1) Internal trade along the waterway...scanty, meaning there is no cargo

2) Vessel size/availability, draught limitations, throughput/ return cargo , sufficient inducement??

3) Double handling of cargo increases cost and ultimate shelf price of goods,....Transit time, cargo consolidation bunker costs, agency fees, last mile delivery etc

4) Freight tariffs. shore handling tariffs,

I must admit that I have not laid my hands on the feasibility study. I would appreciate it if anyone can give me a link.

All the above, and more must be taken into consideration before even putting a dredger on the river.

I know this may not be the right place to post this but for those who have gotten COPR, PR and the likes you may be able to chime a tip or two to help especially if you were once in a similar situation.
its wil be 15 months soon since AOR and i have not heard a word from IRCC. I have sent emails, ordered GCSM notes , done everything within my power to see what is causing the hold up. Medicals has expired, they didnt even ask for a re-med yet. Last GCSM noted i got in september 2018 said security check had not started, everything else looked ok.
I am moving on with life o, but i can't help with this hanging over me like a fruit hanging from a tree but out of my reach. My sister in canada said maybe the fruit is not yet ripe so i should wait for it to drop by itself

Any tips will be appreciated on what to do besides sitting like a duck.

On a lighter note now guys...we've all come here to better our lives and our tomorrow. We all know Canada is a credit society and every damn thing including buying Sim cards revolve around credit ratings. Let us ensure we keep our credit records pristine. Nothing beats Transunion and Equifax. I sat on an appointment where a guy's credit card application was declined due to a phone bill be probably had forgotten. Also, I know we all have different capacities and family size but think of it in Naija terms; didn't we live within our means? I'm not against credit as you can't escape it here. All I'm saying is that you avoid unnecessary credit. See your credit card as a tool to improve your credit score and not as some sort of loan. We get paid at work so we would still survive if we didn't have the credit card. The rates are crazy and before you know it, you start sinking into debts. Don't max out your credit card limit as it sends wrong signal to the credit bureau guys. It tells them you rely heavily on your credit card for survival. Generally, it is advisable to keep it below 30% of your combined limit. Credit cards are revolving credit and not managing it well will affect your chances of getting other revolving credit in future e.g Line of credit or Home line plans. Even if you have a good credit score, they will be more willing to grant you a fixed term loan. Also, save for retirement. Every penny counts and the compound interest is unrivaled in things like this. RRSP vs TFSA...both have their advantages. Try to max out your RRSPs for tax returns which you can also invest or spend on other things.
Summarily, be very close to your bankers. Banking is very different here to what we have back home. Bankers are trained to look more after your interest here.

Be careful of doing business back home... enough fraud stories dey. Besides, the naira isn't helping your real return on the investment.

Not too sure. With my samsung s8+ it works well on freedom mobile. But till date my location has not changed to canada. So i have a lot of restrictions on canadian apps from playstore. For instance i cant use uber, other bus apps. It will keep saying not available for d app. Meaning its still recognising 9ja as my fone location. Took it to freedom mobile and they cldnt help. Asides that its working fine. I can call and text n use google map

I have registered for the alberta health card but yet to get it, as a FSW/express entry am considering moving to Ontario, any problem with that ? MY SIN printout carries Alberta aaddress wont this be a problem ?

Catalonia conducted a referendum, about 92% voted for independence and the referendum was afterwards declared illegal by the Spanish government. I don't think it was internationally recognised too, which would have given it credibility...this is what IPOB is working towards.

How are we sure the people are interested in this?
We will prove this on the day of the federal election. Those in favor of staying will vote in the elections, those who want to leave will boycott the elections. If the majority boycott the elections, it will prove that restoration of Biafra is the popular interest.

I think I should tell you some few things you should know about her:
After our service year I was struggling to get a job and she advice I set up a business and helped with about 50% of the capital with which I started my current business.

When we started, she bought a large plot of land in my state and just recently developing the plot for agricultural use.

On all the occasion she has visited me in my state, she has done so with her money and also getting plenty of goodies for me and my family.

Just recently, she bought into my lifelong plan of travelling out of the country. She has put visible plan on ground for us to leave the country soon after our wedding.

The truth, is that when I think of her inbuilt qualities, I am force to believe I will be on the losing side if she fails into the hands of someone else.
That's why I said I am in a dilemma.

Yes you would definitely hand over the naija license. Having the FRSC letter and license will only give you exemptions if you have years of driving under your belt. i.e. you can't show up with a spanking new license and get the exemption. The license has to be at least one year old to exempt you from the G1
Also it must be original license, they check.
To verify that your license is genuine, go to the link below, enter your license number and DoB. If your details come up, it's genuine. If it doesn't, it's fake - even if you did it in FRSC office

Fam, I have a little question pls. Is it compulsory ohe does immigration documentation at the first airport landed in Canada? For example, if I'm heading to Calgary but lands first in Toronto before connecting Calgary, must I complete my documentation in Toronto or I could wait till I land in Calgary?
