Nigerian authority should reach out to disgruntled groups and see how the conditions they gave cld be met if possible,it is absolutely unnecessary being overly confrontational, diplomacy and dialogue shld be the order of the day. Going around bribing or funding other camps in the Niger-Delta,inother to bring disharmony, can only lead to more crisis, cult wars, militants vs militants and more aggrieved groups emerging and this will never do Nigeria any good,as witnessed in the past. PMB must also learn to operate an all-inclusive government,be more nationalistic,nt classifying some as 5% who deserve less, shun tribalism and nepotism, fight corruptn in totality and nt just the opposition, bring an end to the genocide committed by Fulani herdsmen on other Nigerians, stop indiscriminate arrest of disssenting voices, obey the orders of the law courts. When all this is done, the militants will lose sympathy, the will definately backout from sabotaging the economy and then there will be the willness of Nigerians from every section of the country to contribute their quota to its development. |
This looks like an article from the office of Mr lai Mohammed. |
When you think you ve heard the worst, another comes up!...our president goes around calling Nigerians thieves, corrupt and all sorts of demeaning names and then the international community keys into it and say derogatory things about us. Buhari is truly a round peg in a square hole. |
Woe betide those who quickly rushed to this thread just to celebrate Psquares down fall...God pass you! Psquare may you continue to move from pillars to pillars,'may God make a banquet for you where all you enemies can see you'-psalm 23. |
Mr Buhari is so predictable, when the last comptroller retired,APC in their usual propaganda said he was sacked by Buhari because he wants to address the inbalance in ministry of interior. Since most heads of the various agencies are mostly from the North and non from the East. I told his online E-dogs that Buhari can not look beyond North for this appointment, they called me names,Lo and behold that day has come and i am now vindicated. Waiting for them to come and twist the story again as usual. |
Keneking:you strike a picture of a frustrated man, whenever you comment....let me advice you, hatred is like an acid, its burns its container more than its intended victim. Life is beautiful, smile and the world will smile back at you. Dont allow envy and hatred destroy you. I wish you well. |
It is better the way you came out to dispute it because right now 'witches and wizards' from a section of the country are masturbating over the news and celebrating in their covens. Whom God has blessed,no man can stop him......your enemies will come in one way but they will be scattered in so many ways. We love you, keep investing in Nigeria, for good intentioned youths all-over Nigeria crave to work for you. |
willyede:you must be living in Aso Rock for you to still have 2hrs of electricity daily,as for me,i have ve been powering my house and office for like months now. I know there are areas without electricity since late last year. |
This is what you get when your governor can boast of PHD in auditing and has worked at the highest level of the organized private sector as an auditor in chief. Before i forget, his deputy also has his doctorate, this is simply puting round pegs in round holes. All to the glory of God! Anambra adigo nma! |
I said it earlier, that the greatest problem facing south-west,is what to do with the army of unemployed and unemployable youths littering the streets of Lagos and neigbouring states. The bible states it clear that,an idle man is an evils workshop'. They move around in groups envying youths of their age from other parts of Nigeria making a living from hard work. ....i still dont understand why some section of this country celebrate miscreants and it is now so much engrained in them, that they now think its an acceptable way of live. During elections politicians use and dump them back to the street and the terror goes on. |
The man was due for retirement and must never be attributed to PMB trying in any way to correct the imbalance in ministry of interior. If thats the case, then we shld expect more heads of parastals to leave their post in the coming days because the present government is so skewed against some zones, that even the president ardent supporters are worried that the president appears to be so bias and nepotic. In few days time, you will hear the name of the new appointee and it is going to be the usual suspects, that explains 'one Nigeria' to them. |
perp:Dont forget they may be indigens of the community and beyond the betraying and neo-imperialistic nature of chevron, they are duty bound as a community to protect their people, whether chevron or nt. This report reminds me of Nigerian police, who goes about arresting anybody seen at the vicinity of a crime, without any investigation, just because oga said he wants the criminals arrested. |
When desperation sets in,mistakes becomes the order of the day!....'it is better for hundred thieves to escape justice than an innocent man to be unjustly prosecuted'-anonymous. |

Mamman Vasta was killed because of envy, history has it that he out shined IBB in every facet of life, while in elementary school he was a better student than IBB,he was brighter in the military academy and shone in flying colours. All the while, there was hidden animosity nutured by IBB and being maverick in nature,he had anticipated a Mamman Vasta wld come after him,if he derails in governance,so the best and only option, was extermination. Though IBB once said that killing of Mamman Vasta was a great mistake he will forever live to regret. Dont forget that IBB was said to be a student of Machiavelli and read the 'prince of power',while as a president. Hence the golden rule 'every leader must plan a semblance of adversity against himself,so when he overcomes it,his image is enhanced'. Thus, stage manage a coup, kill your antagonists and a send a message to intending mutineers that you are super powerful. Welcome into the world of military intrigues and power struggle! |
