Maduawuchukwu: So what is your solution? That we should be leaderless? No matter what happens a governor will emerge. Just pray that it is not the APC or you guys are goners. A Governor emerging is not the issue. Just Obianos staff are enough to elect him if no one comes out to vote. The aim of the boycott is to get the people of old Eastern Nigeria to turn their backs on the politics of Nigeria When majority of people dont vote in elections, it is a strong indicator to everyone that they have rejected the system and country they belong to |

Politics › Re: Apga Vs. Ipob - Who Wins Anambra Come November 2017? by attackgat: 10:54pm On Jul 19, 2017 |
ofai: Anambra citizens are in dilemma as to who they follow come November 2017. APGA being a political party in nigeria has its base located in anambra while other states like Abia also has an impressive apga base. APGAs mission in Anambra is simple - win every election poll.
IPOB is a separatist movement which enjoys strong followership in SE/SS states. its mission in anambra is not that simple - boycott all election until the Nigerian constitution is reviewed for a referendum clause for every ethnic nationality.
time will tell who blinks first - APGA or IPOB.
APGA Victory in HIGH ELECTION POLL TURN OUT will be a victory for pro Nigerians, while IPOB victory in ELECTION BOYCOTT will be seen as a victory for pro biafrans.
NOVEMBER election in anambra will be a major litmus test for the two groups.
No Violence. Just two different civil demonstrations in action.
We are watching. As an Anambra man and Biafran supporter, I think that APGA still stands a good chance for 3 reasons Power of incumbecy PDP and APC are weak in Anambra APGA has done relatively well However, the boycott is not about kicking APGA out or influencing the outcome of the election. IPOB does not care who the Governor of Anambra is. If 5,000 prople re-elect Obiano as Governor, it will be victory for both APGA and IPOB. It will show that IPOB got the vast majority of the people to turn their backs on elections of Nigeria which is what election boycott is about. If IPOB can pull this off, then they can start a political revolution that my see the entire SE/SS and maybe even other regions boycott all future elections in Nigeria until a referendum is on the table |

We must choose our leaders no matter our system and we do it by voting. The people of Anambra should go and liberate their state by voting. You have been choosing leaders since 1960, where is Nigeria today? Im all for election boycott |

If Britain that created Nigeria could give one of its areas, Northern Ireland, a referendum in 1973
If Britain that created Nigeria could give Scotland that has been part of it for over 300 years, a referendum in 2014
Then Nigeria has no argument in allowing any region a referendum on independence |

oluFELAxy: With the government and calibre of leaders we have today, if Nigeria breaks, don't you think all the different regions/arms/country will still remain like this. Will the disintegration stop the unserious attitude of leaders? Or will it stop them from being corrupt? Or what do you think will be the benefit? If Nigeria disintegrates, how many countries will come out of it? The only serious agitation is Biafra. Should Biafra get independence as the presebt SE/SS, it is most like likely there will be a sovereign national conference where the indigenous ethnic groups will come together to create a viable constitution. Biafra is most likely going to be a confederation. I think that Biafra is most likely going to be a confederation of Regions: Efik/Ibibio Igbo Ijaw/Edoid Ogoja With a weak centre and every Region controlling their resources and adhereing to fiscal federalism, I dont see why Biafra wont be a success. |

Let people go out and vote . This is democracy. And if kanu and his Ipob bandits tries to violently boycott the election, then let martial law be declared in the state by the FG . Even kanu will run back to London I dont know what people like you are yapping about when Kanu simply asked people to stay indoors on election day like they did on May 30th? How can IPOB, Kanu or Biafran supporters be disrupting elections if they are all in their bedrooms on election day? |

U all will feel the heat. All ur boycotts does not affect Nigeria financially or in any other war. It's like a waste of time. U don't know the government u are dealing with Thats good. At least Nigerians wont decieve themselves as to why Nigeria does not work. With more agitations expected from the minorities, the middle belt and peharps from the west, we shall see how long it is before Nigeria collapses. |

victorvezx: After boycotting elections and telling Nigeria u don't want any part of it, what next? Because Nigeria can easily install a sole administrator and u will still remain where u are. U will do nothing and the world won't do anything, IPOB does not care if Obiano wins or if Alex Ekubo is appointed Anambra sole administrator. What IPOB cares about is a successful election boycott on the level of its successful sit at home order. Eventually , total election boycott, constant demonstrations, civil disobedience etc will force Nigeria to give IPOB a referendum. If Nigeria refuses to give referendum, everybody will keep feeling the heat until they agree. IPOB is in this for the long term |

Nigeria is the creation of colonialists. You dont get a country by forcing people together. Warship: Knowing ones right to self determination and sovereignty is not sufficient enough to prepare them to contribute to the development of Biafra
Empowering them with Technological Education while teaching them about Self Determination will enable them to contribute their quota to the development of Biafra If Biafra is not achieved, then what is the point of any technological education? It is not the job of IPOB to teach the younger ones technology, IPOB is not a government. It is simply a freedom fighting organisation. IPOB's job is to get Biafra, what happens after that is up to Biafrans |
Politics › Re: Why Biafra Never Won The War.... And Why It Can Never Win A War by attackgat: 9:45pm On Jul 18, 2017 |
In terms of the Biafran war, the major reason why Nigeria won was the massive support it recieved from its international backers. Britain and Russia provided Nigeria with huge amounts of weapons. The Arab league gave Gowons government millions of Dollars.
Biafra had few allies and the support they got was nothing compared to what Nigeria got. Biafra still gave a good account of themselves for 3 years when one considers that they fought with nothing but their determination to be free.
I dont think that fighting another war is necessary. What the Biafran agitators have to do is employ legal and non violent means such peaceful protest, civil disobedience, election boycott, mass-mobilisation and sensitisation, litigation, superior argument etc
Eventually, Nigerians will have enough and consider giving them a referendum. It might be a long and hard road but they will get there if they remain resolute. |

Warship: You are still not getting the message
Passion without Technological knowledge will produce citizens who can't develop their nation
These interested kids in Biafra should be empowered every Saturday and Sunday with Technological education that can empower them to contribute to national development
By the end of this year, IPOB should be able to ask itself, how many of their kids can produce sophisticated technology that can be of help to IPOB.
Do you understand where I am driving to. Technological education goes hand in hand with the enabling enviroment which Nigeria is not. I think that IPOB is imbibing in these kids something that is more important than technological education. IPOB is teaching their right to self determination and sovereignty. |

To be honest with you if Nnamdi kanu had come out to start the much needed revolution that Nigerian masses need against the corrupt politicians,
if he had stated that all he demands from the government is good governance thereby threaten to burn down the properties of corrupt officials
publicly beat them or even kill them all Nigerians would have stood behind him and not even the army can do anything to him
If he had give ultimatums to state governors to fix bad roads ,local government chairmen to do their jobs or get killed , phcn to fix all light issues all face harsh treatment from the the masses i think all Nigerians would have been behind him
But he took the wrong advice by making every other tribe especially the yoruba hes enemy Nnamdi Kanu has no interest in being a Nigerian hero. He would rather be a Biafran hero |
