toogbasky:Don't be confused brother. You said you have a family member in the company board of directors (that's to say, he's your uncle) : Talk to him, let him stand as your sponsor. Tell him to explain everything to the board of directors about the visa wahala and he should collect the money from the company to his personal account so he should stand as your sponsor... meaning, to you and the company he's inversely standing for the company. My 50 cent advise. |
Frankrobbn1:@toogbasky I hope you can see this? You'd better accept the simple truth and advise. Oga frank thank you! |
toogbasky:That's gonna be a problem cause there are people that have been working in the company over 3 years. You haven't worked in the company for 1 year So you will have to be careful In your SOP or from your letter of sponsorship (from the company). In fact don't say anything like ”one staff for every 2 years interval” in your SOP or Sponsorship letter because it can be use against you. Obtaining a company sponsorship can be highly mutually beneficial for both You and the company involved in the arrangement, as it can give financial support throughout the period of study for you, while at the same time ensuring that meaningful, relevant research is being carried out for the company with the added benefit that, in most cases, an excellent employee will be ready to work for them upon completion of study. That’s why I would advise you to sign an agreement with the company that commits you to work for them for a minimum period of time after completing your degree. Before getting on board with the sponsorship you want to be crystal clear that you are happy with the terms being set in terms of how long after completion you have to stay exclusively with the firm that is to be your sponsor. Let the company transfer your tuition fee or living expenses and they should provide the company's account. You should also provide your account as the co-sponsor. Good luck to you |
toogbasky:For how long have you been working for the company? And what's your impact on the company? Why are they spending this much on you? PS: Be sincere with your answers For the bolded, you stand a very good chance (home tie) |
Banemu:Good morning, please visit the link below https://www.nairaland.com/5031893/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled They will guide you Good luck with your new journey |
Banemu:I will suggest that you stand a chance in the express entry pool Just that, You must take approved language tests in English or French and get a minimum score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in all 4 abilities (writing, reading, listening and speaking). CLB 7 equals 6 under IELTS. Your score should be minimum of Listening – 8, Writing – 7, Reading – 7 and Speaking – 7 to estimate your score. You've got to score at least 67 points out of 100 under selection factors to be eligible. The factors are Age Skills Education (tertiary education or postsecondary education is not a must) Language ability Work experience Other factors Bless you |
Phantomcole:NO, PGD/C is prolly not under it. I referenced the guy cause he Said ”Nigerians don't like hearing the truth” To get this Visa with a diploma is very very very difficult and it can only take the grace of God to walk past it. That's why I would rather advise instead of choosing diploma, why not go for another BSC or opt for PGD/C and MSC. @Raymondrain did you submit your proof of residence permit in UAE? and did you explain to them in your SOP or LOE why you chose to apply in UAE? well, with what I can see so far, you have a better chance by coming back to Nigeria and reapply but make sure you order your Gcms note and tackle everything. Endeavor to reach us here for further assistance in your gcms Good luck to you. |
Raymondrain:”I am not a guru” and this is my contribution Why do Nigerians keep falling into the trap of diploma? Why? Isn't it obvious they don't value the diploma from Nigerians? With the influx of refusal rates on the diploma, why do we keep falling into this trap? Ever since Last year, I haven't seen any diploma visa approval (please someone should come here and prove me wrong). This is one of the things ”@vibrant99” have been saying... ”Nigeria doesn't like hearing the truth”. Lord knows anything about diploma am not gonna say pekem again. Brother, do the needful so that heaven will help you. You've been refused 3 times plus this 4th times, did you tackle the 3 refusals application before the 4th one? Did you order your Gcms notes in all your previous application before the 4th refusal came up? My 1 dollar advises to you now, order for your Gcms in your 1,2,3,4 applications before you go for the 5 application. Don't rush, I've seen someone in this thread that got approved in his 6th application @galala123. I believe you will get it in your 5th application if only you help yourself I can't say anything more about this profile cause I don't know if the problem could come from your 1,2 or 3 application. If you have a work permit visa or study permit visa or PR in UAE then the problem is not prolly because you applied in UAE but if you're on a visiting visa then that could be one of the problems here. Your profile is good but I didn’t see police character certificate (which is very important if you applying from abroad), letter of reference and Affidavits of sponsor. Good luck |
