What IPOB should do is continue with massive protest, election boycott, civil disobedience etc until the political establishment of Nigeria gives them a referendum. And if they refuse to give a referendum, IPOB should keep up the pressure so that everyone feels the heat.

As an Anambra man and IPOB supporter, I think what might save Obianos neck is that he belongs to APGA, that he is the most popular Governor in Igbo land and power of incumbency. Had Obiano been one of the less popular Governors such as Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, it would have been a wipeout.


Be that as it may, its still about 5 months to the election and IPOB will certainly campaign for everyone to "Sit At Home" on election day.


My prediction is that if IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu do a good job of sensitising the people against going out to vote, there will be very low voter turn out.

If IPOB can get a 70% or more low voter turn out, their biycott would be a success. It might not be enough to remove Obiano but removing Obiano is not the main concern of IPOB. Getting Biafrans to withdraw from the Nigerian electoral process is.

If as we are saying daily that we are calling for
referendum and not war, then, we should
show that in our attitudes. Our attitudes are
saying something different from what our
words and actions are saying.
You don't need hate speeches to make your
position known, people of God are people of
peace and love. Is 'Chukwu Okike Abiama' the
God of hate? I doubt that.
He who does not love does not know God
because God is love (1John 4:8 ) and if you love
just those who love you, what's the difference
between you and the ungodly? (Matthew
5:43-48).
If we really love the Biafra we are agitating
for, this is the time to breed the love that will
sustain that Biafra.
May God help our brothers and sisters who are
going through hard times right now because of
this flood.

I get to to know Prof. from an interview he had with NTA back then. I quickly wrote his name down and will never want to miss a program he will be part of. He's one of the best brains Nigeria has produced. The 'I'podians want to have it their own way, so any other view is a challenge to them.
