As per FFK, remember, his political pedigree is of no consequence in Yorubaland, only the leadership of two tribe can do this. The best opportunity for the south to unite and make a statement in the Nigerian political space was 2015 but they blew it. Pre- 2015, the entire northern political elite ( both APC and PDP) united behind a northern candidate Buhari, irrespective of Buhari's obvious incompetence. I expected the southerners to do same and unite behind a southern candidate, but they messed up. The rest is now history.

Ganduje made the clarification shortly after attending the wedding ceremony of the son of Sen. Kabiru Gaya, Ibrahim Khalil in Sokoto on Saturday.
The governor told newsmen that the RUGA settlement initiative was for states who could cater for the Fulanis, and was targeted at making herdsmanship a socio-economic investment, not a socio-cultural issue.
“So States where indigenes are not Fulani cannot be asked to implement RUGA, as such it is for states that can cater for the Fulanis and wish to improve their herdsmanship.
“That is why we are developing RUGA in Kano state, so that Fulani people can be in one place and enjoy all the social services like other people of the state.
“The type of herdsmanship the Fulanis are doing now will be improved, so that they can produce more cows, more milk and ensure more economic prosperity to themselves,” Ganduje said.

The governor, however, said the best way to improve the living standard of Fulani people was by banning their seasonal migration to the central and southern parts of Nigeria.
“No better way to improve their lives if you don’t prevent their migration from the north to the central and southern parts of Nigeria.

“Fulani migration should be banned otherwise they would continue to suffer and the security challenges in the country would continue to exist,” he added.

For the love of Rauf Aregbesola have for the education sector I think he will make good impact if he was assigned to supervise education sector in Nigeria.

Education was number one achievement of Aregbesola during his regime. Aregbesola built first class classrooms and he also introduced opon imon in both primary and secondary schools .Aregbesola was a pioneer of school feeding program.

Love him or hate him Aregbesola achievement in education sector in osun state can't be overlook.

Education is more than building gigantic structures as classrooms. If u like build skyscrapers as classrooms, it will not improve the quality of education.

Moses is the deliverer of Israel, but till today, the lineage of David (a King) is recognized as the royal head of Israel. In cultural or spiritual matters, Moses will come first. But in political matters, David will be known. There is no question of superiority here. Both serve different purpose. If you can understand Ooni and Alaafin from that perspective, you'll be the better for it. Just like that other guy said; even the present Ooni and Alaafin have closed rank. It may be that he has the support of the Ooni in writing this letter. Even the Ooni himself referred to him as the foremost king during his visit to his palace in the early days of his reign so all this ur argument no go anywhere.

There is a big difference between eating cow meat and eating Fulani meat. Eating Fulani meat means eating human flesh.

As for the Fulani herdsmen, let them keep their cattle in the north. Whenever we want to eat cow meat we will buy cattle from the north with our money and bring it down south to slaughter.

If need be, we can as well import cow meat from abroad just like frozen foods.

All we need in the south here is peace. Peace is more important than eating cow meat.

The best solution is private ranching. That's is the best global practice. Cattle rearing remains a private business. Save for a hidden agenda, the government has no business seizing people's land and taxpayers' money to set up private businesses for individuals. I just purchased some plots of land for my piggery farming. The government should encourage herdsmen to do same.
