MiddleSpot: Vs 26. You have understanding issues? First or not, did he place. Demand. Or not?
Nah, its you that has understanding issues..
VS 26 David asked the men, not the King..... The men had no power to reward David so David could not have demanded a reward from them. David asked the men to know what exactly the King was offering.
Asking the Secretary how much the company pays their staff is totally different from demanding the company pay their staff.
MiddleSpot: Read your bible again David said what would I get. He requested aka demanded. Chai. Smh. Go and read your Bible.
24: When the Israelites saw the man, they all ran from him in great fear. 25: Now the Israelites had been saying, "Do you see how this man keeps coming out? He comes out to defy Israel. The king will give great wealth to the man who kills him. He will also give him his daughter in marriage and will exempt his father's family from taxes in Israel." 26: David asked the men standing near him, "What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?"
MiddleSpot: Typical one sided application of scripture. Why did David ask for reward for killing goliath. Was his own family not in the country the giant would have annihilated? Perspective reapplication and realignment is needed.
Read your bible again...... The king offered a reward and David took up the king's offer. That is akin to the woman offering to pay anyone who returns her wallet(something she never did).
Getbizzzy: Most of you lots supporting the lady re evil.
Just because you haven't lost any thing of worth before that's why you will be ranting to support her ungratefulness.
And to those saying he had no option: like seriously, what will the uber guys do to pin him down that the lady left it in his cab even if she recognizes the car number, what proof does she have?
A common 'thank you very much or God bless you" would have been quite enough instead of insulting him with the God forsaken N500.
A very good friend of mine lost her passport at Frankfurt while in transit, the passport was returned without a fuss. It's only in Nigeria someone would return your property and be expecting payment.
MiddleSpot: Thus scpriture says because of. Lack of love the love of many would wax cold.... This is why wickedness is pervasive in this generation, goods aren't rewarded, do bad. Strip naked like etinosa and bag an endorsement deal. Goodness has become mundane and archaic
This is what the scripture says
"But when you host a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind, 14and you will be blessed. Since they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
“When you give … do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing”
MiddleSpot: Of course its his job to drive home and return a passengers lost item burning the fuel and not conducting business when he ought to have been attending to his own need. Dwib
How does returning the purse stop him from carrying passengers?
MiddleSpot: What a wicked lady. Such wickedness is akin to boko haram wickedness. People. Can not appreciate good deeds. Tomorrow when people don't do good, we begin to wail. If she took him to a. Lunch bought fuel would it had been too much. I summon God to punish her for her cruelty. The man could have carried passengers and made. Money the same time he expended on her interests....
It's because of people like you civil servants expect to be given something for doing their job.
234ng44uk: I'm just catching up on the thread, that is why my response is coming late. The antagonism to that landing gist from White ass lickers is just so hurting when @titiclassy might have been a victim of racial discrimination. I took time to respond to you because you cut across as someone with a good head. Not like the other frustrated low-life
She might have been a victim of racism and she might not have. The person you are quoting asked the right question.
Someone also shared his experience where he thought it was racism but the airline official explained everything to him.
TheCongo2: That reminds me of one of my trips to South Africa. I was taking a KLM flight from Johannesburg back to Toronto via Amsterdam.
We were seating in the waiting area to board the aircraft and I realized I was the only black person. It was time to board the aircraft and we were on the line to hand out our boarding pass.
After handing my boarding pass, I was on my way to enter the aircraft. However, there was a white South African agent standing and watching the passengers entering the aircraft.
When he saw me, he wanted to see my passport. Something I didn't see him ask any of the other white travellers before me.
No way, I was upset. I ask him, " Why only me? Why you didn't ask any of the other travellers for their passports?". In my mind this was a clear case of racial profiling. So, I needed an explanation.
In a very calm and friendly manner, the white man explained to me that all the other travellers have the European Union passport. He said he could tell a European Union passport from a distance. And travellers with EU passports didn't need visas to go to Amsterdam. Given that my passport had a different color from everyone else's, he wanted to ensure I was authorized to travel to Amsterdam.
After showing him my Canadian passport, he said "Thank you for your co-operation and have a safe trip"
It wasn't the color of my skin as I originally thought
Gmajor: SMH. You want to sound smart but you are not. Did you ask yourself what a Non-Christian is doing inside a church on Easter?
1)To campaign 2)Followed a family member(Tinubu has followed his wife to church on so many occasions but he is not a Christian) 3) Went for the food on offer . . . . . 10011) Went to find a babe in church.
El Rufai in a church(going by your logic, El Rufai must be a Christian)
It's a fact that 99% of people who go to church on Christmas, Easter and every other christian celebration is a christian hence these Sri Lankans in the church affected by this bombing particularly in the church are Christians and should be addressed as that, I wonder what the hell is 'Eatser worhsiper' by the wway, care to define that?
Actually, there are people who only go to church once in a year and they go during a holiday.
cyrilamx: Stop that. the Catholic church doesn't hire instrumentalists....so this ur opinion is wrong because the two churches attacked were catholic churches.
Speak on what you know about. The Catholic church I attend has an instrumentalist that is not Catholic. Besides in almost every Catholic mass, there's almost always a non Catholic.
9gerian: You are right. The onslaught was a gradual one that came to its head after Hillary on behalf of Obama declared that gay rights was human rights.
Thereafter Obama and other world leaders started supporting lgbt rights. Obama said he had evolved.
Like I said, it’s a very long story that can only be reasearched chronologically to understand it.
Take your time and do some research with an open mind and it would be easier to see then; not before!
Even reporter discussed Obama’s perceived attack against Christmas.
Emusan: I don't know why some of you will just be arguing for argument sake...
It's clear that Obama and Hillary Clinton mentioned two different group on their twitters
Obama said....."Tourists and EASTER WORSHIPPERS" Clinton said...."Travellers and EASTER WORSHIPPERS"
And if you noticed what people pointed out is calling those affected inside the church EASTER WORSHIPPERS and not Christians.
I have seen Buhari in a church, is he a Christian? I have seen Fashola in a church, is he a Christian? I have seen Tinubu in a church, is he a Christian?
There are lots of churches in the west who hire instrumentalist on Sundays(they are not Christians).
On special days(Christmas, New year, Easter) lots of non Christians attend church either by way of following families or in Nigeria for the goodies that would follow after the service.
Common sense should tell you that not every body in a church is a Christian.
MobilityExpress: It's not political correctness. It's a political anti-Christ agenda. Do you know that for 8 years Barrack Obama was President he never said "Merry Christmas", he always said Happy Holidays instead, and he doesn't use any word that has Christ in it. During his reign it was almost a federal crime to say "Merry Christmas" and satanists were having a field day suing Christians who refused to abandon "Merry Christmas". Donald Trump's candidacy and victory was from God, to slow down the anti-Christ new world order in their progress to take over the world.
