He has no facts just idealism and is self opinionated and lacks clear plan

Someone who can't clearly state how igbos are marginalized , or his plans for Biafra or what Biafra will offer differently this guys has not said shit

He only works on the brain of hate filled individuals
If you come with this to debate Kanu you will fall flat on your face because the answer to all you asked can be answered in two words, self determination.

There are two types of Nigerians. The ones who accept "Northern controlled Nigeria" and the ones who do not.

The former are the ones who shout 'the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable!', 'we are all one', 'we have no other country but Nigeria', 'we will go to war to keep Nigeria united'

The are people who have accepted their slave status

The latter, those who reject Northern domination, they are the ones who say 'self determination is a right, 'give us referendum', 'Nigeria is a prison'.

Nice one by Annkio Briggs. Its good to hear from a non slave from time to time
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu And His Agitations... Pros And Cons by attackgat: 8:58pm On Jul 23, 2017
Nnamdi Kanu has not done anything to breach public peace. What he is calling for is referendum so that people can decide what the want. It is only 'one Nigeria' apologist who talk about what.

Did Czecholovakia have to go to war to break up? Did USSR have to go to war to break up?

Did Scotland have to go to war to get a referendum in 2014?

Did Britain have to go to war to leave the European Union?

The people who dont want peace are those who say "Nigeria must be together by force"

Why? Why must Nigeria be together? Why must a colonial contraption created in 1914 be held together by force of arms?

As long as people are held against their will, there can never be peace

The IPOB miscreants are so irritating. Here are some of their ugly characteristics -
1. They dont hesitate to engage in throwing insults at anybody that has a contrary opinion to theirs.
2. They follow Nnamdi Kanu like zombie.
3. They major in cheast beating and minor in humility.
4. They hardly present convincing points during argument.
5. Hate is their second name. For example Nnamdi Hate Kanu.
6. Their mumu rings quite high. For example, they went jubilating on the streets when Trump won his election with the hope that Trump will give them Biafra.
7. Anybody who opens thread criticising them is Afonja including those of us who are Igbo. These guys are pathetic.

I feel bad when other tribes address this miscreants as if they represent Igbos. They are a gang of incorrigible touts they are not a tribe. People should stop addressing them as a tribe. It gives them a false sense of being large. They are simply called ipob.

Why is the IPOB celebrating the victory of Makarfi @ the Supreme Court?
When did IPOB celebrate the victory of Markafi? Can you show us videos or pictures where they did this? What connection can IPOB have with a Nortern politician like Markafi?

Is IPOB part of PDP? Or is Makarfi now an Easterner? Is he not of the same Northern extraction that IPOB has been fighting and complaining about?
You are asking and answering your own questions like a confused human being. How can IPOB be with PDP when IPOB wants total election boycott in the SE/SS area starting with Anambra?

Why is the Southern PDP doing the same thing they accused Amaechi of doing by working for the Hausa/Fulani in order to make them President? Ha ha ha!

Why is Gov Wike now so desperate in establishing a cordial relationship with the Northerners?

Why is Ike Ekweremadu scheming to become Senate President in 2019 instead of demanding for a Biafra Republic as he is one of the major sponsors of IPOB agitation? Did the need for restructuring die on the day the Supreme Court delivered its judgement?

Why is Gov Wike scheming to be Vice President come 2019 with heavy financial commitments, the same thing he shouted everywhere about and accused Amaechi of doing in the past?

Is it not obvious now that all these nonsense noise of IPOB is political and not truly for actualisation of Biafra? Chei! Na wa.

So after all, all the noise from the PDP leadership in the South South and South East against the Northern part of Nigeria, is all political? Unbelievable.

Can we survive another civil war?
Wrong question. We should be asking why we even need to fight at all? We didnt even need to fight the first time. Nigeria is but a colonial creation so why are we fighting each other over the creation of the white man when there is referendum? The answer is that some people want to enslave others.

Will disintegration solve our many problems?
Unity has not solved our problems so why not give disintegration a try? It worked for Czechoslovakia and USSR

Does the 1999 constitution permit the current agitations by IPOB and MASSOB?
Yes it does. Chapter 4 of the constitution allows freedom of movement, expression, speech and belief

What does the Igbo Nation really want?
Igbos want the return of their sovereignty that was officially stolen in 1914 in other to create Nigeria

What lessons have we learnt from the last civil war?
That Nigeria is a disasterous colonial experiment that can never work

Why were there no agitations during Goodluck Jonathan’ s Presidency?
There were agitations during Jonathans Presidency and even further back during Obasunjos tenure. MASSOB was fully on the ground.

