Nigeria is the way it is because lies have permeated every facet of our polity. Christians lie while giving testimonies in church that they are Pyrates when they are not. Now i have read thread of people who say they lost their jobs because they refused to join them after their bosses gave them forms to fill and join, another said they enter their offices with their backs turned. I have been a member of National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity for over 29years, i reside in Port HARCOURT and i work in the Oil and Gas Company, infarct after graduation , i resided at Rumuomasi a walking distance from Shell Oil Company. Every Interview i went for , i applied through Gaudian Newspapers, I finally joined as a contract staff in the AFAM Project, infarct i got the information through a female friend , i was interviewed by white, I have never been assisted by any Pyrate, infarct as a Pyrate it is expected that you are well informed. My point is people should say what they know rather than lying and thereby complicating an already bad situation. I don't know the workings of Vikings, Buccaneer's etc and so it will be wicked of me to call them names that conjure in my head just to make people have negative image about them.
LIES DESTROY, IT KILLS, SAY WHAT YOU TRULY KNOW LYING AGAINST PEOPLE IS ACTUALLY A SIN AND HAVE CONSEQUENCES.
Pally, information is power, some people have choosen to dwell in ignorance and no matter how much you try to educate them, they will never learn.

The stupid governor never made mention of how Fulani terrorists herdsmen has been ravaging every part of the south, killing people, damaging businesses and leaving a trail of blood wherever they go to. As usual we are always told that govt is on top of the situation and all we get is proposal to give the fulani terrorist amnesty.

Some of this Yoruba people are impossible, always trying to find a way out to cover their suffering, always playing the ostrich.
You know as well as I know, igbos and Yorubas have different cultural orientation,an average igbo man will die defending his native land, igbos by nature are expansionary and woe unto Fulanis if they ever think they can occupy an inch of Igbo territory illegally,it will amount to declaration of war,we don't want war but we are ever willing to fight one whenever the need arises, that's Igbo man for you. Legitimate Fulani's,like every other citizens of Nigeria are welcomed to south East but any attempt to play the Illorin card will be met with full blown war.
Like in business,an igbo man will die for what believes in,anyday anytime. God bless Africa.

A British boxer with Nigerian decent, Lawrence Okolie, has emerged the world Cruiserweight Champion in boxing after stopping his opponent, Glowacki, with a sixth round knockout.

The best part of the news is the story behind the rise of this 28 year old.

He was overweight which means that he was a butt of jokes to bullies and he was quickly loosing his self worth before he hit the gym just to build his confidence.

Fidelity Leaderboard
At the gyms, he was discovered as a great talent in boxing, and he quickly made it to the world stage.

Elizabeth, his mum, gave him all the support he needed to be a great boxer and to make the best out of his life.

Her dreams for him was for him to become a professor, but, Lawrence opted to be a pugilist.

When he was starting out, he kept it away from his Mum, but when it became good and gainful, he let her know and her support has been unwavering.

Today, he is the Cruiserweight Boxing Champion of the World.

PoliticsRe: Ụmụ Igbo Let's Apply Caution On ESN by AustineE1: 6:55am On Mar 23, 2021
The truth is that ESN is loved by most Igbos,it is seen as a 'child of necessity',part of its success lies on the fact that the govt of the day has failed in its basic responsibility of protecting lives and properties of Nigerians and the impunity in which the Fulani terrorist headers has been operating,it does seem as if they are a privilege terrorist group.
However,ESN on the other side must not see everybody with contrary opinion as an enemy, moreover you wouldn't expect a first class Igbo king like Igwe Achebe who is bestowed with fatherly responsibilities not to seek for peace among Nigerians and I have actually not seen any reason for criticising the Igwe except when proven otherwise.

SpecialAdviser:
I remembered how some people were applauding him saying he has the right to appoint those he feels comfortable to work with.

To them, they were rejoicing at Igbos marginalisation and found that as an avenue to mock and spite Igbos.

Today, they can see the level of damage such actions have done to nations building.

Karma is surely a beautiful bride as the chicken has come to roost.
You want a progressive country but jealousy and hatred can never allow you to condemn evil. Is that not madness?
Bros I concur with you, nemesis is a bitch,it strikes when you don't expect it. When he was promoting tribalism and nepotism of the worst order, some supposedly educated tribe and people, applauded him, simply because the think the Igbos are at the receiving end but some of us saw the danger from a far. Nnamdi kalu was becoming more popular with his message, more cool headed igbos started fraternizing with him,Buharis body language, statements, appointments, location of major projects to mainly the areas of the so called 98% that voted him,was gradually creating a generation of regional jingoist and warriors, who now see others from different regions as enemies. The spirit of patriotism to Nigerian state died so quickly under Buhari, what goes around comes around. In the coming days and years, that's when Buhari and his cohorts will see the level damages they have done to this once great nation.
Our nation has fallen apart but our tragic hero in Aso Rock has failed to realise it...there can never be peace without justice!
Some people get away with crime because they are from a certain tribe, sooner than later, there will be balance of terror, every region will develop a standing army and the balkanization begins in full force. 'the denial of our rights is an invitation to fight for it!!!!!

Tinubu is trapped in his own dangerous scheme.

He is not talking...not because he is not worried about the plight of the Yorubas but for his own self preservation.

It's no longer about 2023 presidency ambition.

Most politicians will do the same. Self has to go first before the people.