jeneyclub:Lemme give you my itsy-bitsy advise... Change to Pgd/c or MSC. If the diploma is working 5 years ago, sorry the system is as hard as nails now. To the VO, your career is retrogressing (Bsc-Diploma) nonetheless diploma is kinda common in Nigeria (very rampant) you don’t even need to attend university, poly or college of edu to get it here, there are so many small institutes in Nigeria that you can do diploma in less than 4-month self. Now for the travel history, insofar as travel history cannot be the reason for the refusal, don’t ignore it in your next application try and tackle it by saying you love traveling but You haven’t got the opportunity to travel abroad, have traveled locally in Nigeria (mention 6-7 states in Nigeria and explain the purpose of your travel to each of the states). They must-have slammed you with the purpose of Visit and travel history in your refusal letter. Just to let you know if you tackle the purpose of visit even without tackling travel history, it will be waived. PS: YOU DONT NEED TO TRAVEL TO TOPNOTCH COUNTRIES because of your ”travel history” but you stand a better chance if you do. Where you have work to do is the ”purpose of visit” as highlighted in your Gcms. Bless you @raymondrain Please kindly share your profile for further Help from peeps here. The reasons of the refusal is too much to me. Kindly share your profile. I hope you've ordered your Gcms note if you want to reapply Sorry bro, You can also think Australia (as a student you are eligible to apply for PR and there are good paying jobs in Aussie) |
Maxihyfr:Please Tick yes for work permit. (if you order your Gcms note you will see your intended occupation and the employers name [the company]) you won't see it in your LOA the VO will verify it and it will reflect in your Gcms note. You don't need GCMS, I am just explaining it to you for a better understanding. Ps: if you can't answer a simple question in IMM form or questionnaire form, it's a big turn off to VOs All the best brother @maxihyfr, my chairman @makano has answered your question take it from him, please. You can scroll up you will see where @Bracha gave out the direction of Qlife. IOM is in number 1 Isaac John street Ikeja GRA. Good luck to you. @slowlordng, are you in any social club? Are you in any organization? Does your dad or mom have a business or investment? Are you working currently? If all these questions are yesses, please add the documents to your application? Now in your SOP, you should talk about the bond of you and your family, if you are currently working, tell them the prospect of your job and the course you intend to study and the promotion you will get upon return in Nigeria. If you're not working yet, tell them the opportunity that awaits you in Nigeria cause of the advantages of your international study especially in Canada. Add your family picture together with you and submit birth certificates and marriage certificate of your parents. Do you have a personal business or investment? If yea, adds it to your application. Are you married? Or you have a child(ren) (very strong tie). Add the proof birth certificate(s) or marriage registry. Those are the things I can think of right now that will compel your return to your home country. Bless you @Emmyirab, I doubt the guy really understands college cause they do pgd/c and diploma in Canadian university too. (I don't know if he's against college or the programme in college because dem dey even study Nursing for Canadian college too). Please, we are here, for one thing, to help and encourage each other. They are not paying anybody for a job well done here, neither giving an award or medals to the best commenter. Just ignore the guy cause we have got to respect peoples personality that's just him, you can't change it. |
BankManager:Great to have you here (one love). To be on a safer side 15 million and above You can still get it with 10 million and above too Peeps has gotten the visa with 5,6,7,8,9 million or even lesser than 5 million (everybody grace no be the same). If you haven't gotten your admission yet, start working on it to secure fall admission(cause you're determined to travel this year). Then come back here after the admission and ask your questions on how to go about with the visa. PS: you can get a sponsor (dad, mom, sibling, uncle or Auntie) and use yourself as the auxiliary or co-sponsor Good luck on your new journey. |
nonipeter:Say the truth, you don't need advice. You know the right thing to do. PS: you are giving yourself a big red flag. Be careful! |
