this year. Why are the Tinubus, Desmond Eliots, newcomers like Sanwo Olu the ones that the Macaronis of Nigeria criticize?

Like Buhari, Ademola Adeleke's WAEC certificate is questionable and has gone to the court. Why do the Macaronis of Nigeria drag Buhari and not Davido's Uncle for a not having the basic educational qualification but is an elected representative?

I rarely if ever borrow. I am also totally against chronic debtors. Never borrowed from a loan company too.
Whatever terms and conditions should be invalid if they are obnoxious to basic decency and or existing laws of the country including basic Data privacy regulations.

Some(Not all) of these guys are loan sharks. Operating largely in an unregulated manner with little room for appropriate dispute resolution.

Another question is what truly are the credit assessment measures by these companies before making these loans to 'chronic debtors'. If you keep giving credit to chronic debtors, your systems call for concerns too.


And this should be a call to Order to those who tend to borrow to please others.

I would not say I don't have reservations for his plans. But they are his.

You however, are missing a key point.
She probably pays for house rent where she is now. Or will most likely pay soon.
If it's a place like Lagos or PHC or even Abuja, that takes at least 200k+ from her. Never mind furnishings.

With his plans, she is saved from all that & the 200k covers her required contributions.

On the other hand, he should know many women aren't 'wired' to shoulder financial responsibilities.