[Every reader will provide different answers to the above questions but one thing is clear- WE NEED A COUNTRY WHERE OUR INTERESTS ARE EQUALLY REPRESENTED
Of course we do, but that country is not Nigeria.

If we want this agitations that threatens our unity and freedom to go, we need all these and more:
1.RESOURCE CONTROL-

2.RESTRUCTURING-

3.CONSTITUTION AMENDMENT-

4.IGBO PRESIDENCY-

5.NATIONAL CONFERENCE-
All these points are 'Southern Nigeria Agenda'. The vast majority of the North does not want it. People dont seem to understand that a restructured Nigeria makes no sense to the North. A restructured Nigeria takes away the essence of why the core North is part of Nigeria, the political and economic domination of everyone through a unitary system. The North will never allow an inch of Nigeria to be restructured and anyone who thinks so is ignorant. The question I always ask those who are shouting restructuring is, 'If the North never allows restructuring what will you do?'

NIGERIA BELONGS TO ALL

WE CAN NOT SURVIVE ANOTHER CIVIL WAR
www.afonjaman.com
Nigeria belongs to a section of the country, it always has. If Nigeria belonged to us all, nobody would be begging for restructuring

Anambra cannot be seen as a referendum on Biafra, Anambra is just one state. The referendum on Biafra was on the 30th when the entire SE and parts of the SS was shut down

Hopefully, the Anambra election boycott, if sucessful, will be the start of a political revolution
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu's Biafra Vs Nnamdi Kanu's Biafra ( Spot The Difference ) by attackgat:
Any fool out there knows that Ojukwus approach to Biafra cannot be Kanu's approach to Biafra. Ojukwu and Kanu are from different eras.

Ojukwu already held power as Governor of the Eastern Region and could declare Biafra effectively. Kanu on the other hand, does not hold that sort of power.

Another real difference between Ojukwus time and Kanu's time is that Ojukwu was under military rule while Kanu is under democracy. Thats why Ojukwu had to fight a war while Kanu does not need to fight.

When it comes to the issue sovereighty of people, the elite do not matter. What matters is what the majority of the people want, wether they be street touts or priviledged. Kanu wants a referendum for an area that compromises of the old Eastern Region and Delta state. I have never seen these people protesting their love of Nigeria on the streets. If any of the ethnic groups feel more comfortable with Nigeria, they should vote to remain in Nigeria while those who wish to go can go.

This was done in 1961 when British Cameroon voted in a referendum. South British Cameroon voted to join Republic of Cameroon while the North voted to join Nigeria. There was no issue of consulting or if the elite were involved, it was a matter of democracy, what the majority in a given area want.

In terms of Kanu asking the people of Anambra to bocott elections, he is entitled to do that. Anybody can ask the people of Anambra to boycott elections. It is left for the people of Anambra to heed the call or reject it. This again is democracy, allowing the people to choose. Everything about Kanu and IPOB agitation is democratic because no one us being forced to do anything.

Nigeria however is not democratic. It is Nigeria that will be telling everyone that nobody has a choice to choose if they want to be Nigerian or not.

It is this right for one to choose their own destiny is why Kanu will always be ahead of Nigeria

This is really bad. Over 1 million Igbos and their ancestral lands were carved into Benue state just to make up the population of a Senatorial zone when they should have been put with their kith and kin in Ebonyi in Ebonyi state.

This is how they put Igbanke in Edo state when Igbanke should have been with their fellow Ika-Igbos in Delta state.

Ok no problem, a day of reckoning is coming when this evil division of Igbo land by Nigeria will end once and for all.

Im not sure if Nnamdi Kanu ever said he was offered 5 states. These days, so much nonsense is written by people who have never met Kanu which makes me only believe what I see on video or what the Radio Biafra or IPOB spokesman says.

However, if it is true that Kanu was offered 5 states, he was right to reject it because has never been about 5 states or just Igbos

Biafra is the SE/SS and the lower Venue minus Edo state.

