I married my friend. We PLANNED, prayed to God and conceived a month after wedding. While dating, she'd downloaded an APP for us to monitor her period. I knew when to do and when not to. The APP was 95% precise. I do use the APP to send her coded message too and make her Hot while we're at work. Normally her monthly visitor do trigger heavy but controlled-vomit. When she missed her period for a week and started running to toilet to vomit saliva, I knew I scored the goal. African-star apple became her breakfast. We woke up one faithful morning to perform the strip test. Road-side lab test confirmed the pregnancy. Madam started complaining that I'm smelling. She'll have headache all through the day. At 2 months, We went together to register for ANC. The drugs obtained further messed her olfactory system.

During 2nd trimester, she was diagnosed and got treated for malaria. Doc prescribed softgel (they don't smell as much). Babe was too beautiful and curvy. I was typing lots of codes via the wonder APP and it was working. She became more emotional and anxious. I'd to reassure her everyday to be positive. She stopped taking PCM for the headaches. I brought home fruits on a daily. She was always having light-flashes. Standing to cook was an herculean task. Young man now became proud chief maid in his house. My 27-year old kid bro became the assistant. He'd added 1+1 and knew what's up. We officially informed our mothers. Come see prayers.

She was told the baby's gender can be ascertained on 20th week. I went with her and baby's blokos (as Doctor called it over and over) was revealed. We now silently call him Doctor Blokos. One day towards the end of 2nd tri, she had series of pooing the previous night, we attributed it to her dinner and excess fruits maybe. At work, pooing came with series of vomiting and weakness. Her family friend and colleague rushed her to hospital. My work is 1.5hrs away. She called that she's heading to see Doctor blokos. I'd all her close colleagues phone number just incase. Went from work to hospital, she was alone, starving, crying on hospital bed. She's been admitted. She's concerned for the baby. Her bump wasn't pronounced. Until nurses read her file, they knew the gravity. Drip lines and injections followed. Scan showed baby is fine. Since I knew, we're spending the night and she was stabilised. I rushed out and back with chicken and bole. Hurriedly, went home and picked some items. Bro cooked and brought us breakfast. Then we went home for bed rest as Doc blokos advised.

During 3rd trimester,  She was consistent with ANC, they even created WHATSAPP group. I used to think, she flexes ANC money, until she said they do perform routine lab test (PCV, blood sugar) She took yoga and twerking pretty serious. I was not happy. Imagine what yoga pants and twerking does to a man, yet, Sex was not on the menu. Her libido just off.  Tho She dey try sometimes sha. I'd to youtube how to perform massage. It was demanded on a daily.

The bump she's been wishing for, suddenly became visible. She was always feeling heat. Whereas, I prefer natural breeze to fan. Duvet don't help. We were always arguing. She'll become sad when I try using guest-room. She started sending everybody on errands. She was behaving like an Emperor. Yet, she was so attractive even people gave her compliment on a steady. MEN WERE EVEN TOASTING HER (so irritating). She was always tired, waddled and hit her legs on everything. She'll demand sorry from whoever is closeby. She said, I and bro should rearrange the parlour the way she likes. She became a Tyrant. She was always late. Food became salty. She even said I shouldn't have a deep sleep so I can wake up when she winces at night because of muscle pull. She'll wake me up to cuddle her. I do go to office earlier than before to catch some źzzs.

We started buying baby items from 2nd tri. She'll say, it's better when she's still strong. We bought things I don't know. Breast pump, breast pads, fancy feeding bottles, bags, assorted creams and antiseptics. I was happy when hospital didn't approve some soaps. My soap bin don finish. She said, I should buy bulky items by myself. I carry her go the place to choose the colour of bath she wants. Ordered wooden baby cot here on NL.


She was scheduled for induction on 19/8/22 by 6pm but our EDD was 7/9/22. Paternal instincts kicked in immediately. I quickly installed washing machine (wedding gift), washed the blinds, assembled the cot then hunt for a suitable bank so we create an education trust fund. Keini was born 9:44am on 20/8/22. He has an upgraded version of my looks. Breast milk flowed same day. He started sucking properly next day. He's with maternal grandparents for the next 2 months before he goes to paternal grandparents for another 1 month. Infants are not as weak as they seem, they have muscles esp arms and legs.

I know, stuffs were inserted into her for induction and had to be sutured after birth. let me get her side of the story. I wasn't in the theatre. Hospital was somewhat affordable. The nurses were kind. .

