The zenith of a Yoruba mans ambition is to be a humble slave of the North so that the North can allow them have the presidency of Nigeria from time to time.

Then it is back to begging the North for restructuring.

and what will that change? Abeg they should extend that to 2019 so it will be a win win for Buhari and APC without much stress..
Tats the whole point. Wether APC or PDP is in power, your suffering will not stop, it will be increasing. So what is the point to go out and vote?

You dont even know what Judeo-Christian is. Do you know that Chistianity is just a branch of Judaism? The Bible is divided into the old Testament and the new Testament. The old Testament represents Judaism while the new Testament represents Chritianity. A Judeo/Christian is simply anyone who believes in the Bible.

Before you start shouting Afonja just check my profile I have been faithful ipob member for years and supporter of Nnamdi KANU
However as an Anambra Man with strong sense of Republicanism i call on my people to ignore this useless and counter productive order from Nnamdi Kanu of Abia state . i do not support Gov Obiano of Anambra nor his Apga party but why have KANU always attacked him and leave out his own state Governor of Abia Dr Okezie Ikpeazu PDP? Inspite of the bad state of Aba ?

Let Kanu first start Election boycott in His home state because if APC or Military Administration take over my state he will relaxe under a democratic civilian Government in Abia state . my people ignore Kanu order in Anambra we are Republicans and can never take useless order
Im an Anambra gut too and I support election boycott. Things are not going to change in Igboland if we keep looking at who is Governor and who is not. The system is bad so we should reject the system. Kanu has callef for a general boycott of elections but it so happens that Anambra elections will be coming first before others.

Not possible ever!

Now you understand. IPOB doesnt care about who wins, it cares causing very low voter turnout. If only 50 people came out to vote, the Boycott would have been a groundbreaking success.

Lol

Kanu is still waxing strong in his beliefs.

grandstar:
He'll plunge the country into an unnecessary war and those who will suffer the most will be the Igbo's.

What this Igbo's care for the most is to take care of their "long suffering farms" which today is their businesses. A secession even if successful and definitely without an inch of the South South will leave the country bordered by several vindictive neighbours who'll frustrate the Biafrans for years. I am definitely sure all Igbo's will be kicked out and dispossessed of the assets.

Its simply a fool's war
He will plunge the country into war? How exactly is he going to do that? So far, it is the federal government shooting unarmed IPOB and IPOB is not armed. Other armed groups like the Niger Delta militants, Boko Haram and the Herdsmen have not plunged the country into war but it is Kanu who has no weapon that will cause war?

Get real

As for this thing you are calling South/South, there are many Igbo territories in it. The Asagba of Asaba will tell you him and his community are Igbos, so will the Asa, Ndoki and Obigbo man in Rivers state. Even an Ikwerre man is the current secretary general of Ohaneze.

Freedom is everything

Why is an individual still been referred as a Senator or a Honourable even when he or she is no longer serving?
Everyone who wins a political position always holds the title in honourary way long after they have left office

For example, the former Governor of Anambra, Peter Obi, was refered to as 'Governor Obi' in a recent Al Jazeera interview despite being out of office for 3 years
PoliticsRe: Is Kanu's Electron Boycott A Hair Brained Idea Or Masterstroke? by attackgat: 5:10pm On Jul 16, 2017
Thw way I see it is that Kanu is doing the right thing. Election boycott is a powerful, non violent and legal way of sending a strong message to the political establishment of any country that thst all is not well. Usually, it is polotical parties that boycott elections. But when a non political organisation such as IPOB calls for it, and it is heeded, its game changer.

It will nit be possible to have a 100% boycott, very few things in life can be achieved to that level of perfection.

But if IPOB can get 70% or even 60% of registered voters in Anambra to boycott the elections, IPOB would have won the day and will have huge rammifications

From Nigeria of course. You may not believe this but it is the right of Igbos to decide what their country is and not Lord Lugard. If Igbos cannot decide their own country, then it means they are in prison, hencw the need for freedom
PoliticsRe: What Do The Igbos Really Want? by attackgat: 7:14pm On Jul 15, 2017
Mistake no1- The states are not the federating units of Nigeria, the ethnic nationalities are. States are just the creation of the military

Mistake no 2- Igbo land is not the SE. Igbos are indigenous to Delta, Rivers, Cross River and Benue states. Just in Benue state, indigenous Igbos (The Umueze Okoha people) number over a million.

Mistake no 3 - This erroneous belief that Igbos have much to lose if they leave Nigeria. Lets see what Igbos have lost for being part of Nigeria:

History of Igbos being massacred in Nigeria::--

1945 Jos Riots:- Hundreds of Igbos killed

1953 Kano massacre:- Hundreds of Igbo massacred

July 1966:- Over 300 Igbo officers of the Nigerian Army murdered

1966:- Over 50,000 Igbos, men, women and children massacred all over the North

1967-70:- Over 3 million souls lost in the civil war in the name of 'one Nigeria'

Other situations where Igbos have been killed are:

Kano 1980
Maiduguri 1982
Jimeta 1984
Gombe 1985
Zaria 1987
Kaduna & Kafanchan 1991
Bauchi & Katsina 1991
Kano 1991
Zangon-Kataf 1992
Funtua 1993
Kano 1994
Kaduna 2000
Kaduna 2001
Maiduguri 2001
Maiden Crisis-Setember 2001
Kaduna 2002
Jos-November 2008
Beheading of Gideon Akaluka in December of 1996 in a POLICE STATION in Kano
Saint Moritz killed December 2001

Neither history nor currency is on the side of Biafra. Only two secessionist movements have ever succeeded in Africa: Eritrea from Ethiopia after 30 years of war, and South Sudan from Sudan in 2011 after 22 years of war - the latter still as war-torn as the pre-2011 Sudan. Herein lies the lesson for Biafra agitators: Secession from Nigeria will not solve their problems unless accompanied by conscientious leadership.

Nigeria, meanwhile, must go back 50 years to draw its own lessons: These types of agitations can lead to war. If the south-easterners don't want to stay, let them go. Fragmentation is a million times better than the devastation of war.

Summary
As a Biafran supporter, Im not asking for Biafra to solve my problems. Im asking for Biafra to get my freedom.

How do you intend to employ and feed all the Igbos that will return to SE once Biafra has been actualized? Wch among the 5 states in the east can survive without FG allocation. So, how will the state of Biafra employ and pay these people. Have it occurred to you guys that there are a lot of Igbo in the federal civil service. There are quite a number of Igbos working in other state govt outside the SE. Virtually every higher institution in the north have an Igbo man lecturing or working there, same with hospitals and some other institutions. These does not include the once who are into business.
It’s obvious that if we break, people from other region would not want us to still remain there. So, how do you intend to cater for the Igbo business owners that will return home? Have any of you ever gone to the major markets in the north. From Suleja to Wuse, to Sokoto, Kebbi, Kano, Funtua, Zaria, Kaduna… All these states have a very large population of Igbos doing business there. How do u intend to take care of them or provide alternative means for them?
Stop talking like a fool. First of all, Biafra is not only Igbo land and even if it were, Igbo land is much bigger than what you call SE.

Biafra getting independence does not mean that all Igbos will pack up and go home. Trust me, it is not in the interesst of Nigeria to do that not only because of what Nigeria will lose locally and internationally, but also because of it is against the laws of Nigeria its self.

If Biafra becomes independent, Nigeria and Biafra will sit down abs duscuss the terms of disengagement such as sharing of assets and liabilities and the status of its citizens living in both countries. If the worst comes to worst, we all apply for visa to visit Abuja. A small price to pay for freedom