9jacrip:Op, sorry to rein in your parade, how can an association which prides itself on fairness, equity and justice,so excluded certain people from membership. It is on record that in ancient Yoruba kingdom, even till date, the Odis in Ode who are regarded as slaves are never permitted to be members of the group. A group the takes membership not by the strength of the individuals character but on the basis of his birth. The Ogbonis whom i known, wld always make refrence to the 'fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of mankind'. Which is exactly the opposite of what they represent. Hence the ogbonis favourite verse in the bible Eziekel 23:23. Which basically spoke about the assemblage of noble men. Ogboni in truth,is clandestine, its members are extra-dimensional,some or most practice african voodoo....I didnt just say this, because i can actually testify to what am saying. |

Its just a pity that Nigeria has deteriorated to the level we now find ourselves, where deception and mass hypnotism of a cross section of Nigerians(those referred to as Zombies) is practised as a system of governance. What exactly is the difference between 'amnesty' and 'rehabilitating and re-integrating' of these terrorists into the society. someone is trying to play with semantics,Mr Buhari has always nurtured this idea of Amnesty for boko haram members. Dont forget when he accused GEJ of killing boko haram members, whom he described as their brothers in the north while offering amnesty to Niger-Delta militants. Mr Buhari has shown as the days passes by that,he is incompetent,ill-qualified,lacks mental capacity and the political will to truly govern a 21st century Nigeria. My fear is that the contraption called Nigeria will break earlier than ever expected, because Mr Buhari is making all the wrong moves. |
When a nomadic fulani herdsman becomes your president expect cow dungs.. |
omenka:One is easily measured by his opinion in public discuss. You simply need to grow up,Wole Soyinka once wrote 'the man dies in all who keep quiet in the face of tyranny'. The strength of our country should be built upon the constitution which places freedom of association and movement as our inalienable rights. For how along is Mr Buhari going to stop people from talking.....a wise man said 'the denial of our right is an invitation to fight for it'. History will surely remember Buhari for taking Nigerians more apart from each other. You dont solve a problem by running away from it. If you make dialogue impossible then you are making violence inevitable. |
9jacrip:The idea is to deceive the gullible, the un-initiated,dividing the clandestine association into different groups and then calling one according to you 'Ibo blood money Ogboni',so as to convince your andience that Ogboni is good left for the 'Ibo blood money Ogboni'. The truth remains that Ogboni world wide observes almost the same tradition and initiation rites, the all demand the oath of secrecy from their members, observes secret signs and symbols, the un-iniated are nt allowed into their assemblies, rituals are carried out as at when required. Like the one you tagged 'Ibo blood money ogboni',for me,you didnt dissappoint me,because as its very common trait with a Yoruba man to shift blames when things goes wrong,an average Nigerian knows that the Yorubas are they custodians of blood money,i know how difficult it is to get a genuine business man or politician amoung yorubas, who is nt involved in blood rituals in other to enhance his pursuits in life. The news dailies are inundated with stories of blood ritualists of which 90-95% are yorubas...google is your friend. You can rather tag it YORUBA TRADITIONAL BLOOD MONEY OGBONI. |
No amount of force can stop an idea whose time has come.....let the president be reminded that,'the power in the people is more powerful than the people in power'. If you bury lies it dies,if you bury truth it sprouts. Every good student of history knows that power is transient and that tyranny and tyrants dont last forever, its always a sad end. |
tomakint:....thats how irresponsible Nigeria can get, imagine that Fashola is still a minister even after having been found wanted in his previous position, opening a website with an outrageous and unprecedented amount. Then also Ameachi remains a minister even having been indicted by a River state judicial commission of enquiry, all it takes to stay above the law in Nigeria,is to get an APC membership card. Hope we both are on the same side on this!!!!!! I just cant help laughing. |
The MODs have suddenly forget how to ban miscreants on Nairaland. |
Op! In your effort to play the role of a janitor for the Fulani sultan, who made a statement unbecoming of the northern oligarchy, you also ended up showing your evil insensitivity to the feelings of others. I thought that in your effort to do damage control for your Fulani sultan, you wld ve started by apologising to Nairalanders on behalf of the Fulani race, however you failed to do so. Meanwhile your Sultan in the statement i read, said it categorically that those who have been maiming Nigerians are criminals but they shouldnt be refered to as Fulani herdsmen....pls if i may ask,who do we refer them as? Are they the Nigerian Fulanis? or like Wole Soyinka asked, are they the Fulanis from Futa Jalon?your guess is as good as mine. This was how the north defended boko haram not until the beast was unleashed on them....'not to have a sense of history,is to remain a child forever'. |
....when you need Abagworo you wont see him. Rochas you cant deceive all the people all the time. |
Abagworo:For you,the world starts and ends with Rochas, cant you get yourself a life. You are beginning to sound like someone who is psychologically unstable, one may admit that Rochas is your benefactor but even among thieves there is decorum. Your wish that Anambra and Imo should be seen as enemies, will never work. We Igbos know ourselves, hence the common saying 'Igbo bu Igbo','nwanne malu nwanne ya',what hurts one hurts the other. I know for sure you are not truly Imo,you may be one of those online janitors employed by Rochas to launder his dirty image. For me,i dont ve anything against your Rochas,i wish him well. When Chino asked to meet you in person, you ran as far as you can,at that point we thought Chino was taking it too far,but couldnt Chino have done Igbos a favour if he had met you and whatever happens! 'suffer nt the witch to live'-Bible. |
If only North can stop setting us backwards.....can posterity ever forgive Lord Lugard? There is no better definition of hell, than what we now call 'one Nigeria'. Marriage of strange bed fellows, while others want to join the rest of the free world, some others most likely prefers retrogression! Why then are they kept together? |
Anambra always a step ahead! |
