linuslynx: ‘’LANDING GIST’’
I Now, getting to the immigration officer at the POE was traumatic for us because we had a terrible experience while trying to get dollars the day before our trip. The transfer we did to the BDC till now has not even impacted and neither has the funds been reversed back to our account so we only had cash of $2,000 on us for a family of three and with all the news of immigration officers being strict with showing POF we sha bolded up and met the guy, he asked how much we had and I said $2k the guy now looked at me and asked me again you said how much and I answered $2k For those who are yet to land, when asked for POF, state how much you put in your application and then follow up with "but I only have x amount of cash on me" Like someone has mentioned above, insufficient funds is enough for them to send you back. |

What we want Atiku to do instead is to withdraw all Oil wells from private citizens and make it jointed own by FG, State, LGA and Community in a ratio of (25%, 45%, 15% and 15%).
Petrobras is owned by the state of Brazil, and are not doing too badly. How does what you have written up there make NNPC efficient? |

Homguy: AZeD1 : Going through posts from the past thread,I saw you are a programmer/software developer.
I am looking at changing field on landing, being doing a lot of python self learnt programming, writing scripts to do simple tasks and do other things. What application of the python language has the highest prospects for jobs...web?automation? Apps? ML?
I have Google about jobs over there, but may I learn from your experience? Python is used for a lot of things and which ever path you follow, you would see opportunities. That being said, to have a long career in software development, you have understand that programming languages are a means to an end. Being able to speak English and being an effective communicator are two different things. The same also applies to knowing a programming language and being a good developer. |

He was making an assertion, more like trying to give an excuse 4y buhari didn't appoint his cabinet on time I may be wrong but this part looked like a quote Development under President Buhari Buhari has been slow because as he said, he inherited an empty treasury. For six months, he could not appoint ministers because there was no money to pay them, and little by little, thank God, oil picked up.” |
Politics › Re: Who Will Deliver Pastor Tunde Bakare From The Spirit Of Lying? - Reno Omokri by AZeD1(m): 7:38pm On Jan 02, 2019 |
I'm not defending Tunde Bakare but I can't find any lie in his statement. I ceased taking Pastor Tunde Bakare seriously ever since he lied against the Holy Ghost by prophesying (wrongly) that “Let me tell you the truth by the spirit of God, neither OBJ, Atiku, IBB and this tall one, Buhari are part of the new. They are part of the old that is decaying. That old one is passing away. The new is emerging and these ones are not part of that new.”
For those who do not know, Pastor Tunde Bakare made the above statement in an on October 2, 2006 interview he granted to the Punch Newspapers.
It is now a historical record that after claiming that God’s Holy Spirit told him Muhammadu Buhari was part of Nigeria’s decaying past, the same Pastor Tunde Bakare went ahead to accept to be the running mate of the same Muhammadu Buhari in 2011. Accepting to be Buhari's running mate did not invalidate the earlier assertion that Buhari is part of the 'old' except Reno believes Buhari is part of the new. Development under President Buhari Buhari has been slow because as he said, he inherited an empty treasury. For six months, he could not appoint ministers because there was no money to pay them, and little by little, thank God, oil picked up.”
The above words are nothing but a lie and a figment of both the imaginations of President Buhari and Pastor Tunde Bakare and I will prove this assertion using facts, not opinions Here Tunde Bakare was quoting Buhari so you can't ascribe the lie to him as he was merely quoting the President. |

I pray you experience Lords blessings as you give. if not for giving nobody will be calling Abraham father of all nations. Enough said. 1 John 3:17–18 (ESV) 17 But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. Proverbs 19:7 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done. Matthew 25:38-40 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’ 40And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’ Every time Jesus talked about giving, he talked about giving to the poor not to Pastors. |

This may be another case of microaggression in the Canadian society. If you are black you are an immigrant. If you are white, they assume you are in your country. Immigrants can't vote until you become a citizen. |

bily: And that exactly is the point. We allow them to come to our space and claim rights and it's OK. But we must not have an opinion in their space, it's a sin according to us.
And we are the ones castigating ourselves for having an opinion in their space. This is the inferiority complex congo2 is talking about. Nobody has said it ok but for you to fight it, you need people who believe in the equal rights of people irrespective of sexuality, race, tribe e.t.c The people on this thread are all migrating to Canada because the system discourages discrimination(at least openly). A certain poster says he would not rent an apartment to homosexuals because of his religion but that same person has most likely complained about tribalism in Nigeria and he would definitely complain if he is denied a job because of his religion. |

Mr Chukwuma I can build yhu that chinco app in 2 app in two day,if you want something solid I need atleast 2 months, by solid I mean something error tested, analytics, impressive ui , backend storage and inapp storage.
I can yhu that app in two, three days with stable light, but it will not be solid. The world here is solid, helo world is an app too, uber is an app also.
All this things depends on how extensive yhu want yhur app to be. Under one day using inapp storage like room or mysql, that can be done but dont expect anything extensive at least not something yhu should run a business on, the word here now is "Should" . The best developers use the best tools for the job and start on the shoulders of giants. For a simple app to record daily sales, firebase would be an awesome backend and it comes with analytics (PS there are also plenty analytics services out there and integrating is at most one day.) Go on Twitch and watch people building applications in one day. |

Not an app that calculates 1 + 1, hello world na app too, I mean a real functional app from scratch that tackles a problem, like an e-commerce app, or location dependent app.
The average development time span for an ecommerce app, is 4-6 months depending.
Yhu can build it in 2 weeks, especially in a country like 9ja. What do you mean you can't build a rock solid app in two weeks? Mr Chukwuma wants an app to record daily sales in his shop are you saying that can't be done in two weeks? |
