SLIDEwaxie:
let us analyse this ur imaginary "others will suffer if we go" syndrome.

are your telling me there will be no other people to buy and sell? isn't that your major strength?

and in the areas of manufacturing, u are simply insinuating that no other people can manufacture fake products, right?

dude, u people talk too much. you think you are the bane of everything

lol
I dont simply understand what some of you guys gain in your usual tribal bashing,a lot of meaningful time is wasted criticising and antagonising others. It is simply affecting the quality of contributions we Nigeria youths can make in discussions these days,we see tribe first in anything we discuss and the same generation and political class that plundered our economy and commonwealth,is having a field day while the youths are busy E-bashing each other....its painful for me to accept the fact that this generation,is a wasted generation.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria: Igbos Lead In Consumption Of Islamic Insurance Products by AustineE1: 7:58am On May 21, 2015
Benefiting from Islamic insurance system does nt imply that one is a muslim or appreciatn of Islam,People world-wide tend towards products that are cheaper with equally good value. Igbos generally are very resourceful, they key into economic programs that either benefits their businesses and investments. It shldnt be a big News that Igbos unlike others who may nt really be open to new innovations in business are benifiting from the Insurance system.
However, the vice-chairman of chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria only made a statement, which may not even be a statement of fact,we may need an 'empirical evidence',to prove that Igbos actually benefited more.....why the emphasis on northern muslims, are southern muslims not expected to also benefit from it.

PoliticsRe: Nationalism Is Haram (unlawful) According To Islam by AustineE1: 1:38pm On May 19, 2015
aminho:
Nationalism cannot unite the people because it is based on quest for leadership. This quest for leadership creates a power struggle between the people and this leads to conflicts among various strata of society. Another drawback of nationalism is that it gives a rise to racism
it is because of distorted ideas like yours that the whole world has found itself in this circle of terrorism. You do not believe in the brotherhood of mankind, humanity to you ends and begins with islam. This explains why some of you have sympathy for Boko haram and Isis. This is why many muslims with wacked idea of Islam in the Nigerian Army betrayed our efforts at ending the Boko haram insurgency because their lack of patriotism and NATIONALISM,they see the insurgents as their divinely ordained brothers and should be protected against the Nigerian state and of course, they shld continue killing they 'infidels'....You are part of the reason the world is being infested with brainwashed islamic youths.
PoliticsRe: Hausa Traders, Soldiers Clash In Mile 12 by AustineE1:
Am surprise at Nigerian soldiers,Mile 12 for long belong to the Hausas and no government in Lagos state ever dare to collect taxes or anything of such from that area,it is an unwritten law in Lagos. When these people are provoked, they chase everybody from that Area. Most Yoruba residents sleeps with one eye open, infact the Hausa boys even tax the resident of Mile 12 whenever they wish. Its such a pity,at times they impose levies on native yorubas.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Twitter Explodes As Debate Begins Over Buhari And Iara Oshiomole's Hand by AustineE1: 8:53pm On May 17, 2015
Either way,he is not suppose to be a Nigerian president in a democratic settings,he is too fundamentalist to be liberal and if he decides other wise, the fundamentalist will come for his head, like what is happening now.
My verdict, let him simply resign and fall back to his cow rearing at Daura.
God bless the good people of Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Pastor, 69 Christians Murdered In Plateau by AustineE1: 8:05am On May 17, 2015
While this genocide goes on,prominent middlebelterns like TY Danjuma,Gowon,Gen.Jerrymiah Usieni,Gen.John Shagaya,Gen.Dogon Yaro,Paul Onongu and others are busy gallivanting and seeking political positions and contracts, while their backyards are on fire.Cant these people call a meeting of greater middlebelt and come up with a stand on this issue, they all move around with pride of being powerful while people of your home land are massacred in the worst form of brutality known to mankind, what a big shame.
If it were in they days of Joseph Tarka,Paul Gindiri,Maigari, of blessed memory etc, they certainly will speak up and mobilize their people against this evil. Maj.Orkar will be turning in his grave and shedding tears of dissappointment.
PoliticsRe: Pastor, 69 Christians Murdered In Plateau by AustineE1: 7:43am On May 17, 2015
It is no longer news when christians in the middle-belt region are massacred, the Hausa-Fulani Jihadist hiding under the name Fulani cattlemen, are on a mission of conquest, what Othman Dan fodio could not accomplish, they are trying so hard to do,as an islamic duty.
Why this evil goes on the Nigerian state pretends as if all is well, the umbrella northern bodies, turn a blind eye,the Arewa consultative forum,Northern professionals, council of Ulamas,Muric,Northern elders forum etc all keep mute but the very day a northern muslim is killed, all hell is let loose.
Thats why some of us felt bittered when the middlebelt voted APC and a fulani man for that matter, the same people who only talk of one monolithic north during elections and after which the killing spree continues. My heart bleeds for the good people of middlebelt....time to take your destiny into your hands.

