Joe igbokwe mobilizing few thugs in nnewi with Lagos and Tinubu money. |
You dont worry yourself, the coming days will prove if the will of INEC is greater than the will of the masses. |
Pierocash:You took the words out of my mouth,in the days ahead, the voice of the people will be heard...Nigeria is in for a long thing, you cannot stop an idea who's time has come, they can manipulate results but not the will and determination of Nigerians. |
iwaeda:Where in the world is destroying of public infrastructures like roads now a form of security measure. Barely 48hrs to the election,Mr Yahaya Bello just realised how unsafe central kogi is.'You can fool some of the people, some of the time but no all the people all the time'. This goes a long way to show how wicked our serial looting leaders in APC are. I pray Nigerians do the right thing by stopping Tinubu and his gang of blood suckers come saturday. |
Just imagine this arrant nonsense, rather than talking about sample size used in generating the result of the poll, they are telling us about identification of party logo. This is an admission that they have since lost the election and are hoping on people making mistake on the election day by thumb printing on the wrong logo. Lets vote wisely,a new Nigeria is posible. Obi/Datti for president. |
Nice one from the USA,front page pls. |
People still dont get it,CBN has not shifted ground, all they did is to ease the stress of depositing old notes. They are only out to decongest CBN branches nationwide due to pressure coming from Nigerians trying to deposit the old note.Going by the process of generating the required code for deposit, necessary data and information about you would have been collected and giving the initial process released by CBN for depositing old currencies, the money will be boxed and you can only access it after two weeks,by which time the presidential elections would have been over. The whole idea is to stop politicians who have stockpilled this old note for vote buying. I also observed that cases of kidnapping has drastically reduced nationwide. Wee will keep our fingers crossed. |
engrsyer:Why do you guys waste your time arguing with Tinubu urchins, pls allow them to wallow in there foolery,on the election day they will find out that Nigerians are not stupid and has since rejected Tinubu and other serial looters. The kind of crowd that came out today in Lagos was unprecedented,Obi infact locked down Lagos.I saw real organic love for Peter Obi,Nigerians of every tribe where represented and everybody agreed on one thing 'we must take back out country'. |
What the governor did was very right, what impudent...admitted, we have Eze Igbo in various states in Nigeria,as well as Hausas having Sarki Hausawa in various states, including south-East but to think of an emirate council is the height of insult, even Jos north of Plateau state they couldnt do such why even dream of it in the East. |
lhordspy:Does it matter who or where the commissioner of police comes from, all we seek is that he should be a true proffessional in carrying out his duties to all, except there is something sinister you wish from him and especially when your principal is notorious for employing the services of thugs and urchins during elections. I still dont understand why you think playing the ethnic card would help Tinubu,Nigerians of every tribe has rejected APC,hunger, poverty and insecurity knows no boundary,it is either we get it right now or never,a new Nigeria is possible. |
You are a bad market and as a sympathizer of boko haram,no true northerner will support you,we remember the intrigues that led to the adoption of Chibok girls while you are a governor in the state,we also remember that Kabiru Sokoto the notorious boko haram bomber was found in your lounge as a governor. In saner climes, you should be spending time behind bars and not campaigning for an electoral position. For Tinubu to have choosen you as a running mate truly proves that birds of the same feathers flocks together. |
Tinubu urchins went as for as bringing the old campaign video of pdp primaries, just to score a cheap point... Is this what Tinubu's campaign has been reduced to,what a disaster. |
blamingthedevil:If you want to get some attention, talk about Obi. Obi is now more like a religion,an idea who's time has come,it is either you follow him or the wind of change will carry you into irrelevancy. As for i and my family we are Obidient and we know that a now Nigeria is possible. |
ryloy:....and the deception goes on. |
I smell treason,Tinubu has seen that he is going no where and has taken to violence and this is the only language he understands,if he is not sponsoring Agberos(street urchins),he is backing Omo nile's,or he is using NURTW thugs,if this man ever ascends to the seat of presidency, what happened to Dr Funsho Williams will happen to any top opposition members. |
If this happens,Tinubu may attempt to redeem his battered image by stepping down for Peter Obi. Though with or without Tinubu stepping down,Peter Obi will win in a fair contest against Atiku and Kwankwaso combined. |
This calls for sober reflection among the supporters of the two parties reffered to in the write-up,how long more are we going to live in this self imposed calamity. If we dont VOTE them out, then we cannot be blessed with the grace of light as a nation. |
*PLEASE, VOTE FOR MY OWN THIEF* _By *Sunny Agboju*_ Lagos 25.01.23 0410 hrs. Many years ago, in my secondary school days, a student would pilfer another's pen. When the victim complained, the common response he got was, "Ojhi chiojhi", meaning in Urhobo Language, "a thief has stolen from a thief." This was because the thieves knew who the thieves were. The ongoing debacle to outdo each other of who's the thief between the APC and PDP Presidential flag bearers reminds me of those secondary school days. In their usual votes-theft, the duo know their four-yearly game, and both are trying to undo, if not entirely eliminate the other, as insurance against the only way they know how to win elections - rigging. PDP ruled for straight 14 years and took Nigeria to what we then thought was a terrible abyss. Despondent Nigerians gleefully voted for a redundant, retired general, known for literally being without emotional visceral pericardium, a leader without any iota of the milk of human kindness. Under his watch, Nigeria has suffered the worst form of international denigration and psychic humiliation. In sane climes, APC wouldn't dare mention it's name