Thousands of IPOB members held a massive rally in Brazil yesterday in support of IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They also showed support for Oduduwa Republic. Pictures are below

Coldshisha:Well your federal government owns far more than that but couldn't change the peoples minds about Kanu |
Look, why are we talking about banditry and killings in the North? The President is a Northerner, but his priority is Kanu and Igboho, who are Southerners. It shows that the insecurity in the North isn't really priority. |
IPOB to storm British Embassy in Dublin on 15th July to protest for Nnamdi Kanu
|
42 people killed? I thought Igboho and Kanu are the main problem of the North? |
Wike will pay dearly for Obigbo The ancestral name of the place is Obigbo, Oyigbo is just a name imposed on the place in 1976 when it was carved out of Imo state and lumped into Rivers state |
Fahdiga:No, ISWAP is controlling Katsina, its not good for Protest |
The international protest for Nnamdi Kanu's release hits Washington, USA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mibe8IIF1kA

Lovely |
Kaiser20:What has all this got to do with his followers showing him support through public protest? |
A large crowd of IPOB are currently heading to the Kenyan Embassy in Berlin, Germany, to stage protest. Boys are not smiling at all Screen shots from live feed
|
Unik3030:Hypocrisy. Had these people not come out to show support for Kanu, it would have been people like you who would have ran to social media to say nobody cares about Kanu because there was no protest Now that they have come out for Kanu, you have come to ask useless questions Mtcheeeew |
DeltaFire:Dey there, protesters are already gathering on the streets of Berlin
|
Unik3030:Germany is an advanced country that allows and protects freedom of protest Nigeria is a backward country that shoots people just for protesting Those who are fortunate to live in civilised countries like Germany, where human rights are respected, will be protesting |
Pursuant to yesterday's protest against the arrest of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, in Canada, Biafrans plan to stage another one in the German capital city of Berlin today. The protesters will march to the Kenyan Embassy as well as the British consulate. Similar protests are being planned in major cities all over the world