I literally forced her to write her side of the journey.
Here she goes:

"During one of the routine antenatal visit, at about 36 weeks, I was scheduled to run OGGT and was advised to reduce carbs. The glucose disappeared for a while and resurfaced. Then we were told that our boy will be coming in early by induction.

On Friday, 29th August, we were admitted for the commencement of  induction process.   Here I was lying down on the hospital bed enjoying the AC at the detriment of my husband who is too sensitive to artificial air. I thought it'd be like where you're just injected and labor as they say will begin. I never foresaw the hurdles I was to jump to get to the labor part.

7pm, I was called into theatre 2, where the doctor explained everything he was going to do. Basically, the cervical catheter was going to be inserted in me, that will help soften the cervix for dilation.
First, he was going to examine my cervix before insertion.

There I was lying down naked in the midst of two men and three ladies. My precious body which I so much covered with pride was looked upon, just like that. Within me, I was like "shebi it's just to look inside and put this thing there, I won't even feel anything", before I finished the conversation with myself, I screamed so loud. The pain I experienced was never imagined, I kept screaming and jerking, this man called doctor just invaded my pussy with gloves and no lubricant at all, as if the crowd and the stares into my honeyland was not enough.

The deed was done, and like I was told, I experienced a little spotting. At about 9pm I started feeling pains like menstrual cramps. The deal was that, I'll be dilated to a certain cm, which will give way for the catheter to drop out from my vagina, that would mean that business have started.

3am, I was called back and two small tablets which I don't remember the name were inserted as well. It was a female nurse this time and I thought she would know better to be gentle than force her way inside.
6am came and this thing was ready to drop.

By 7am, I was examined where it was discovered that the catheter was placed way too deep inside and it wouldn't have fallen off on its own. It was discovered that I was 6cm dilated, and we were all waiting for the catheter to drop first.
Observing the frequency of my contractions, the doctor, broke my water and it was like hell was let loose.

Immediately, I was transferred to theatre 1, where I was to give birth. My husband and mother were in confusion of the happenings and were asking me series of questions but I couldn't answer any. Out of nowhere, the doctor said I'll deliver within 2hours. I was screaming every time I had the contractions, but then I'll remember bragging to my husband that I won't shout and scream no matter the degree of pain. Na so my fine girl mode change oooo.

Admidst the pains I could see my husband walking out the hospital gate, and I said to myself "this one don put me for this condition come dey run comot". I didn't blame him sha, knowing his kind of person, I knew he wouldn't withstand it.

After series of contractions, I suddenly felt like shitting. First pregnancy! What did I know?. Fine babe like me, will come and shit in the hospital. Omo! I didn't know that was my son telling me that he's ready to come out.
I was then shown how to position and to push when the baby is pushing as well. What I understood then was "shit the shit wey dey worry you".

First push
Second push
Third push, nothing.
The doctor was explaining what was happening to the midwife. This man was doing lecture on top my vagina.
Push again
And again.
They noticed that the baby's head will surface and go back inside.

Time to shit came again, I positioned myself and started pushing, the shouted that I should continue and not stop (at this point, I remembered the last hot sex I had with the man that was putting me through all these, I remembered telling him "don't stop". So I kept on pushing, baby's head came, but they kept shouting "continue, continue". I obliged and suddenly the pain went away".

Yes ohhh finally the lord has done it. Is a "beautiful" baby boy � ..... Though the devil really battled but God gave us victory.

Thanks to everyone for ur concern ...... When i brought my case here some mamas suggested I go for elective cs which i find scary then. And being that doctor have already opted for CR (cervical Ripening) hubby will not agree to anything aside doctors opinion .

Was induced on monday evening, on tuesday morning i started seeing blood show and was moved to delivery ward. Labor started around 2pm. At the first check it was progressing 6cm, second check it went back to 3cm. That is how dialation was moving front and back with constant checking (puting hand inside mi VG..... a very horrible experince) for more than 15hrs than I was already tired, and baby too was getting tired.

Dr now advise hubby for emergency CS to save my life and that of the baby that was on wednesday. In all honesty it was a horrible experince being my first time but looking at my Pericous LO it worth it...

In all I give God all the glory.

Good evening mama. Though I haven't used their soap but their powder is excellent for baby skin as it helped me clear rashes and any skin irritation on my son.
I have heard other mamas give good reviews about the soap sha

@OP I would advise that you see a peadratrician. Don't use visita, it's too harsh for the skin of a 3 weeks baby.

If you can get original Agneasia powder, it works perfectly for heat and nappy rashes.
