yeah I know ...but as the leader of the nation his convictions would be shared by others...does buhari aspire for true federalism...The mantra of diversification is a scam if the nigerian government does not encourage regionalism...just how can we achieve a diversified economy if all states still want to depend on oil...just howhuh...nigeria is just tiring...if you ask president buhari how he intends to diversify our economy you will still hear the same old shittt. ...
Regionalism weakens the centre, there's no way senators and house of rep members would let that happen.

Amaechi said something in that period of "we steal because they don't stone us". Stealing has tribal covering, when people sees how much the north is devouring each month as royalties, the few ones from among them that are taking peanuts are just overlooked (this was not quoted but it was said).

So beating your child because he stole N50 from you

Until the oil blocks owned by northerners are revised I don't think there will be peace, this is beyond 13%, NDDC or ministry
Like I said earlier, this oil blocks owned by the North rhetoric is what the likes of Asari, Tompolo and co use to"cover" the eyes of the people to continue their stealing.
The majority of the oil sold (90%) is from foreign owned oil blocks.

In 2014, the statement from Asari and co was that the north wanted power because oil block licences were expiring this year, that lie didn't work, now it's the" North" own majority of the oil block lie that is trending.

actually, in the North during the 2015 presidential elections, there was no PDP or APC ,....all were for a northern candidate presidency... even the Pdp chairman voted PMB.
so forget this your rant here...Apc in the north is almost 60% former PDP members...
Most of the northern Pdp guys voted APc in presidential..
Who broke the PDP power sharing agreement?

Like I said before, boko haram started during the Yar'Adua era and was fueled by in fighting in the PDP.

Don't bring APC into it because the APC wasn't alive until 2014.

Main source of income? Lol
Do you know that northern oil block owners are earning more than a state in a month. My dear if you go and see how the people are surviving, you will understand why they don't need the oil because even now, there's no impact in their lives
There's no impact because their leaders are stealing it. I am from Delta State, was born at Agbor and it is foolish to keep blaming the northerners for the problem in that region.
The Niger delta has a ministry, there's NDDC and there's the 13% derivative and they are not controlled by Northerners.
Ibori is not a northerner, neither is Uduaghan or Dickson.

The oil companies pay millions to the leaders of this communities.
If it's not reaching the man in the creek, then the problem is closer to home.

u guys called our son all sorts of names because of Boko Haram that was introduced to make his government ungovernable.
Don't rewrite history. Boko haram started around the Yar'Adua era and it was Yar'Adua who killed the boko haram founder.
Also note that it was a PDP member (Lawal) who said they'll make the country ungovernable for GEJ, hence the reason why the late Gen Azazi a Bayelsa son said "PDP is boko harm, boko haram is PDP."

Too bad... embarassed...I clamor again for regionalism...its high time the FG talked to the Niger delta...call for referendum and give a time line for nigeria to embrace true federalism...The FG needs to agree to a practice that will save nigeria...diversification of our economy is not to be done on papers and white boards...The time is now...let us rest in this country once and for all...

A country filled with so much marginalisation and nepotism... angry
You do know that the president can't call for a referendum or restructure the country unilaterally?

That's the work of the National assembly.

I never said it will be easy or straight forward. That is where ingenuity and leadership comes in. Do u know what is happening in Osun now? Aregbesola was forced to look inward due to decline in state allocation. As I speak to you now Osun will start exportation of agricultural produce soon. You need to see her's and her people massive plantations.
People seem to forget that nature abhors vacuum.
The NDA might think they are making a statement, they actually don't know they are helping the country get off oil.

Some states have already shut down, though unofficially following prevailing financial situation.
An example of what ll happen if these bombings continue is Zimbabwe. With no foreign exchange the naira will soon become worthless trying to chase few dollars setting off a runaway inflation.
.....NIGERIA IS IN DIRE STRAITS and the situation demands constructive engagement of these agitators as fighting them will always end in a lose lose situation.
Yaradua was no fool.
If the bombings continue, Buhari won't suffer, neither will GEJ and most politicians.
You know who will suffer? The common man including those in the Niger Delta supporting them.
So who loses?

Come oh.. is it cumpolsary that only FG that hav to build power plants?

Are states not allowed to build their own power stations due to their natural endowments ?

Pls anyone that know how this thing work should let us know.

Because am surprised that countries that are in the forefront of solar panels manufacturing and usage are cold countries but we, with all the sunshine and what have you are still struggling to generate light and accept solar as a source of generating same in large scale
Anyone can build a power plant but it's a capital intensive venture.

One of the crimes of the last President MR GEJ was the unbearable traffic caused by him and his wife whenever they visited Lagos.
There's nothing Lagosians hate more than an outsider contributing to our traffic woes.
To ensure Lagosians don't start planning your exit Mr President, please tell your security agencies to be guided.
It's in your best interest.

Mr Lere stop displaying your ignorance in public.
Nobody is probing the source of the PDP campaign fund, the government is probing money meant for arms.

If the PDP used the money meant for arms to fund it's campaign that is their problem.

The inability of the Union members to put their house in order is down to political interference from government circle. Everyone knows Wabba led NLC is the officially recognized one but this administration has decided to play the devil's advocate for Ajero faction and courting two brides at the same time. That's a height of insensitivity and divisibility.
It's not the height of insensitivity but doing your work.
The more frationilized labour is, the better for government.
I have said this over and over again, it's not in the best interest of government to be united.
The onus lies with labour to be united.

The fact that the government can fractonilize labour means labour leaders are not fighting for the masses but themselves.

Think like a lettered person lady. Does it imply that Buhari's govt can do whatever it likes with workers since there's no common front to fight their course?

Besides, I am not pained because I am a govt employee but my concern is how the APC-led government is further polarising Nigeria. It's too evident for all to see.
Stop making an issue were there is none. The more polarised labour is, the better for the government and employers of labour.

If labour is divided, it's their fault and no one else's fault.