in public places. But this clime is not sane, neither is APC sober. They flaunt their wares with effrontery while some insane citizens applaud with satanic frenzy. Such, dear reader, is the nature of our country. The parties of swindlers and thieves have put forward their chief swindlers and their chief thieves for the highest office in the land. Without fear, without shame, without the slightest reverence of angry repercussions, in fact, in bold, fastidious arrogance, either party is asking us to vote for its own thief. Unfortunately, Nigeria is a country where the high and mighty manipulate news, where judges manipulate the law, where smart lawyers keep killers out of jail and smart accountants keep thieves from paying taxes. That is why both parties have the impudence to present two most veritable thieves as their presidential candidates. Two thieves who, in and out of office, stole enough to be able to buy delegates during party primaries and now are seeking to buy the oncoming elections. My take is that since BAT and Atiku had both variously belonged to the same party and were both in government for the same period (2003-2011), one is not surprised that they know themselves so well as to recognize the innate qualities of brazen thievery and insatiable appetite for power in either. That Tinubu calls Atiku Abubakar a confirmed thief while Atiku calls Tinubu a confirmed drug baron tells us that both of them are saying the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. If nothing else, these accusations are enough to jolt Nigerians to wakefulness. Nothing could be truer than their words. Each of them mean what they're saying and can attest to each other's doom. Funny enough, Nigeria is a country of ironies: we spit on petty thieves but deify the large criminals, such as the acknowledged, accredited, and accomplished thieves as haply paraded by APC and PDP. According to Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, in his January 15, 1966 coup speech, "...Our enemies are the political profiteers, the swindlers, the men in high and low places that seek bribes and demand 10 percent, those that seek to keep the country divided permanently so that they can remain in office as ministers or VIP's at least, the tribalists, the nepotists, those that make the country look big for nothing before international circles, those that have corrupted our society and put the Nigerian political calendar back by their words and deeds." In today's Nigeria, Atiku and Tinubu lead the squad so ably and evidently described above. These are amongst the key characters that have held Nigeria in the jugular for so long we can't breath. These are the selfsame persons who in ideal climes should be cooling their tails in jails or, at best, be hiding their heads in shame for the ills and ill-fortunes they've foisted upon our fatherland. Fellow Nigerians, as you prepare to cast your votes, be aware that if you elect thieves into office they'll not only steal your destiny but also deepen the enslavement you and your family are already experiencing. If you elect politicians who are certified thieves, you'd have inadvertently sold your birthright, thereby being the architect of your own misfortune. And if you're one of those who ignorantly say they won't vote, you'd end up being governed by the same thieves that you already know. Therefore, if you want good governance, where equal rights and justice are upheld, where you'll have equal opportunities to quality education and employment, vote wisely. I bet you know what I mean by you voting wisely. He who knows what to do and does not do it, is a fool. Likewise, he who desires a different result yet keeps doing exactly the same thing, is mad. Everytime I listen to APC and PDP supporters, I flinch - because it reminds me of my father's admonishment, that when a man tries to prove to you that he's not a thief, guard your purse. The more both thieves struggle to prove they're not thieves, the more Nigerians are left without doubts that they truly are thieves. After all, only thieves readily recognize thieves. As both parties whitewash their sepulchre candidates, we can summarize all their words in two short sentences, viz: *PLEASE, VOTE FOR MY OWN THIEF. He is better than the other thief.* Fellow Nigerians, please VOTE WISELY - a word is enough for the wise. _By *Sunny Agboju*_ Management Consultant & Digital Entrepreneur. Lagos 25.01.23 0410 hrs. |
In the East presently,if you dont have your PVC people look at you as an idi*the, presently must churches and establishments will deny you much needed services without your PVC. This election will be different from every other,'our mumu don do'. |
You can decieve some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time...A new Nigeria is possible,we must take back our country. On Obi/Datti we stand! |
Penguin2:Better words has never been spoken, you trashed the ethnic bigot from every corner. They have tried everyway possible to reduce this election to their usual tribal battle but we Nigerians of every tribe are now wiser and they more this Tinubu urchins try to reduce the campaign to an ethnic war the more well meaning Nigerians are distancing from them.In other words this 'format no longer works'. Hunger and insecurity knows no boundry or tribe in Nigeria,we are all victims of the same maladministration. A new Nigeria is possible. |
Why wont MODs take this to front page, had it been its Tinubu,it would long had been on front page. We know that nairaland MODs has engaged in this shenanigan on the prompting of Seun. What will be will be,you cant stop a movement whose time has come. |
bizzibodi:Violence as a way of settling social-economic injustices is both barbaric and reproachable, seadogs i know, dont take to violence, there pens are there weapons, they agree to disagree, they dont destroy what the cannot create(human life),they choose dialogue over monologue, they are advocates of like-minds coming together to build an egalitarian society, where the strong protects the weak. |
SadiqBabaSani:Thats not the issue,'suffering no dey tire you'. O yea slaves listen to the voice of reason 'the forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe,for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood,he was one of them,' Lets get together and save our country from the shackles of economic scavengers and serial looters. Kudos to Seadogs for speaking for the masses!!! |
Jos township stadium is filled to capacity,no breathing space.....i salute Jos people. |
