First it was Aborigine Ogboni and then came the reformed Ogboni fraternity. We all knew of OPC and now there is the reformed OPC.....please can any yoruba tell us what was actually wrong with the first before the reform. Waiting with bated breath to see reformed Remi Tinubu, that will be respectful, cultured, humble, civilized and behave in a motherlike way. Apology for the digression. |
This is exactly what Nigeria has degenerated to,everything is now politics, the way this present political perverts running the affairs of this nation is going,i know very soon something drastic would happen....youths who are also victims of this elite manipulations, will come to social media to defend this oppressors. I call such youths 'victims of darkness'. Imagine Remi Tinubu once refering the Tinubus as 'Lagos',meaning they own and determine everything in Lagos and those who shld fight this profane oligarchy, are they once their sisters and mothers are protesting on behalf of Remi Tinubu. I call them 'victims of darkness',they no longer reason for themselved, thats the lowest ebb anyone can get to in a society. |
When i look up,the sky is always blue....Batsuahyi,Kante,still counting! The blues will always be the pride of London.!!! |
You dont need to belabour yourself....ndigbo,even your greatest enemies knows your strength,i love the never dying spirit. One love! |
These days, all roads seems to lead to Anambra state. |
HungerBAD:....and after which we now have a sedated president who seems to have been asleep for the past one and half yrs. In which case it seems like whenever he wakes up,he makes one economic blunder and goes back to his sedated mood. God please save Nigeria from bad leaders. |
It seems everything in this country has been bastardize, our men and women of the police force, paramilitary and military who has worked so hard to enviable ranks, are constantly retired or dismissed on the altar of cheap politics. Tax payers money are spent sending these men to the best trainings available and when they are to be useful to us,they are unceremoniously retired or dismissed. So the wrong message is constantly sent across to the rank and file of our forces, who now believe that there is no need for hard work, once you have a god father in the government of the day,you can rise above your superiors. Hence the morale of junior officers is very low, when boko haram started, we went to war,we found out that the best hands may have been retired or no longer available to offer their services to Nigeria, the rest is history. |

In other climes miscreants are meant to be in prisons but in Nigeria, miscreants are honoured with ministerial positions. |
In a 'banana republic',monkeys are gods! ....tyranny as a way of governance, can never last forever, the state actors must have a date with judgement and there ends are worst than that of their victims e.g Idi Amin of Uganda,Mobutu Seseseko of Zaire,Gaddaffi of Libya,Sani Abacha of Nigeria,Paul Pot of Cambodia,Hitler of Germany, the list is endless. I rest my case! |
When others are struggling for survival,my state through prudent has more than enough to dish out. Moreso i trust communities in Anambra state,as usual there will be intense competition on which town will come out with the best project....some towns will even generate more money and add to it. |
carreport:why showing selected names and not the full list,or is someone having a sinister motives or trying to hide something away from the unsuspecting public. We demand the full list of the 200 sacked military officers or nothing, why shielding it from the public. |
The government agent /militant is playing his part,to satisfy his masters who are so scared that if these groups (IPOB & Avengers)team up,that will be the end of Nigeria. Btw IPOB wants sovereign state of Biafra and Avengers wants a Niger-Delta republic and i think thats their common ground, freedom from the oppressors in Abuja. Each may be seperate nations but with common love for freedom and corroborate if they so wish. The 'general' shld save his warning. |
'Those who make peaceful change impossible, makes violent change inevitable'.... 'the denial of our rights is an invitation to fight for it'.....the bombing in south-south and the Biafra uprising in the south-East,this may be the beginning of the end of this forced marriage called Nigeria. Everybody on his own,God for us all! |
stephliet:you are wise! |
'At the end posterity will be judge you by your contributions to humanity and how much role you played in making the world a better place'-anonymous God bless you sir, Gov.Willie Obiano! |
Well said!....the good thing is that Informatn technology has made it so easy to keep facts and figures. Nobody should worry much about the incessant killings,Igbos are well educated and a team of igbo citizen reportors and freelancers are keeping all the details needed to nail the junta. Even if the country still remains one or nt,three years is just by the corner and Mr president, chief of Army staff, director of DSS et al will definately have a date with ICJ. They shld enjoy the killings why it last. The former junta of Chad, was last week sent to life imprisonment, for similar offences. The Igbo diasporan community are also watching and a lot is been done. Time holds the key! |