if anyone is a dullard then it the person you see anytime you look at your mirror. Define technocrat? Or you just want him to take random professional without party affiliation? where in the world is that done? read the profile of the likes of bayo ojo, lawanson, segun oni etc and if their resume isn't at least 5 pages then come back here and reply me
Dont go saying what you dont know, simply because you think you are doing your APC a favour. In most developed part of the world, even here in Nigeria,we have had times when core Technocrats were sourced from everywhere in the world without being affiliated to the so called party.
When OBJ invited Dr. ngozi Okonjo Iweala,Dr.Oby Okwesili,El-Rufai,also Nuhu Ribadu and a host of others to come and help restore Nigerias economy, they were non PDP members as at then but these people were recommended to OBJ by Nigerian diaspora community.Nuhu Ribadu was recommended by Atiku and then he wasn't a party man.We all witnessed how these men performed their duties to Nigeria judiciously. All i see in the APC list above,is a man trying very had to pay back his party men,the same old politicians who contributed in plundering the common wealth of Nigeria, are being rewarded in the most anticipated 'change'.....just hope the list is not true.

We are in for a long thing! any nation that allows insurgency to creep in,must be ready to forfeit its happiness....even the devilish islamist cabal that orchestrated this evil on Nigeria for political and religious reasons, would by now be regreting it. They created a monster to denigrate and distabilize GEJs regime, the aim has been achieved but the monster is now so big that it devours anything on his way.
My heart goes out to the people who are affected by this recent attack,we are with you on this,God is our strength.

PoliticsRe: Rivers State PDP Thumbs Police For Intercepting Amaechi’s “looted” Items by AustineE1: 6:50pm On May 13, 2015
This is exactly the problem i have with some of this 'later day saints',who are prophets of 'change',under the umbrella of APC. The same people who messed up Nigeria, battered our economy, looted our common wealth are suddenly claiming to be apostles of change.
Buhari like some said, may be a 'good' man but the greatest challenge facing him,is how he can manage these brutally minded criminal close friends of his. The only change acceptable to any patroitic Nigeria,is when he begins to throw all this serial looters whom sponsored his election with their ill-gotten wealth into prison, only then we shall take him serious.
Am nt surprise at Amaechi because he stinks with impunity,no morally upright man can have any thing to do with that dare devil criminal called Amaechi.

PoliticsRe: Angry Anambra State Youth Writes His Government by AustineE1:
Sorry to hear this but i have always known Isuofia and am surprise that the op painted such a gloomy picture of the town.First of all Isuofia has full electricity connection but if unfortunately supply of electricity light to the town is poor then is the fault of PHCN.
Meanwhile the tarred road from Egwolubia also got to Isuofia, however it may not have sufficiently taken care of the entire needs of the town....meanwhile Isuofia has men who have been in government and powerful Anambra interpreneurs who can easily speak up to the hearing of our amiable government, such as prof.Charlse Chukwuma Soludo former cbn governor and kpoko bros, the owner of WHIZ OIL,whom on his own tarred long stretch of roads in Isuofia.I expect that this people who eat and dine with the government should have a way to channel your grieviances.
Once more, let it be known that Anambra is a work in progress and sooner than later an internationally accepted mega city will rise in Anambra, which will be the pride of Africa.

All he said didnt make much difference, since we ve always known that the war against Boko Haram has some internal forces sustaining it.....however,the most important statement of fact he made,is that GeJ is a complete gentleman and a stateman to the core, who loves Nigeria and Africa so much and that APC would have shed a lot of innocent blood as usual, had it been they lost the elections.
PoliticsRe: It’s A Disgrace For Igbo To Beg Buhari For Appointments — Ohanaeze by AustineE1: 7:25am On May 09, 2015
When i saw those APC party stalwarts went to GMB asking him to consider giving Igbos appointments in his government,i knew from that moment that those few were sell-outs.How can you beg for what is legitimately yours, let GMB mess up in any way during his appointments and see how his already anticipated poor governance will crumble like a pack of cards......if he ever takes advice from myopic ethnic champions like Bola Tinubu then that would mark the end of his government.

