@damidam
As for the experience issue, I don't think that should be a problem but I would allow people with experience or knowledge in UR to come into this.
But I am pretty sure the experience issue shouldn't be a barrier if your CV is well organized

Sorry I addressed you as a brother
My bad?
Well, I believe females don't like going through all these stress and hassles Cause they would rather go through an agent or look for someone that will run around for them.
Nah mens dem they move the trail for here
Maybe I will have to change my thinking

University of Prince Edward Island (check it out cause it's cheaper) and the small province is densely populated so you stand a chance there plus naija plenty wella there

University of regina located in Saskatchewan

Please,.does this mean the whole tuition for the program is $10k ($10k for 1st year and $300 for 2nd year).

Also, is it important I do English proficiency test?
Does the test gives any edge as regard Funding or Assistantship?
If yes, which will you advise between TOEFL and IELTS?

Thanks
10k yearly and about 5k per term is even reasonable self.
You are exempted for the English proficiency test
You don't need it for the admission unless you just want to do it.
It does not give you an edge in funding

What you saw there is about 3,999k approximately to 4k not 300 that's for the continuing fee

hello, i have being doing a lot of research on canadian schools with masters of management courses and i came across a few that are quite affordable but turns out to be very expensive when i add the housing costs....so my question is that is it possible to get an apartment on/off campus at an affordable rate lets say 3000cad a year.
Okay
Let's do a little mathematics
If you equate CAD 300 a year for house rent, you will get CAD 3600 which am pretty sure won't be a problem to if you can afford 3000 yearly because you will certainly be working.
So, my brother, it's very possible you get a house of 300 or 250 in Canada monthly but mind you, such amount will take you in a family house.
Well, you said the schools you found m are very expensive
Please look into UPEI, MUN, UR and compare the amount you got with whatever school you found

Thanks bro, I appreciate
Alright bro
Take your mind off nursing or any medical related courses because even Canadians don’t obtain a spot in the Canadian medical school. They usually travel abroad for it, very few of them do it in their country
It’s very competitive and medical education in Canada is very expensive

Bro frankly I was thinking if such could be possible, need advice here, course that some one can study and stand a better chance of getting a job there? Especially course maybe under management Science or social science... Will appreciate if you recommend for me, my brain might come together
Whatever you study in Canada you will definitely get a job in it.
If you’d applied to 5 different schools for master in nursing science you will end up wasting your money in the process cause they won’t give you the admission.
You stand a chance to look into Management courses, social science courses and physical science courses because it aligned with your undergraduate degree.
To make it easier for you in getting the Visa just go straight to economic.
So go check out schools in Canada via google and do a dinky research (sorry I will not recommend for you cause I would rather want you to put some little efforts)
If you didn’t get anything reasonable come back here and tell us what you found
Peeps will help you

Bless you

Hello gurus in the house, please I want some clarification on my question below. And please forgive me if it has been answered before.

How can a Nigerian holding a student visa and PGWP in Canada regularise his stay and continue staying in Canada after his studies of 2 years.
You apply for permanent residence permit which is very easy to get if you have no bad records during your stay in Canada
Mind you, you will be asked to show account statement while applying in Canada
There are other ways, the most important thing is to get there first

Bless you

But I intend to study Nursing at Saskatchewan University... Will they allow me to go for master in nursing?
What you just said is completely unacceptable
I am pretty sure you know the answer already.
Can you just imagine the career path differenceshuh

Bsc in Cooperative economics and management to do master’s in nursing
Does it sound reasonable to you?
Common bro common bro, you can do better than this.
To even get nursing science under g admission in Canada is HOT CAKE and very competitive
They hardly give admission to an international student in nursing or other medical related courses because it's pretty expensive to do in Canada

Hi guys,

Is it possible to defer my admission for a year or 6 months once I'm in Canada, work, make some money and then resume schooling?

Cc:Justwise

Anyone else who can be of help.

Thanks
Alright so, everyone is telling you not to do it and let me tell you why to form a different angle: if you do not get caught you will end up developing an internal fright that will haunt you in obtaining a post-graduate work permit and even beyond that.
CBSA showing up at your door and taking you away is not a pretty scene, you don't want to see that coming. Right? Yes
Lemme tell you a story a guy shared in Nairaland some years back.
He got himself a study permit in the UK, he had a very good immigration record but he wanted to play smart (well... Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do to put food in the table). He went to do an arrangee marriage, unfortunately to him, it flopped, to keep the story short, he was deported and faced 10 years ban from entry the UK.
See, what the guy did it's kinda rampant in the UK but it was unfortunate for him.
According to him, he said the immigration officer that handled his case was pitying him and told him that he looks gentle and easy going and have a very good immigration record, she said he shouldn't have done it.,
She said, she's sorry but he will have to take it cause the law is not in her hand.
That was how he saw himself in Nigeria to start from square one all over again.
He said, he couldn't cry or hate himself, he did it cause he's running out of funds and he is getting nothing from home cause he has to send something home.
(Y'all know there are lots of benefits when you marry a citizen).
So my brother, learn from this story, I could feel the pain from the guy when I was reading the story, it happened like a film to him, he couldn't shout nor cry.
what you are about to do is a very risky cause if CBSA comes knocking at your door, the story is not going to end well.
mind you, CIC/IRCC usually check back on every International student through DLI to check if you're still maintaining your studentship.
I hope you've gotten your TRV, if you haven't, this should be the least you should be thinking of.

