Among Nigeria’s living ex-Military Heads of State, Generals Yakubu Gowon (rtd) & Olusegun Obasanjo (rtd) have been really lucky to be blessed with good health, stamina & strong bones.

For their ages & how long they’ve been out of public office, both men are truly blessed; Gen. Muhammadu Buhari was literally at the border of death especially in his first tenure as democratically elected president but us since bounced back to good health and looks. However, he only just left office about a year ago & still considerably younger than the duo of Gowon & OBJ.

Whether these are “cheap” knock-offs, outright fake or original sunglasses, the underlying message from this thread for me is these highlighted men & women have taste, know their fashion brands & how to pull off that classy look.

Ironically it is seasoned hunters that are most likely to shoot a person by mistake, and here is the reason why. Your take makes quite a lot of sense from a logical point of view. I’ve never hunted or set foot in a forest for the sole purpose of hunting nonetheless, mysterious and unexplainable things do occur and I believe this is one of such occurrences.

Oga there’s no way at they’ll link a train from Agabra to Abeokuta. Can Ogun state government afford to do the rail within their own state? Or do you expect the Lagos state government to ignore rail going to other parts of Lagos and start building a rail connection for Ogun state?

It’s easier to connect from Agbara to Badagry than from Agbara to Abeokuta or wherever you mentioned.

I think that's the plan: to connect from Badagry to Agbara. Besides, that'll require some level of financial commitment from the OGSG which I don't think Prince Dapo Abiodun is keen on otherwise, the project should've started by now & not still be in talking phase.

While Ibom Air's prices are higher, those who value time, peace (ironically) of mind & reliability will choose the Akwa Ibom State owned airlines any day over Air Peace, which has become notorious for delayed departures, unreliability & sometimes outright rescheduling/cancelation of scheduled flights.

Having said that, both airlines have an enviable safety record, fleet of brand new aircraft, professional crew & comfortable flying experience among others.

Any good student of history will tell you PDP's problems originally begun from 2003 due to one man's egoistic & selfish ambition.

His ambition forced then then incumbent President who was his boss to reportedly go down on his knees to plead for his Vice President's support to win a second term.

Once that President secured his 2nd term, he went for his VP's jugular. Instead of retracing his steps, the ambitious man joined another party while still serving as Nigeria's number 2 from where he went on to clinch the presidential ticket of another politically party controlled by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Of course, he failed but his ambition didn't die. He returned to the PDP which he helped founded and bidded his time again. When he noticed that then President - Dr. Goodluck Jonathan - was going to seek re-election in 2015 contrary to an alleged unwritten agreement that he would only contest once & hand over power back to the north, this desperate politician jumped ship once again and aligned with others to give the PDP it's biggest "fuçk you" till date.

He contested the presidential primaries of the party he jumped to hoping to clinch its ticket but yet again, he failed.

Realizing his ambition to become president would be dead and buried should he remain in the party where he jumped to (Atiku knew power was supposed to rotate to the South after the Buhari Presidency hence he needed another platform to realize his lifelong dream of being President) this man began to portray himself as a lover of Nigerians preparatory to his move to again jump back to the PDP & contest its presidential primaries in the build up to 2019 general elections.

Again, he was defeated.

This time & for the longest time in his political career, he stayed back in the PDP. Then, Buhari's tenure ended and it was time for power to rotate to the South but this same man, who joined other political prostitutes to chorus "power rotation" in the build-up to 2015 general elections, made an about turn saying power rotation is alien to our constitution.

He contested the Presidential primaries of the PDP for the umpteenth time & could've lost woefully (inspite of all the humongous money he spent on delegates and the Iyorchia Ayu-led NWC) to Nyesom Wike but for the 11th hour political betrayal of another slippery political snake, Aminu Tambuwal.

Realizing the political dexterity, popularity & financial muscle of his closest opponent - Wike - that came to the fore at the primaries, this same man carried himself to the then Rivers Governor's residence to offer him a joint ticket but for reasons best known to him, he made an about turn again & chose someone else.

That was the final straw that broke the proverbial camel's back & PDP has never been the same since then.

Therefore, if PDP must get its mojo back, it must first of all confine Atiku to the dustbin of its history and then clear the Augean stable thereafter.

Anything other than that and PDP will become a footnote in Nigeria's Democratic story.

At this rate, Dangote vehicles have to be listed among one of the ways to die in Nigeria so that when people sight anyone from afar, they start giving way or carefully running away from it as far as possible.