OmoOgunOriginal:It remains to be seen what can be proved in court since it wont matter what you and I or any other person thinks The case against Kanu is very weak |
DeltaFire:Thats not how the law works. Is someone commits a crime, and you try to connect it to someone outside the country at the time the crime was commited, you will have to show how you communicated with the person who was outside the country. Without showing how a person outside the country communicated to you to commit a crime, there is no case |
I often agree with Reno but on this one, he got it wrong. Kanu dissolved the UK branch of IPOB after having a meeting with them, and finding them wanting. Its his organisation, he can dissolve any branch. So whats the problem with that? Kanu has since reinstated the IPOB UK branch So why did Reno resurrect an old matter that has been resolved, if not to cause trouble? Then Reno said that Kanu said that any Igbo man who attends a church Pastored by a Yoruba man, is an idiot. That video is over seven years old and Kanu has since explained that they cut out the rest of what he said that Yoruba Pastors who could not convert many of the Yoruba muslims, to Christians, should not Pastor Igbos Reno is acting like he just heard of Kanu, resurrecting old issues that have long been resolved The problem is that Kanu's supporters are going to see him as a troublemaker and bash him for it. |
Notherners got together and placed N100M on Nnamdi Kanu's head. There is no IPOB activity in the North. Yet the same Northerners have never come together to put one Kobo on Shekau's head in the 10 years Boko haram have been killing, decimating communities, raping and kidnapping, all in the North Why would a Northerner be so concerned about Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, but is far less concerned about Shekau and Boko haram that are in the North? Can someone explain this to me? |
The Federal Governments case against IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is already very weak even before it started. Most of the things Kanu will be charged with are things that happened when he was not even in the country. This means that Kanu did not directly commit them, so the prosecution will have to link him indirectly to the crimes. Lets say someone went and burnt a Police Station, and Nnamdi Kanu is blamed for sending the person. Kanu's Lawyer is going ask how Kanu in London sent him to burn the station in Nigeria. If the suspect says he was instructed on Radio Biafra, the case is dead because Kanu never spoke to him directly. If the Person says another person close to Kanu, sent him, Kanu will deny the person. If he says he spoke to Kanu directly, unless he saved the discussion, the case is dead. And even if he saved the discussion, it had better be in a format that clearly identifies Kanu. Trying to prove that someone in a faraway country did something elsewhere, is very difficult at best of times, unless you have hard irrefutable evidence. All I see the federal government has so far is hearsay. |
Friend22:Twonof Britain's largest media houses have already reported on Kanu's arrest
|
G450:The whole thing was made up by DSS |
Nigeria’s government illegally detained and repatriated Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of a separatist movement active in the country’s southeastern region, according to his U.S. lobbyists. BW Global Group LLC said it’s confident that Kanu, who heads the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, was captured in another county “via an unlawful rendition by the Nigerian security forces.” Kanu hired the firm in March to advocate for his secessionist group within the U.S. Department of State and Congress. Kanu, who fled Nigeria in 2017 while on trial for treason, resurfaced in the country on June 27 and appeared before a federal court in the capital, Abuja, two days later where his court case was adjourned for a month. The IPOB leader was “intercepted through the collaborative efforts of the Nigerian intelligence and security services,” Attorney General Abubakar Malami said on June 29 without providing any further information about how or where he was seized. BW Global, which didn’t specify where they understand Nigerian forces caught Kanu, said his unlawful rendition “would violate international law.” A complaint about the treatment of Kanu, a dual Nigerian-British citizen, has been made to the U.K. High Commission in Abuja, the Washington-based company said by email on Thursday. The High Commission said Kanu wasn’t arrested in or extradited from the U.K. and it was seeking clarification about the circumstances of his detention from the Nigerian government. The U.K. would expect any trial or legal proceedings to follow due process, it said. Kanu has been denied access to legal representation and is currently in the custody of Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services, his lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor said by phone on Friday. The arrest warrant for Kanu was “lawfully and judiciously procured” from the court after he breached its bail conditions “with impunity,” Umar Gwandu, the attorney general’s spokesman, said by text message. He declined to respond to questions about the circumstances of the IPOB leader’s return to Nigeria. Kanu has been represented by a lawyer throughout the judicial process, Gwandu said. Nigeria’s government declared IPOB a terrorist group in 2017 and has blamed recent attacks targeting security agents in southeastern Nigeria on the group’s armed wing. Malami has accused Kanu of inciting deadly violence against personnel of the Nigerian state while based abroad. — With assistance by David Herbling https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-07-02/nigeria-secessionist-leader-illegally-repatriated-lobbyists-say?utm_content=business&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_source=url_link&cmpid=socialflow-twitter-business&utm_medium=social |
Built2last:Nobody knows where he was arrested, I have heard the names of every country under the sun |
FreeIgbos:Buhari made a Rockstar out of Nnamdi Kanu, now he is set to make Nnamdi Kanu an international Rockstar ![]() |
DeltaFire:Well now that Kanu has been arrested, you can finally find something worthwhile to do with your life. |
Britains biggest and most widely read Newspaper, The Sun, as well as media giant, BBC, have both carried the story of the arrest of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Nnamdi Kanu gained national attention when he was arrested by the Buhari regime in 2015. He was later released and left the country after a military invasion of his house in 2017. It seems he is now set to get an even bigger international attention with his second arrest.

tiger28:That means they should bring the evidence to court. As far as we know, IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu have always maintained that they are not responsible for killing anyone. So if they have any evidence, let them feel free to bring it out. But if it is only hearsay and speculation they have, they have nothing |
BJanta:Trust me, if the federal government sends Soldiers to your house to kill you for no reason, you would jump bail too Dead men dont go to court |
Proffdada:So if you were the prosecutor and the judge told you to show proof that did anything, you will bring a message written on facebook or twitter? The judge will throw the case out |
DubaiLandLord:Not unless you can prove it was his men that did it, and on his orders |
