In all fairness,Fashola has tried as a governor,likewise past governors of Lagos,whom because of available resources at their disposal,are little ahead of other state governors!having said this,because of space lets just take a cursory look on the man Fashola!..Fashola is as corrupt like any other state governor,when he had issues with Tinubu,He Tinubu promised to open a can of worms and the state house of assembly was mobilizing to serve him an impeachment notice,going by facts of massive corruption they ve against him,he quickly went & started begging Tinubu & because he was as guilty as claimed.Tinubu himself looted lagos treasury but because Fashola can nt face the demi-god of ACN&yorubas,he was allowed to go scot free.Thesame Fashola dismissed doctors who went on strike to push home there demands,if it were PDP the whole newspapers wld have been awashed with the word'fascism of the highest order',.My conclusion,in other climes,Fashola can nt be a candidate for presidency,abating corruption makes you worst than the corrupt,i think Fashola is just a product of media over-hype!to the Yoruba media,the case of Fashola&ACN is 'hear no evil,see no evil'! |

What i understand is that GEJ has approved the building of 5 private refineries in Ogun state and not neccessarily been built by the federal govt,just like having private investors who are willing to build ten universities in a state,is only left for the investors to do feasibility studies & see if its viable!All GEJ has to do is to give the neccessary assistance,like tax wavers,enabling environment, removing unneccessary govt bureaucratic bottle-neck and then both during the contructn and when it starts working,nigerian youths will by employed and we will be better for it!BTW i heard Orient refinery in Anambra state,directly and indirectly has the capacity of employing thousands of youths,which is an avenue for youths empowermnt!this is nt a burden of the federal govt,these private institutns are showing confidence in the Nigerian state and this is so cos GEJ has assembled the best economic team,with tenacity of purpose to move Nigeria forward! 2 Likes |

I sympathise with Nigerians & non Nigerians who lost there lives in this dastard act of barbarism.while growing up in the North,its a common sight to see Hausa kids moving around with daggers,initially i thought its about religion but we ve also lived with southern muslim kids who never moved around with daggers.At the slightest provocatn this Hausa kids either stabs or threaten you with it,so i honestly do think that there is something of violence enshrined in the Hausa Fulani culture,this kids of yesterday has grown up to unleash the monster in them.Boko Haram,has always been with the North right from the days of Maitatsine,right from the days when Gideon Akaluka an ibo man was beheaded and celebrated in the street of Kano,right from the days when a Yoruba christain female teacher was unclad by her primary sch students in Bauchi,for nt respecting the Koran and was instantly murdered!the list is endless...this mindset of always blaming GEJ even when you fight with your wife must end,we must face reality and look in wards!The questn is,why was there an upsurge of violence in the North after GEJ won the electn?what happened to the threat by some prominent Northernres to make Nigeria ungovernable,if GEJ wins?what led to the killing of corpers,christains & non northerners in the North immediatly after the elctn?why are Northern elites evasive in condenming Boko haram?why are the putting the blame on the doors of GEJ&is there a secret pact not to allow a minority southern christain from being president?i rest my case. 1 Like |