tsdarkside:igbos will never do it,encouraging those who killed, looted and burnt their HOST....no!no!no!we cant support such. They should the full wrath of the law. Btw,have they concluded investigation and found them innocent or they were released because they are Hausa-Fulanis(the untouchables). |
JaredNormak:bad guy! |
Igbos thinking home for the right reasons... Kudos to UOK |
When Ogun,Osun and their ilks were rushing for a bailout fund, they knew the consequences, ofcourse 'there are no free meal anywhere on earth, some one must ve paid for it'. For a long time, govt will continously deduct from some states, some of us were against the bailout fund and we where called all sort of names, now the chicken has come back home to roast...its pay back time. The sane bailout fund governors misused, now everybody is suffering for their excesses. |
cramjones:i must say,am nt disappointed in you,of course i have always known you are a crass idi*t,can any thing good ever come from you? Sycophancy and feeding from the crumbs of notable men, only makes you a dummy...you sound pathetic and i weep for your ilk. How i wish you will one day have access to freedom and liberation from mental slavery. |
I have underlined this sentense 'dont you know we Fulani's own Nigeria'....we shall see, ticky! ticky! taka! the boogeyman is getting closer, where ever you are get ready, Mr fulani man. |
blackpanda:] i wldnt ve honoured you with an answer since its obvious that many of you are irredeemable. You systematically avoided pertinent issues that was raised, while playing the ostrich. 800 boko haram members were given a back door amnesty, fulani herdsmen killing Nigerians indiscriminately and tagged 'Libyans',by the leadership of my country, billions of naira secretly brought out to create grazing routes for 'Libyans' from the coffers of a dying economy. 85 percent of appointment given to the choosen section and the goose that lays the golden eggs, only having 'representatives' according to you....and the usual defence line,'does it really matter where they come from,as long as they perform'. Who is fooling who in Nigeria. An unguided utterance from your president refering some as 5 percent, cld ve been forgiven but he went ahead to prove to all that he meant what he said, his appointments and directives purely points to it. A president that never obeyed any constitutional authority, refused to honour Oputa panel, presidential debate etc wants to subject an ex-president to his own authority, thats gross foolishness. A court grants bail today, you come up with trumped up charges to keep humiliating your victims. More than ever before,we now have a leader that is fast pushing Nigeria to the precipice, must everybody like you and vote for you, even going by the fact that you are the least ever qualified to rule a 21st century Nigeria. Your Effc, has never heard of the name Rotimi Amaechi,Fashola,Atiku,Halliburton scandal,Tinubu etc....dont come telling me to provide evidence, the way they got evidence against the opposition,is the way they shld gather evidence against this once. Lets say the truth for once or Nigeria may soon seize to exist and we may never have the chance to dialoque again. |
blackpanda:Honestly, dont you see that people seems to have sympathy for the Avengers and this is so because of the way the present regime is running the country. The problem with we Nigerians is that we only say the truth when it favours us. Can any reasonable leader come out and tell the world that a section of his country is classified as five percent and do not deserve equal treatment as the choosen 95 percent and you waive it aside and expect things to go normally, na wa!!! You make appointment at the federal level and 80 percent goes to the choosen section and you think that you are nt alienating others more and more, thereby creating more sympathy and foot soldiers for the militants. A particular choosen ethnic group moves around with AK47,carrying out ethnic cleansing and they are treated with kid glove and after they would have the temerity to occupy the land of their victims and you think others are not taking note. You throw people in jail indiscriminately and pass judgement on national TV before the court hears such case and blatantly disobey court rulings. You rode to power on intergrity, you are applauded by we Nigerians for fighting corruptn but turns a blind eye once the accused is from your party, lets stop pretending,we all know the truth. You wldnt want to continue with amnesty but you are indirectly giving amnesty to murderous boko haram members who surrendered. The truth is that no true Nigerian will like the way our national heritage is been blown up by the militants, just simply to pass a message across but the president must stop being confrontational, overly nepotic, must listen to Nigerians and lead by example. A national conference was held last year on how best to restructure the country but guess what, some people prefer things to remain lopsided,'monkey the work babboon the chop'. If you claim to have intergrity then you shld be willing to do the right thing. .....'if you bury lies it dies,if you bury truth,it sprouts over and over again'. |