gatsbym4:Don't get it twisted bro. They treat Nigeria far better than Iraq, Iran, Venezuela, Pakistan, Somalia (even though IRCC ohishi [oga] is from Somalia) these are the countries am pretty sure of. They treat Nigeria just as they treat Indians. We dey get the visa very well Nah. (most of these guys you see here, once they get their visa they will disappear, but if dem no get the visa, they will come here and cry for headache) Please don't use the statistic of what you see here to generalize. E never bad reach that level. Package your application well and pray for grace @ruthnnedi send an Email or webform to IRCC tell them about the new development (pregnancy) before you go for the medical examination. Please make sure you inform the clinic or hospital about your pregnancy (if you're not heavy pregnant) before you undergo the test, cause the ray can cause some damages to your pregnancy Good luck to you @raymondrain The final decision is pretty close. This development started last year August/September But not applicable to may, June, July applicants that are still hopeful |
Josade69:Lemme give you a quick explanation of Co-op permit. In your questionnaire or in the IMM form please make sure you select “YES” (for work permit) meaning that you’re gonna work. Your program has a work requirement (unpaid, work integrated learning) as part of the program of study which will require you to apply for a Work Permit, along with your Study Permit. This work component will not constitute more than 50% of the total duration of the program. This permit is called a Co-op Work Permit and is issued for the purpose of all paid and unpaid work and work integrated learning that is part of an academic program. Your study application will be treated as case type 59 which is different from study permit as case type 30. Your LOA will authorize the work placement, and confirming that the work placement is required for the study program. that's the only document you are submitting in regard to a Co-op work permit. Now my two cent advice is, make sure you give the VO every reasonable doubt that you didn’t choose that course on purpose cause it requires work (to IRCC it is regarded as paid and unpaid work) which means according to them they will think they might pay you. cause it depends on the company or organization you’re working for they may decide to pay you just like internships). Meanwhile, to the school, its regarded as unpaid work. mind you, it’s different from the general 20 hrs work per week for the student. (So imagine the amount of work this VO will be thinking that you actually came for. Cause you’re working during your academy session and normal 20hrs work per week) The co-op work permit allows you to work up to full-time during the semester, depending on the conditions of the work placement authorized by the DLI. The co-op work permit is required regardless of whether the mandatory work placement is paid or unpaid. You may simultaneously use a co-op work permit, and the standard work authorization granted to you in your Canadian study permit. This means that you may have a job unrelated to your study program, at the same time as working in the mandatory work placement. The co-op work permit is a closed work permit, meaning it can only be utilized for one job and one employer. The employer is designated on the permit document as the educational institution authorizing the co-op placement. The co-op work permit will also be issued for a specific time period as authorized by the coordinator of the student’s co-op work placement. Usually, this will coincide with the validity of the study permit. There are no application fees for the co-op work permit. I wish you the best of luck and make sure you have enough funds and convincing SOP. Bless you. @vibrant99 on the college issue, you are wrong, to some extent but 10% assurance is very low. Calm down bros, your blood too dey rush. (are you against college as a whole or the programme? Cause they do study pgd/c or diploma in university too) Lotta People still get their visa approved with PGD/C in Nigeria The truth is, Master Has more advantage in terms of getting the VISA compared to Pgd/c |
StacieG:Ma’am, you’re about to repeat the same thing again in regards to your funds. What about you wait after reapplication of your study permit before you go for the treasury bill. There’s nothing wrong in submitting treasury bill if only you have the required funds (a reasonable amount compared to the previous one) in your personal account or business account (if it’s a sole signatory). Please check out this link https://www.nairaland.com/3948393/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/391#63425662 On how to tackle the purpose of visit. Seeing that you want to reapply next month, As you wait for the Gcms note, go through that link and see how you can go about with the purpose of visit, perhaps you can start now to tackle it till You get the Gcms note then you kill it. Bless you |
