boss as suggested kindly run a scan of your vehicle and provide codes if there are any stored. if there are none kindly find a competent tech to help diagnose this issue.
high fuel consumption can be caused by various issues like faulty O2 sensor, high fuel pressure, leaky fuel regulator, faulty MAP, leaky exhaust and so many other things. so it takes a deep diagnosis to find the cause of the high fuel consumption.
kindly run a scan and lets go from there.

I just bought Suzuki xl7 but my mechanic advise me to remove the engine and gear and put tokunbo engine for toyota sienna and gear. That it will be more effective and will work perfectly. Please house should I go for it.

Nope. I didn't just change oil. The previous owner said he didn't change it and can't remember the oil there.

There is a possibility the oil inside has been overused and lost every ability to protect/lubricate the gears in d transmission.

Did you just change trans oil? Which oil did you change to?

rpm on idle without AC is 1100. With AC is about 1000

Without AC your RPM at 1100 is too high. It should be btw 600 and 800 depending on the vehicle sha.
Kindly check your idle system if it has one. Clean your throttle body if its dirty.
Do you have a misfire code? Scan the ECU if you have the CEL on...
Also check the compressor and the belt. Is it the right compressor thats fitted to the engine?

I think clearing the codes is the next thing to do.

This is how i do.

1. Scan and record the codes
2. Identify sources and troubleshoot (adjust connectors and in the evap case ensure a properly closed fuel tank cap)
3. Clear the codes
4. Drive the car for a day or 2
5. Scan again

The 2nd scan confirms a fault and only thenI start looking for solution.

I have seen a scan with misfire codes on all cylinders, but when cleared and driven, misfire codes never came up again even with nothing done.

My Honda Civic when on D, D3, R or D2 it will not move. Keep revving then pick. After like 2mins it will not move again just keep revving till I turn off the ignation and on. The process will repeat.

The transmission oil is well gauged so I don't know what the issue is. This just started today.

Its impossible. Before i purchased it i checked for the part number and amazon cofirms it fits and works for my car. Even the old one removed conpared to the new one is the same thing.i guess its wiring

I should check the wiring at the sensor 2 i newly replaced. I guess i would have to go to anothee rewire because where the sensor is located,they were all nagging before they removed my fan and found it.pls educate me .the wiring i should check for what exactly.
I disconnected the battery and with the hope that tomorrow morning it would clear

Sorry this is not DIY. Find a competent tech to help you check the wiring to the ECT sensors. All of them.

Please my wife's car would not shift from 3rd to 4th gear and would hit about 4k rpm.
It was diagnosed with obd II scanner and knock sensor, speed sensor, 02 sensor were reported.

Knock sensor and 02 sensor was changed, the car still wouldn't shift from 3rd to 4th gear.

I also noticed that the abs light is constantly ON but not reported by the scanner.

Also, the speedometer won't read.

Professional with similar experience so please guide me on what to do.

I deduce from this details you only scanned the engine not the transmission. So pls as suggested kindly scan the transmission and also the ABS module.

Before it was ect sensor 2 high after scanned
Then i bought a replacement sensor for 7k,installed it by my rewire and obd scanned. Then the scanner showed code p2185..ect sensor 2 circuit low
Now i feel frustrated as my rewire says they would need to change the sensor close to thermostat. But the obd says sensor 2 and a i noticed my acceleration doesnt pick on time and my fuel economy is poor. 1000naira fu only lasts me half a day whether ac or not.
Pls what can i do cos check engine light still on.

Check the wiring. Stop throwing parts at the problem.
You might have a short to ground somewhere. Reason for the circuit too low code. This Will definitely affect your fuel consumption since the ECU doesnt know if the engine cold or hot.

E for make sense make u carry better technician go to help you with the inspection however.... Nothing spoil
1. Inspect the electricals. No wire wire upandan.
2. Check the body and underbody, chassis, suspension and engine compartment. Ensure there are no rusts everywhere. Or atleast critical points.
3. SCAN. perform a deep FULL SYSTEM SCAN. are there any codes? If yes what codes are there?
4. Test drive. Pay attention to how the engine and transmission performs.listen to the engine at start up, at idle and when U rev at different RPMs.

Tokunbo 06 to 07 accord for 1.2m is extremely fishy.

A tokunbo Accord is preferred to naija used Corolla.

The 2.4L in the 07 to 09 is an oil burner and can even collapse with the usage of wrong oil and bad change interval. The 2.5L in 10 to 12 is a better engine.

Engine is between 250 to 280 for the 2.4L I am not sure about the transmission but the 07 had several transmission complaints.

Ah ah Daddy Nurey! The thing no bad like dt na. Hehehehe tho truthfully it burns oil as its a factory defect however with good maintenance, it can last long. We've got 2AZ's in d family. one in a camry another in a Rav4. The camry has been terribly abused with knocking sound sef but i am still surprised that the vehicle still moves and gives very good power like say nothing do am...
My opinion tho is its not as bad sha
