yemilasko: Hello house ..im new here..im sorry if i violate any rules..pls have just been granted a canada student visa but now my husband wants me to go along with our 3 years old daughter...pls wht is the rate of her visa approval and wht document do we package for her. 2)as a student can i apply for her or let me say can i take her along 3)how long do u think it will take ..mine actually took exactly 2mnth.(9wks)..im asking for her own duration since theres no biometrics for a minor child...i will really appreciate ur response...one house 4)its a 2years multiple visa ,can i come home during my break and still enter canada back with her without reapplying for a visa...im sorry for too much questions Check out for kindergarten or preschool in Canada then you should secure admission for your daughter ONLINE Use the admission letter and other necessary documents to apply for study permit for your daughter They will definitely grant her visa cause I see no reason why they won't grant her visa. You should tell them in your sop how important your 3 years old daughter should come to stay with her mother. : We don't know how long it will take the visa officer to grant your daughter visa : your visa is 2 years, you can come back anytime to Nigeria within the 2 years, all you need is to book a flight ticket. You can even come to Nigeria to charge your phone You don't need any visa within your 2 years visa duration. Moreover, if you're to resume school this winter, I will advise you to travel to Canada and secure admission for her in person then you should apply for her study permit. You will now come back home in the spring holiday (April, may) to carry your daughter |

princekins: Can't you do a Debit Master Card payment? You can, the debit master card must be a domiciliary account. I think there are limits you can transfer with your normal debit master card and the account must be a Tier 1 account. Long story short... it's always advisable you go through your bank in case something happens in future like a refund and all, you go fit know where to run to with the proof (telex copy). |

Maxihyfr: Thanks!!! Go with your admission letter, int.passport, degree certificate, and the transfer details of what you got from your school eg flywire. Those are the stuff they will send to CBN before they could release dollar for you. |

Maxihyfr: Good morning all.. I want to pay a portion of my school fees... So I want to know ... Bank transfer or Webster union.. Which one is more suitable?? Did I hear you say western union? Hell no. : Don't even think about it twice just walk straight to your bank and do the payment. (highest they will charge you 15k for transfer charges cause they will have to buy $US or CAD from CBN) Bless you |

Unchee: I hope this will encourage someone:
22nd Sept - Submitted online application 3rd October - Invited for medical 15th October - Did medical at IOM Abuja 21st October - Medical Passed Waited to 6 weeks. One of the longest waiting time of my life 29th November - Biometric correspondence letter 30th November - Original Passport request 3rd December - Submitted passport at VFS Abuja 18th December - Correspondence letter 19th December - Passport ready for collection
Document Submitted Apart from the normal compulsory document, i also submitted: - Proof of financial support: 9.2m, self sponsor, 4 months - My pension scheme financial contribution for 6 months - Letter of Introduction from the company i work with stating that i work with them and have worked for certain number of years. The letter didn't state that i was going to school. - Statement of purpose: I hadn't joined nairaland before i submitted my application. So, my SOP was purely from my own thoughts. It was a 1 and half page SOP. I just stated why i wanted to study in canada and why i wanted to study Electrical and Computer engineering. Last year, I was denied visa because of insufficient fund. This year, i applied to another school with a lower tuition fees. I also stated it in my SOP why i was moving from school A to school B and why i believe that i could get better quality of education in school B. Seriously, I don't believe in exchanging SOP's from one person to another. Before you know it, we are all writing similar thing and grammar to VO's. Remember plagiarism is not tolerated over there. Just sit down and get your unique SOP. Give me the guidline and let me develop it myself. Well, this is purely my idea. i stand to be corrected - Landed Property: Well, i bought one of those village lands in Abuja without CofO. I just attached the letter of agreement from the village chief.
Document not submitted - Police report - Tuition fee receipt. I haven't paid tuition fees yet
Finally, Pray, pray and pray. Then, crown it with thanksgiving. We can't thank Him enough but we can thank Him some more. For me, this is the most important thing.
I hope this helps. Congratulations to you |

Justobserving1: Opening the transcript makes it invalid.so I will advise that you send it separately tsmith1: You should be able to send it together. What makes the transcript unacceptable is if its been tampered with by opening of the envelope. Hence, you can have both envelopes in a bigger one, then send.
First, you can write the school and tell them about your intention (how you'd want your OND transcript sent to your latter school so that both transcripts can be sent to them for easy tracking, and to save you cost and time. Or, you can just talk to the courier service provider you intend using...they'd surely help you out around it as all documents are taken to Lagos first before being dispatched to their destination, so they can help you merge both and dispatch together.
In my own case, the courier service provider (UPS) collated my transcripts at my two schools and dispatched to MUN. Also, I wrote the school as regards the issue of late release of one of my transcripts, and I was permitted to send a scanned copy till the official copies arrive. So what would you say about those that have been submitting an academic transcript in their visa application and got approved : ?? |

Mrmoshood: Good day All,
I submitted my study permit application online on 16th October, did my biometrics on 22nd October.
I got medical request on 5th December and did my medical on 10th. Medical updated to passed on 16th December makes it 6th day today, I have not gotten any update.
Please how long is it gonna take to get PPR/Approval. My program is starting in January 7th. Good morning You don't have to panic. The possibility of resuming before the 7th of January is very slim for you cause it will take some days to process your passport too. All schools in Canada usually give an extra 2 weeks for an international student to resume So, stay calm you will still get there in January. Bless you |

Goldenegg: Compliments of the season my people.
So this is my story.....
Applied in April Refused in June
Re-applied in June Refused in November
I was so heartbroken and devastated..... But I just held on to God's promise.
I didn't want to try again.
But the Spirit of God gave me the courage to try again.
So I applied again in November.
God finally came through for me and I got my approval this December.
Lesson : If God has said it, that settles it because He will surely do it. Don't give up. It's not over till you win!
By the way I'm a matured student o, in my forties. I left university over 20 years ago. If God can do it for me, He will also do yours!
To God be the glory! All I can say is THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST MY LORD! Mighty congratulations sir I am happy for you. |

blaugrana82: I'm tempted to open a new twitter account and send them a tweet. Bro, been laughing on this. The person that is in charge of IRCC Twitter dey try, cause the questions are two much on Twitter and the person no send anybody again. Around September I asked a question then he/she sent me a dm and we chatted. He just apologize on the behalf of IRCC and told me what to do. Base on what I've been seeing recently about Canada, I think Canada immigration is compassionate to refugees than legal immigrants I just don't understand why they don't want legal immigrants to come and give them money. |

There's an update in CIC website If you want to send webform directly to the visa office handling your application, you no longer have to go through the general web form You will have to go through this link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/international-visa-offices.htmlAll visa offices now have their web form so don't go through the general web form in CIC website only if you don't know the office that your application is being processed then use the general web form. If your application is being processed in London click London, Nairobi etc Though there are many countries that their application is being treated in London Choose London even though it is stated that Nigeria is lagos Choose London Then it will bring out use this web form> click on tell us more< it will bring out two different yes or no questions after answering the questions then choose the visa office in the dropdown bar then click on goto web form. It will now take you straight to IRCC London web form, your query will be sent directly to LONDON or whatsoever visa office you chose that's handling your application Note: Before there used to be visa office in the general web form but they have removed it in the new update, that's why you need to go through this process. |

Saying I am insensitive if you don't know what to say, you should just keep quiet. I hate when information is being rendered and some people will just jump up from nowhere to say all such of things I think it's high time some of you know that they don't pay anybody to answer question here We just do it out of freewill and good heart. Stop bashing people that are answering a question or rendering information If it doesn't favor you, waka pass it will favor someone else. Peace |