BusinessRe: Throwback On The Remains Of The Biggest Market In West Africa by AustineE1: 11:03am On May 08, 2015
It was a terrible experience,i happen to be in Jos the very night it happened, that faithful day,i think on the 11th of Feb 2002 at about 11.30PM dark cloud hovered over Jos,it marked the end of an era,the end of beauty, the end of a master piece.
Prior to this, the tension in Jos was so palpable, the struggle for the ownership of Jos North between the indigenes(Berom) and the Hausas(settlers) got to its crescendo and the once spoken about most modern market in Africa became the victim of this inordinate ambition of the Hausa-Fulanis.
Though rumour also has it that the indigenes may equally have a hand in the disaster, whatever, the face of Jos will never be the same again.

RockMaxi:

huh huh Only in your world is she referred as a woman of valour.
SSS almost became a political instrument of PDP.

this is exactly the problem i have with APC supporters,as much as i hate being partisan in National issues, the attitude of APC as a party and its supporters is a bit worrisome.I have since observed that any institution that served the FG judiciously and effectively is hence tagged as working for PDP and APC fails to distinguish between serving the federal govt as led by PDP from serving the interest of PDP as a party. In the days ahead when APC led FG will be in charge of state affairs,i hope the ss will be given a free hand to operate.
INEC was seen by many as having manipulated the elections in favour of APC but every supporter of APC believes INEC performed well and that this is how government agencies should work, simply because it benefited APC. Lets get over myopic patriotism.

Marilyn Ogar one of the few women i respect so much, she is a professional to the core,a lady par excellence, distinguished her self among her peers, fearless, bold, courageous, determined and ever meticulous in her ways.
For how long are we going to keep bringing down the best minds we have on the altar of politics and naivety. It cost a lot to train a secret service agent to the level she is and at best, she is like a public institution, she is an embodiment of information and her wealth of 'intelligence' will continously be of great importance to Nigeria.....government is continum and GMB needs her and others around. We must learn to appreciate Nigerians especially Nigerian women who have distinguished themselves in their choosen professions,am looking forward to a day when she will be made the director general of ss,it simply means putting round pegs in round holes.

sometimes stupidity seems to be the only word that can best describe some of you.Do you think people in this forum dont live in Nigeria or at worst dont visit the country from time to time.I didnt need say much,i can tell you aside from some core northern states,am yet to see any part of Nigeria where you have the number of street urchins(alaye boys)beggars, touts, hawkers etc than what is obtainable in Lagos,Osun,Abeokuta, not to mention Ibadan which has the highest number of unprotected street children in Africa.
I try to avoid threads like this, because all it aims at is the promotion of ethnic jingoism.I wont say anything on education, the era of propaganda is over, people are beginning to see and know the truth about how educated each tribe may be!thanks to social media and main stream media.

The way and manner these minority christian tribes in the middle belt are massacred at any slightest provocation by the Hausa-Fulanis is not acceptable. The wickedly orchestrated self imposed northern oligarchy has classified the minority christian tribes as sub humans and should be wiped away in their quest to conquer new terrorities, with conspiracy with the Hausa-Fulani army, they are gradually wiping away the minority people of the north and the geographical expression called Nigerian constantly turns a blind eye, while these ethnic cleansing goes on.
If Hausa-Fulanis are by any means killed, you will hear AREWA consultative forum, council of ulamas,Northern elders council,MURIC,Northern professionals etc protesting such and threatening fire and brimstone,so i ask?is AREWA consultative forum representing only muslim core North? are christian northerners only regarded as northerners when their votes are needed during elections? These questions are begging for answers.....again power has gone back to the conservators of the old order and most of these middle-belterns innocently voted for this wicked old block and the evil conspiracy against them will now be carried out with state machinery.

Like you said it may have been under reported if at all it happened. The beast in people comes out open during wars and Boko haramites whom where reported to have fed on their wives, including Isis in Syria, every tale of war smells ugly. But what baffles me most is when people turn to cannibalism even during normal times,as has been largerly observed in parts of Nigeria,a case in mind is the highly reported Ibadan cannibals and parts of Osun.
