^^^ the width of a stairway is supposed to be 4 feet wide and the lenght will depend on the plans of the house. I also like to create landing steps wide enough for two people to pass each other on the stairs with loads if possible. This is very essential especially in emergency situations.

You seem to be a silent sufferer, and i think you and your wife are not having a good enough communication or else, she (no matter her age) should have understood you well enough.
Why don't you talk this thing with her, let her know your concerns, your displeasures and opinions about things regarding these issues.

The issues were caused because of lack of communication between the 2 of u.

The problem isI like my space and don't like people too clingy. I like to do things by myself. I really don't need a guy around except for se.x, as i don't self service.

Two issues that you need to deal with:

1. When you are in a relationship YOUR SPACE must be invaded at one point or the other so be ready for more rude surprises. By the time you start having babies then all your SPACE will be fully invaded if not totally destroyed!

2. Se.x was designed by God for ONLY MARRIED people any other usage brings distrust and eventually heartaches.

Though I am a man but I cook well although my wife is a "superhero" in the kitchen.

Depending on what I am doing in the kitchen, for example if I am washing plate i don't stay long but if assisting her to prepare food; I spend long time of course.

In order to encourage more people to go into farming govrnment has designated certain large expanse of land as farmland eg outskirt of Abuja and sold/allocated Hectares to people who claimed they wanted to farm. these folks bought the land quite cheap some buying as much as 50 hectares. Trust Nigerians they have now cut up these land into standard plots and are now selling them at huge profits to unsuspecting folks who are building residential houses.

The danger here is an El-Rufai may wake up in future and revoke those land since they are not being used for the designated purpose.

There are strong indications that this roofing will commence by this week. My client called me and wants us to finish the job by fixing aluminum sheets on the completed wood work. He is yet to decide on the colour of roof, but as soon as he does, we can start this week.

What a Pity for Africa. You can only reap what you sow.The continent with the least investment in human capital can only reap confusion and stagnation. The main reason that our third world peers like South Korea, Malaysia, Brazil , India and others are light years ahead of us in economic progress is simply because these same nations have been investing greatly in the development of human capital over past 4 decades, while , we on other hand, have jostling and scrampling to get a piece of the so-called national cake.
Our wealthy elites are still not investing in human capital, rather, they building private universities for pure profit. With the high poverty rate in Nigeria,How many many average Nigerian parents can afford to send their Children to these mushrooming private Universities? The gap between the rich and the poor will continue to widen.
When will the leaders and wealthy elites begin to invest in human capital? It is the only thing that can save us.