The cabal has a lengthy dossier about his dealings which he knows are not very good. So he dare not, if he wants to be free.

This regime is brutal..it's not like GEJ's
I guess by now Tinubu will be regretting his decision to back an unapologetic nepotistic dictator as the president of Nigeria, simply because they felt GEJ is from a minority tribe and does not fit into their occultic hegemonic circle
of power control in Nigeria.
Tinubu can still make it right,if he decides now to stand with the masses, power belongs to the people. The ruling cabal will never and can never hand over power to Tinubu for obvious reasons,he must smell the coffee!!!!time is running out,as it stands,he will lose his political base and will still lose out of the presidency,I so submit.

If the Islamic core North feels that alcohol consumption goes against the tenet of there believe, why not allow others to do their business in peace.
In Nigeria,Muslim north hypocrisy stinks to high heavens, they have never for once rejected the massive revenues accruing from Alcohol tax, rather they take the lion shares like a glutton and still shout haram at the sight of alcoholic drinks, when even at night, they drink to stupor while hiding.

Hisbah confiscates 260 crates of alcoholic drinks in Bauchi
By 247ureports- February 2, 2021

The Bauchi State Hisbah Board has confiscated 260 crates of alcoholic drinks from hotels and night clubs as part of its effort to enforce Sharia Islamic code.

Malam Aminu Balarabe the permanent commissioner in charge of Hisbah and Sharia implementation made this known while displaying the the commodity in Bauchi on Tuesday.

He said 216 crates were confiscated in Misau local government area and 44 in Bauchi club and some beer parlours located in Dass park in Bauchi metropolis.

” We will continue to beam our searchlight to unravel perpetrators of such misdemeanors” he said.

He said the department would soon seek for a court order to destroy the items as the subsisting Sharia law which was implemented in 2003 has unequivocally prohibits sales and consumption of alcoholic drinks.

Balarabe who displayed the confiscated drinks at the premises of the state Sharia commission explained that no fewer than six operators of beer parlours were arrested during the patrol and they would soon be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others.

”The only places where sales and consumption of alcoholic drinks are allowed are Military and Police barracks,National parks. We are fully committed to implementing our mandate,” he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Hisbah department in Bauchi, recently arrested some young men in Tafawa Balewa LGA who specialise in organising sex parties and committing other criminal tendencies.

Malam Aminu Idris, the permanent commissioner in-charge of Hisbah and Sharia implementation, told NAN that the suspects were in the habit of organising disco parties, locally called Gwaidu, during which they lured young girls into illicit sexual relationships, while at times they used force to intimidate innocent people.

NAN reports that after discreet investigations, the commissioner said, the state Hisbah office summoned the parents of the culprits, counselled them and made them to sign an undertaking against repeating the offence.

Idris said the Hisbah department would, hence forth, not hesitate to prosecute such culprits in a competent court of law, stressing, “As a Lawyer I will do everything possible to ensure that our existing laws were not flagrantly violated.”

He appealed to the state government to hasten the appointment of the state Hisbah Board, as well as provide additional financial and logistics support to the department to enable it perform optimally.

Gowon buried outcome of investigation which revealed that 1966 coup was not Igbo Coup – ABC Nwosu
Former Minister of Health, Prof. Alphonso Nwosu has disclosed that he is in possession of the Police report of the 1966 coup conducted by former Inspector General of Police, MD Yusuf which showed that the coup was not an Igbo Coup.

Prof. Nwosu who spoke during a video conference with Elombah Television explained that MD Yusuf submitted the report of the investigation to Yakubu Gowon, then Chief of Army Staff, but Gowon did not submit it to the Supreme Military Council.

He said that MD Yusuf was Commissioner in charge of Special branch when the investigation was conducted .

He said that Major Ademoyega in his book made clear the reason behind the coup. “He was one of the five Majors that planned the coup.”

The Army majors were Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Timothy Onwuatuegwu, Chris Anuforo, Don Okafor, Humphrey Chukwuka, and Adewale Ademoyega.

Nwosu explained the Igbo could not have planned when they had Nnamdi Azikwe as Head of State and ceremonial President, President of Senate, Nwafor Orizu who became acting President, Chief Army staff , Aguiyi Ironsi, and the first Nigerian to be made permanent secretary.

“The five majors that planned the coup were fed with the direction the country was going due to corruption in the country and the crisis in the west.

In his words,”There have to be an excuse for attacking Igbo who were. setting up shops, buying land everywhere and building houses, and that is they termed it an Igbo coup.

“Ademoyega wrote in his book ‘why we struck’, he was a core member of the five majors, why don’t people read it?

He was in Biafra, it was not about Igbo coup, why should they plan a coup for against Azikwe their President, President of Senate, Nwafor Orizu who became acting President, and Chief Army staff , Aguyi Ironsi?https://elombah.com/how-gowon-buried-md-yusuf-report-about-the-1966-coup/

Pope Francis has appointed the auxiliary bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Anambra State, Denis Isizoh, into the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

The Catholic bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor disclosed this in congratulatory message to Isizoh on Tuesday obtained by our correspondent.

He described Isizoh’s appointment as a cheering one, stating that his elevation would bring about a lot of positive developments and goodwill to the people of God, especially to the Nigerian Catholics.

He said, “Bishop Isizoh’s appointment is a square peg in a square hole. He is more than qualified and grounded in that area. It is a familiar terrain for him. He worked closely with Cardinal Arinze.