Just Benue state has over one million indigenous Igbos carved into the state

PoliticsRe: Secession A Threat To Nigeria's Democracy And A Temporary Solution To Nigeria' by attackgat: 8:47am On Jul 20, 2017
Ajiboye2000:
SECESSION A THREAT TO NIGERIA'S DEMOCRACY AND A TEMPORARY SOLUTION TO NIGERIA'S PROBLEM.
There has been lot of aspirations by different Groups in the country for secession most especially in the South East generally the Igbo Ethnic Group. Many are actually advocating for division of the country regionally and geographically for autonomy and self government.
As Nigeria's democracy is concerned, Secession is a threat on it. The rule and principle democracy is against any form of secession or break up. It makes me laugh a lot when I hear or read about the advocation of Nigeria's breakup because if the country is been divided each Segments will suffer in one aspect/sector or the other.
For instance, not all regions are endowed or blessed equally but each has her own comparative advantage over others. The region that lacks one thing must suffer.
From my own personal view, it is not that I am against Nigeria break up but it will only give a temporary solution to the country's problem while lasting/permanent solution should be aimed at. For truth sake, there is what will refer to as discrimination, political domination and ethnicity in the country from the realistic view.
Division of the country is not the best thing ever to think of due to it future regret and consequences. To some extent, I do admit that there is domination politically by some ethnic group. Another major issue is the ineffectiveness and inefficiency of the Federal Character Commission. I do believe the commission is no more independent and autonomous but politically manipulated and influenced. we can't see things that are been expected from them in their operations.
I am hereby appealing to the faithful Nigerians to be confidential in oneness and unity so as to move the country forward.
"Secession is not a lasting solution to Nigeria problem" let always hammer this quote on the hears of Nigerians. If we can neglect Racial Discrimination, Ethnicity and Religion differences but advocate for unity under an umbrella for a better Nigeria.
To make Nigeria one is a task that must be done. I am advising the Federal Government of Nigeria under the Sole administration of President Muhammed Buhari to send delegates and representatives to the grass root level to seek the opinion and consent of the mass. The people are ready to express their feelings i.e public opinion should be sought for.
Thanks, I remain Oluwatosin Oyewole Ajiboye.
Nigeria is the mere colonial creation of the white man so lets stop pretending that it is our country

Before the white man came, what was your country?

The issue here is that some ethnic groups have never liked the way Lugard lumped them in Nigeria and have been agitating for a long time to get out.

Those ethnic groups should be allowed to go their way because ONE NIGERIA is choking them.

iamexcelblog:
Honestly though it pains me to write this, my hands are off the struggle because it has become obvious to me that the Leadership of the struggle is nothing but Power Hungry Fraudsters who just wants to grab power and cause mayhem. I still stand on my dream of always defending the Igbo nation and interest when the need be.

I really do love Igbo people and I love my state Anambra a lot. We have been deprived of a whole lot since independence and I really do wish the marginalisation would stop. But violence is not the way. Even if we must pull out of the union, it must be devoid of insults and hatred because we may need each other eventually even as separate countries.

But Owing to my conversation with some IPOB members and getting very close to them, its obvious these people are charlatans who don't have anything upstairs to offer. I mean, all they want is just revenge and violence. You can't be preaching to people about the wickedness of the Nigerian government and yet don't allow people to vote.

I thought Nnamdi Kanu and his group would have been going about peacefully to preach to people on why they shouldn't vote. But what I hear from some of them is that "They will kill anybody that comes out to vote that day". Is that not an authoritarian style of rule? Where one becomes a mafia to step on people's toes? How free is that freedom? Why tell people not to exercise their freedom?

Honestly, Anambra has come too far to hand over power to Charlatans and touts. I can no longer watch and see my region destabilised. We should engage the Nigerian state more for more meaningful developments. Obiano may not be the best but he really tried. I think he deserves a second chance. People should be allowed to decide whether they want to vote him or not.
My friend go and sit down. Where have you read that IPOB touched anybody?

The 30th of May sit at home is even bigger than the Anambra elections and IPOB did not have to use violence to get the masses to sit at home.

It is now a smaller issue like Anambra elections that IPOB needs violence.

IPOB are doing the right thing. IPOB cannot be participating or encouraging anyone to participate in the politics of the same country they are trying to get out of.

Having lived in Benue at some point, I saw no connection between tribes (Tiv, Igede, Idoma) in Benue with the Igbos, I stand to be corrected though.