StacieG:Sorry, ma'am for the refusal, You have a very good application First and foremost, I am glad you've already ordered for your Gcms note (that's a smart move from you) As you wait for the Gcms to be available please check out for Oga frank post, you will see where he explained how to tackle purpose of visit. Now, I will assure you that if you liquidate your fixed deposit account and add with your personal account... personal assets and Financial Status will be waived Where you have to work on is your purpose of visit As you wait for your Gcms, please start tackling your purpose of visit poco a poco until you get the Gcms note ( then you finalize everything). When your gcms note is ready, Please endeavor to reach me so that we will tackle it together, or rather you can post it here for peeps to help you. You have a very good supporting documents, so I will say the expectation was kinda high from the VO, alas the closing balance is low which to me, I will say the VO was a kinda disappointed cause of the low closing balance with such huge transaction history and investment. But I assure you. If you liquidate your fixed deposit, trust me the personal assets and financial status will be waived (you already have remarkable investments, please remove the fixed deposit) I am not saying fixed deposit is not a good investment but it's unfortunate these VOs are more interested in seeing the liquid cash than any investment. But in your case, I will advise you to liquidate your fixed deposit. Note: bringing out all these documents doesn't show any desperation, you brought out what you have, so don't remove anything in your next application, I will only advice you on your fixed deposit for now. PS: this is my own opinion When you're into business especially real estate, sometimes, low closing balance is kinda normal, But the VOs won't see it this way Bless you |
Honestly speaking, I don't like how you guys talk to 042viber for some weeks now Common, this guy visa is pending, trust me, he's facing a lot, yet he takes his time to respond to people’s question accordingly. Please, we should be careful of words. Words, when said and articulated in the right way can change someone's mind, otherwise can destroy someone happiness by using only your words. A simple choice of word can make a difference between someone accepting or denying your message. Ps: what he said is very professional to me. ”have you been denied visa?” if he has been denied the visa, there would be ”SP REFUSED”. the problem could actually come from the poster maybe he/she omitted it. It's very possible he/she hasn't been denied the visa and get that feedback from the VO via Gcms note. if he/she tackles it asap before the final decision, then the VO may change his/her mind. @042viber the VO have sent your application to Lagos for secondary review. That was why you got a mail from lagos visa office. The other girl, what i was expecting to see is an active review not an active process Anyway, all good cause it will definitely end up in good news. God pass them Nwannem keep doing the good work. God will bless you Your testimony is pretty close. @makano you are also doing a great job here, it's not easy, it will surely end in praise for you and others. The wait is derailing. Bless up |
bikerboy1:Nah wa for some of you self are you expecting him to mention all the countries? And etc is meant for what? And besides didn't you see Paris Paris is France and France is part of Schengen area countries. No offense please |
Okattamgbee:Pgd/pgc Are the same thing Graduate diploma is different because being at the same level as the final year of a bachelor's degree. Please take note, depending on the institution, a graduate diploma in Canada may be at graduate level or bachelor's level. If you'd check on Google, you would have gotten your answer. |
justwise:I didn't say Soviet union and China is not a good travel history. : What you just explained has been highlighted in frank’s post. I didn't Write the full explanation cause I was busy in the morning. Bro, if you disclose your US visa with full details and date, it has no negative impact in getting a Canadian visa unless you were refused on criminal stuff then it could affect the chances of getting a Canada visa |
justwise:Thank you |
Okattamgbee:Please if you can opt for PGD/PGC Before applying for Visa... Go for it or if you have the strength of searching for schools that would accept you for MSC, go for it. Going for BSC at your age is even more Reasonable to the VO so far you can cover the gap appropriately. That's my 2 cents advise to you, if you like...take it or leave it |