If only government can key in and assist him and then he will definately keep improving on it......rather than going to Germany, just to buy a good artificial limb. 'J-town got talent'. |
This is still in tandem with the Anambra master plan, which is more like Dubai in the making. Let no one come here and start telling me that we cant make Anambra look like Dubai or even better. There is the political will on the side of the governor,we have the human resources,as a people we have the financial capacity,we have the zeal,we are very ambitious,we are focus driven,we are also motivated by the fact that we have a president that classified us as 5%,who are to be marginalized. We did it after the civil war beyond every expectations, our detractors couldnt explain how we got to where we are. Our welly travelled people, the diasporan community,we have vast business connections, our intellectual community, our sports men and women and the entertainment familiy, are now keying into the vision of our able governor. We dont beg for the non existing foriegn investors,we are mobilizing our people from all parts of the world and we are investing greatly at home....Akwa is more like a private development site, everybody is building something in an organise and meticulous way. Yes we can do it!!! #Anambracandoit. |
Shewunoshewa:i may no longer honour you with a response, you sound too empty, imagine saying 'majority of Igbos' besieged PMB for forgiveness and what have you! An ethnic group of over forty million people, meaning about thirty million or more Igbos trooped to PMBs office for the so-called 'forgiveness'. Your reasoning is so much screwed that you now think its a sin to campaign or vote against PMB,forgiveness for what? Even you Yorubas, including your Obas were flocking to GEJ for handout,if Igbos or any Igbo chooses to mingle with PMB for selfish or whatever benefit,it is his right,he is still a Nigerian for the time being and shouldnt be apologetic for doing that. |
Shewunoshewa:so all of a sudden,Fayose is now a Yoruba hero, your double stand as a people has broken world record. Can you explain to us your reasons for detesting GEJ?firstly, your people complained of marginalizatn and then a high powered committee led by OBJ approached GEJ and insisted that he must make a Yoruba the speaker of House of Rep.failure for which he lost their support. Can you also tell us why they Yorubas refused to support PMB in his previous elections?it is simply because he used a non Yoruba as his vice, precisely he used Chuba Okadigbo an Igbo man. While the Igbos standing firm as usual, never supported PMB,even when an Igbo man was his vice, knowing his antecedent. Hence, this same PMB whom the Yorubas so much detested and called all sorts of names using parapo ngb*ti press, suddenly became an angel when it became obvious that his deputy is going to come from South West. Can you in all honesty tell me that you wld ve given thesame level of support you gave to PMB,if the deputy were either,Ngige,Rochas or Amaechi? Pls this questn is begging for an urgent answer! |
Nigerian authority should reach out to disgruntled groups and see how the conditions they gave cld be met if possible,it is absolutely unnecessary being overly confrontational, diplomacy and dialogue shld be the order of the day. Going around bribing or funding other camps in the Niger-Delta,inother to bring disharmony, can only lead to more crisis, cult wars, militants vs militants and more aggrieved groups emerging and this will never do Nigeria any good,as witnessed in the past. PMB must also learn to operate an all-inclusive government,be more nationalistic,nt classifying some as 5% who deserve less, shun tribalism and nepotism, fight corruptn in totality and nt just the opposition, bring an end to the genocide committed by Fulani herdsmen on other Nigerians, stop indiscriminate arrest of disssenting voices, obey the orders of the law courts. When all this is done, the militants will lose sympathy, the will definately backout from sabotaging the economy and then there will be the willness of Nigerians from every section of the country to contribute their quota to its development. |
This looks like an article from the office of Mr lai Mohammed. |
When you think you ve heard the worst, another comes up!...our president goes around calling Nigerians thieves, corrupt and all sorts of demeaning names and then the international community keys into it and say derogatory things about us. Buhari is truly a round peg in a square hole. |
