Empero1: People like Metuh, Fani Kayode and other beneficiaries that were entrusted with the PDP campaign funds are great hypocrites. They all kept for their personal uses, the money that was disbursed to them to help finance the election. I know that GEJ will be laughing hard where he's now. Supposing that Metuh for instance used the money given to him for what it was meant for, where would he has find the same exact amount to refund the FG? Backstabber's everywhere.
Kudos to the FG by the way. Why do you think GEJ keeps visiting Aso Rock? He is pointing out those who betrayed him one by one. |

seyilabi: If anybody found him/herself in such situation (God forbid), the best thing is to do is to give out ur pin number as requested to avoid been attacked or killed but in reverse e.g. if ur ATM pin code is 1234 just tell them 4321, the ATM machines will still recognise the code as reversed at immediately activate an internal security system which notify the police, and also block ur account immediately after daily withdrawal limit has been reached. This is a lie, the ATM doesn't know you pin, in fact, it doesn't have the capacity to know your pin. Also your pin is most likely encrypted with a one way encryption algorithm there's no way anyone can know what your pin is unless you tell them. It is virtually impossible for anyone to know the reverse of your pin. |

Trying to comprehend asset acquisition is like trying to explain the theory of relativity. I get your point but everyone should try to know the basics so you can make an informed decision. It so sad to see people looking at a purely business decision from a political angle. |

primus101:
Just to clarify, is it possible for the original founders of an organisation to re-possess it after it has been taken over by Amcon? If it is, what are the requirements? Yes it is possible. It all depends on the agreements made during negotiations. For example, the Murray Bruce family can decide to sell off their shares in the company completely and have nothing to do with it anymore. In cases like the example, Amcon would try and reposition the business, then sell it off too. |

daprince098: It's a good decision that AMCON reconsidered the reopening of Silverbird and other businesses possessed by them. It's not only about Ben Murray-Bruce but over 1000 staff are being affected by this possession. Let's get it cleared that each of these 1000 staff has atleast 3 dependants whom they feed. This make it a total of 3000 that benefit directly or indirectly in Silverbird galeria and other businesses in possession owned by Ben Murray-Bruce. Leave the master of common sense and let's face the reality. Amcon never closes a business, the just change management. Amcon has taken over Aero contractors, Bicourtney and so many other companies. The shut down was to enable the change of management. Nigerians need to separate business from politics. |

Breadmaker: I tell people that Buhari is the architect of his problems. Nigeria has never been this confused and divided. He's is careless with words and rarely asks his advisers for advice. The level of hatred and tribalism in Nigeria today are fruits from the seed of hatred he sowed during Jonathan's tenure. Now the ungovernable country he created for the past leader is right under his control, still ungovernable.
Worse than it was and a sane man expects me to pray for him.

There's a constitutional review process, call your senators, house of reps members , call the people in the North who don't like Buhari and make a deal with them. You'll get sooner than you can imagine. On the contrary, chill the 2019 and only vote those who identify with your cause. Many ways to skin a cat. |

jazzy4naija: It is a fact that the Buratai family have two properties in Dubai that were paid for instamentally through personal savings three years ago. This, along with other personal assets have consistently been declared by General Buratai in his Assets Declaration Form as Commander Multinational Joint Task Force Commander and as Chief of Army Staff.
It is pertinent to state that the Chief of Army Staff does not have any account with Skye Bank as alleged, let alone making deposits in the imaginary bank account to the tune of the amount stated in the write up. Similarly, he has not been involved in any form of shady or dishonest transaction, not to talk of “contract scam”.
In addition, General Buratai was never near either Defence Headquarters or Army Headquarters in 2013. It is pertinent to also note that he was never a Director of procurement in Army Headquarters as alleged. As a matter of fact, the Nigerian Army never had a Directorate of Procurement till when he established one last year when he became Chief of Army Staff. Officially denied . Sahara reporters over to you. |

KingOfAmebo: Sequel to a picture depicting how EFCC Traced 1.3billion NSA Funds To Fayose's Account it beats my imagination that people have failed to use their sense of judgment to see the impossibility in the said picture.
Read the thread here and see people's reaction:
https://www.nairaland.com/3185766/how-efcc-traced-1.3billion-nsa
Sometimes out of pure hatred for an individual, some people just love to display their dumbness with pride.
According to the said picture "N2 Billion Naira(not N2 million) was withdrawned IN CASH by Mr. Obanikoro, Ex-Minister of State for Defence"
How on earth is it possible to withdraw that amount of money "IN CASH" from a bank?
I shake my head for people that believe this is actually possible. PDP said Amaechi flew into Rivers state with 5 billion cash for the election rerun http://www..ng/2016/03/19/rivers-rerun-pdp-releases-photos-alleges-fg-doles-billions-apc-rivers/That's the link up there. 2 billion in cash is nothing in Nigeria if you know to call. |

If Silverbird is closed down, it's average Nigerians like me and you that will lose their jobs and suffer.
This is common sense, the government should put systems in place to help business and companies from closing down. The military approach wouldn't work here.
I have said my own, if things keep getting hard the masses will protest. What's the government's business in this case? |

Just as anybody can maintain, drive and repair an already built car which was already build by an engineer. Those western countries you mentioned are already been structured so anybody can maintain and regulate those things not Nigeria where things aren't properly fixed yet.
This government isn't doing well in electricity aspect. They are only concern about increasing charges without even providing electricity Innoson is not an automobile engineer but he's building cars, how is that possible going by your logic? |