Thanks, Emeritus for standing by me This guy just wanna make me look like a fool. (I don't say want am not sure of) I would also want to point out some issues In as much as zero travel history don't necessarily affect the chances of visa. Please don't travel to Dubai, South Africa, Ghana, etc to disvirgin your passport in the name of US, Canada visa. You can use the money for better things unless you're going for tourism, visiting, business purpose etc I would also highlight some very good point Travel history increases your chances of getting a visa in Canada compared to someone with no travel history Because the VO will see it this way ”if this guy could go to this country and obeyed the immigration law and he/she came back to his home country in the appropriate time then he/she will likely obey the immigration law in Canada and would return to his country. Travel history is mostly regarded in developed countries that have been highlighted earlier. : if you've been refused Visa before especially in Five-eye group ( Aus, US, NZ, UK, and CA) Please answer that yes or no question very well cause its one of the problem of being ban in Canada If your answer is yes Give the full details of your refusal and date. Don't hide anything from them I've seen a case in Gcms where the person didn't give out the full details and it almost put her is a big mess. Thank God she ordered Gcms. had it been she didn't order the note, the story would have been in another dimension by now. If your application has crossed 3 months, order Gcms to know what is actually wrong with the application. : I was very shock of what justwise said. I didn't see that coming from justwise |
Maestro001:In as much that there's nothing impossible cause I believe some Nigerians must have gotten the visa on diploma basis. These guys are looking for any god damn crazy reasons to refuse Nigerians If you'd come from a better country and you go for a diploma then you have nothing to worry but Nigeria graduate going for a diploma. Well, very possible Good luck |
justwise:Well... I will do my findings and take correction : But I doubt you are correct because travel history for Canada, US visa is mostly from a developed country like US, Canada, Schengen countries, Singapore, Aus, NZ,Europe etc : Don't give me an incomplete answer that US visa refusal adversely affects the chances of getting Canada visa I am pretty sure that Canada & US are members of the five-eye group, mainly to share criminal-immigration related data. So I will agree with you if you'd say ”not directly, it may affect” And who's to say that the US visa refusal was not "normal"? For all we know, it might have been refused because of some criminal matter. so that could affect the chances of Canadian visa. The two countries have different purpose of visit. |
Desmondola2020:Your funds is very good and it can give you a visa and your current employment are good also. so now, you will have to work on your family tie and purpose of Visit. Just to let you know that Dubai and South Africa is not regarded as a travel history (as far as Canada visa is concerned) well, they don't just refuse visa on zero travel history, though they will mention it with other reasons Tackle the other reasons and travel history will fly away. Your US denial doesn't have any negative influence on your Canada visa... it does, if you were banned. If you're not in a rush, order your Gcms to know the exact thoughts of the VO that handled your application. July is summer so you have time to order for your Gcms |
teejay2018:Congratulations GOD IS INDEED FAITHFUL |
TrustAllah:Bro if your BSc is 2:2 and you want to opt to master’s then you will have to put an extra work that's if you have the energy cause it's very difficult to get master with second class lower but still possible. Why go to an advanced diploma? It's not a career progression if you already have your BSC degree... Which I believe you do (the VO won't see it reasonable) ... If your degree is 2:2 please go into PGD/PGC to make it easy. SIMPLE! if your degree is 2:1 you can go for either PGD/PGC or masters (masters preferably) Bless you |
My senior citizen @ Oga frank You're just too good and advance |
Raheembisi:Good morning Please don’t try it, don’t even think of it. Liquid cash is very important and so then if you want to add the treasury bill make sure you get a letter from your bank saying the treasury bill can be liquidated anytime the need may be. Then you in your SOP or LOE make it bold and repeat it again saying the treasury bill will be liquidated and it set aside for the purpose of your travel Then you do some calculation of tuition fee and other living expenses in your SOP Make sure you add the amount of your treasury Bill or fixed deposit with the available funds (liquid cash) in your account. I repeat don't submit just treasury bill as proof of funds (sorry am rushing to type this cause am busy at the moment, so I can't explain everything in details) Bless you |
Ocon:Please forgone that article you saw online cause it's not credible with the tuition fee You will get all the breakdown in your letter of admission So the thing is to apply to your school of choice then when accepted, you will see the breakdown of the tuition fee and others |
Claraben:If you eventually get the Ph.D. in nursing admission which am pretty sure it will attract full funding and graduate assistant job then you are super lucky . Keep praying and praying and praying Ph.D. is a sure bet for visa 8 out of 10 usually get their visa approved within weeks I am 100% sure |