(for the fact they keep increasing our processing time, that's to tell you that, they are having issues with Nigerians, and maybe to themselves, they have to put more effort and time in our application. Well, God pass them FINALLY)

Bless you

Ok... so I need someone to advice me .. and in details (please).. I'm still an undergraduate in Nigeria cos of the strike in my finals tho.. when I'm done I'm planning on getting my PhD or restarting school itself in canada.. what are my chances?
I have an uncle there.. would it be possible to get visa to stay with him there while I school there?.. and what are the regular deadlines for admissions and scholarships...
Last question.. do I need to complete my nysc first before trying to migrate?

Someone please patiently and kindly help me with my questions
The best advice I will give you right now is
Take your time and know the meaning of Ph.D.
You can't jump from undergraduate to Ph.D.

Hello everyone!

I applied for my work visa at the VAC office in Berlin, Germany and I was given a tracking number to track my application and I was also told that it takes 10 working days to get a response.
And so I've been trying to track my application via the VAC website but it keep coming up with an error message.

Please does anyone know how I can go about this or has someone experienced this before?

Thanks in anticipated response.
forget that tracking number, you don't need it. Link your application online to get the real drill (activities) in your application

First, you need to create an online (GcKey account) on CIC webpage using this link

(1) Go to this below listed link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
(2) Click on continue to Gckey
(3) Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
and so on...

please I have a second class lower degree in geography and environmental management
what PGD course can I do in canadian college and also in what school ...I'm seriously having trouble with this
Step 1: Open your browser
Step 2: Type in www.Google.com
Step 3: Type in " list of DLI (designated learning institute) colleges in Canada
Step 4: Open a link, check the schools and courses that aligned with your field
Step 5: Repeat Step 4 for many other schools

It's not easy to wait for someone to come and start posting schools. Some things are better left for you to research. Come on, you're going for grad admission.

Wat do u mean by eligibility is review required.. is your friends application on eligibility review or background check at the moment?
It simply means eligibility review is ongoing in the application.
The moniker doesn’t understand Gcms note cause they are a lot to say in that application plus the VO is hiding some vital information from the applicant.
I just don’t have the strength to start explaining now.
I noticed people are more concerned about the comment being laid From the VO in Gcms note
Trust me, they are more and more to say asides from the VO’s comment especially when they haven't taken the final decision on the application.
Every page in the Gcms note has meaning but we tend to ignore and jump only in the VOs comment.

Back cert and transcript

Passport
Admission letter and receipt of confirmation of seat payment.
SOP
LOE

Financial docs( sponsor is mother)
Bank statement of around 10m
3 Land properties
Rent receipts

Moreover, am not applying from Nigeria ( applyiNg with the work permit of my current country).

Please what are my chances and is there anything else I should add to improve my chances.
Affidavit of support from your mom showing her dependent then you should also add police clearance (very important for you cause you're applying outside Nigeria)
If your mom has traveled overseas, add her stamp passport including yours
You can also include a family picture, if you have to.
Also, include a letter of reference from your mom's bank and from your bank (very important )
You can also add an affidavit of return (if you want to)
Good luck

Hi! Is 3 pages okay and not too much for SOP?

Total words is 1030
My candid advice to you is to arrange your SOP in sub-topic so that it won't bore the VO and it will be easy for the VO to go through whatever he/she is expecting to see real quick.
and whatever point you want to hit make it bold (if you want to).

My dad signature on his CAC certificate is different from the one he's using now pls house hope I can't have issue with this
You don't ignore things like this or its better you don't even submit the CAC
if you want to submit make sure your dad do an affidavit to back his claim.

If you don't, it may raise suspicion then it leads to a ban.
As far as Canada visa is concerned, little things like YES OR NO answer usually lead to 5 years ban.
You may see yours as nothing but those guys no get joy.

Hello House, I have been following this thread for about two months. I just got my letter of admission from University of Regina, Health studies this month. It is an undergraduate degree. I am about to file my application for a student permit and I want to ask few questions.

1) I already have a degree in Medical Physiology, how does this play out when applying for a permit for second undergraduate in Health studies considering they have very similar syllabus?

2) My sponsor is an uncle (We don’t share same surname)of mine and has about 12-15m in his closing account, also I am adding the my dad’s numerous landed property documents and three cars to my application, also the CAC document of the school he owns, all these represents home ties, what’s my best bet on this?

3) And lastly, should I use online or paper route for my application?
Well, It's cool to submit whatever you feel that will make your application airtight even if it's 100 pages of SOP(just sayin).
I am just wondering and pondering why you decided to submit three cars to your application
Are these cars used to transport people, equipment or merchandise on a regular basis?
Are the cars branded as commercial vehicle?
Are the cars registered with the government as a business or commercial vehicle?
Does it have a direct link exists between the vehicle and the business operations?
IF NO then they are a personal expense, it shouldn't be added to your application. (mind you, if you feel it should be included go ahead and submit it).

There is no hard and fast rule but the general guidelines above are a good indication of when a car or vehicle can be included In your application.

For the rest...
@Mcobex have said it all, just stick with what he/she has said

Please enlighten me on the importance of the gcms notes
GCMS notes are very useful because these papers give a pretty clear explanation of how an officer looks at an applicant’s case, what is missing and what is required for successful processing. In case of the rejection, GCMS file would provide a clear picture of why this has happened and even how the situation could be rectified.
Very often, GCMS notes also help an applicant to see what additional documents should be provided in order to receive a positive decision even after several previous rejections.

Reapplied in December for Winter. Deferred to September 2019 now. Please do I attach the new LOA in the Web form?
If there are any changes in your application, you have to notify IRCC real quick via the webform or email address to expedite your application.
I don't know where you guys got this ideology of waiting for IRCC to request for a new LOA or any other supporting documents.
Sometimes, it's not applicable to all applicants cause they may not request for it, considering the fact that you only know about it when you order for gcms note.
If there are any changes in your application or you feel like adding documents to your application PLEASE DO IT WITHOUT REMORSE or they will use it against you in your gcms
