You men can be funny sometimes sha. grin

There are some cultures around the world where it is perfectly normal for wives to be provided as 'entertainment' to guests. So many of such stories have been shared here (I remember one particular account by MrBrownJay), and when you guys hear such, you're always so greatly excited.

You always fantasise about going to communities where this is in practice, so you can be offered a man's wife and engage in a threèsome.

But the moment you're presented with alternative cultures which are slightly less patriarchal than others, where it is the wife-to-be who gets to have one last sex, or some form of apparent advantage over the man, you will flare up.

You should know where to draw the line between your cultural ideals which run counter to Christianity principles.

You cannot celebrate and cheer at myriad sexual and cultural practices in the world (child marriage, for example) but want to draw the line at and insist on feminine 'dignity' and purity in the same cultures.

It is Christianity that places the biggest emphasis on virginity, for both one man and one woman.

But you people will want to be treated like traditional Lords by a Christian woman.

So stop cherry-picking which "weird" cultural practices to acclaim or condemn as you wish.

NB: Nowhere in the above post have I said I agree to any of such cultural practices.

This one just dey yarn rubbish. Mumu feminist.
Na like that Una dey do for where u come from, to they av sex around like dog. Continue comparing Ur weak ass to guys. You can never be male.

The OP stated the truth. I lived there from 2016-2020 and taught in a bilingual school, after my diploma in the French language. I still miss the life there, especially the night life. cheesy

I hope to go back with my family. Cost of living/rent might be high but security, amenities and infrastructure dey. Just have the money.

Their people too can be friendly to foreigners especially Nigerians. I keep contact till this day with most of them, not just to keep my French knowledge going, but, who knows, in case I find myself back there or I need anything from them.

Please, I just started learning French because I'm preparing for japa, but I don't have anyone to communicate to in French.
Can we be chatting and learning French from you?

My advice to my kids
1. YOUR FRIENDS YOU MOVE AROUND WITH TODAY MIGHT BE RICHER THAN YOU TOMORROW AND FORGET YOU EVER EXISTED, SO WORK HARD AND CHOOSE A FRIEND THAT HAS THE SAME VISION AS YOU.

2. NEVER TRUST A WOMAN THAT CRIES EVERYTIME WHENEVER THERE IS AN ARGUMENT. THEY ARE TRYING TO PLAY WITH YOUR EMOTIONS AND COVER THEIR LIES.

3. HELP BUT NEVER EXPECT TO GET HELP IN RETURN WHEN YOU NEED IT. 99.5% OF PEOPLE YOU HELP WILL NEVER HELP YOU WHEN YOU'RE IN NEED

Salary? You make me laff.

In 1980 I earned 8 Naira a day working 8 to 5 at a sawmill in Ibadan. If I arrived at work and there were no trees to slice or electricity to slice it with my boss might sympathise and pay me 2 Naira for the day. I'd walk from Mokola to Alakia and save 20 kobo.

Mokola to alakia. Chai, na suffer oo
