In the North, Residents of areas Boko Haram members set-up shop are aware of their activities but are intimidated and scared. I don't see that happening in Lagos. They'll get lynched....and i'll gladly join in.

Some people that havnt been in the country for up to a decade sit in diaspora and try to tell us about what we witnessed livehuh...I "know" and "witnessed" the dangers Victoria Island faced b4 the commencement of this project and how this project has solved the problem.

debosky: I read elsewhere that sand filling wasn't going to be complete for a while yet. . .do you have recent pictures of the completed sand filling?
They've decided to extend it beyond the areas initially planned due to the recent Ocean surge that broke the Kuramo spit. I don't have it but i drove past it not too long ago and a large expanse of the ocean has been reclaimed. The sand filling was running parallel to Bar Beach then.

The sand filling and sea wall is complete. That's all there is to see for now, open expanse of land overlooking the ocean. Building and layout works can now commence.

ZACHIE: i am surprised none of you guys had the pleasure to dream and salivate over owning a CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON
CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON CITREON
The only car with a mind of its own. When she sits, she sinks into herself, deep. and when she rises, she does so with great elegance and finesse...oh my Citreon!
Lol!!!...My dad had one while i was growing up and my memory of the car was it sat on its belly for about 2 years immobile due to lack of parts to fix it.

Michky: Foo! Its no longer news that men fight using bottles, knifes etc. Whether you're fighting a man or woman, as long as you fight back or simply challenge the other, you're definately asking for trouble. If the lady didnt challenge him in any way and just stayed away, it wont have gone this far.
You're just exposing your cowardice for the World to see. If its to attack a Woman, people like you are always first but when you meet a man that's your match, you run under your mother's wrapper. There's nothing you can say that will paint you as anything other than a coward....no insult, no brash talk...You're simply a "COWARD". Defending the act of beating and stabbing a Woman. You're reeetarded.
Politics › Re: Pictures From Eko Atlantic Opening Ceremony... by ba7man(m): 9:47am On Feb 23, 2013
With the way some people are busy advocating for "the poor", you would think they really care about them but inside their dark hearts, they just want to justify their hatred for the progress the project stands for. If they really cared about the poor, they would know how this project will favor them.
Politics › Re: Pictures From Eko Atlantic Opening Ceremony... by ba7man(m): 9:33am On Feb 23, 2013
debosky: Now this is just plain dishonest - the managers of the project have involved world-class marine/reclamation consultants with experience in carrying out similar projects. They have carried out extensive testing of extreme weather scenarios to verify the robustness of the design. How much of that are you even aware of or have you examined?

I can understand a philosophical opposition to this type of project based on your economic viewpoint, but there's no need to resort to falsehood.
He's soooo pained by this project he actually wishes death on people. He's dying inside.

2old4that: SÓm girls could be §o naggÍng!

Need for anger management.
A lot of ladies can't help being annoying..Why?? Because they're ladies. So its up to Men to deal with it with maturity. I'd rather walk away from a nagging woman or give her the "silent treatment" till her anger dies than resort to violence.

Politics › Re: Pictures From Eko Atlantic Opening Ceremony... by ba7man(m): 7:43am On Feb 23, 2013
When the project was announced, they said it wasn't possible. Now its being realized they pray for its downfall. Classic case of the black man's "Pull him down" syndrome. The rest saying "The poor" simply fail to realize how many of the "poor" and the middle class this project will provide steady employment for.

Michky: Another thoughtless post blaming the man for everything and forgeting that no smoke can exist without fire. We cant really be certain that the only cause of the violence was questions. She probably insulted him inbetween. Besides, it is hard to find a man who would beat a woman to this extent, if she hadnt challenged him or even attempted to fight back in the first place. Think girl!!
Yes!!!!....Exactly!!!...You are supposed to beat, kick, drag and stomp annoying women on the floor before shooting or stabbing them in the eye....Don't forget to do the same thing to annoying muscular guys too. Eeeeediot.

YoungGame: Brother Joseph the dreamer, keep dreaming grin grin grin
No be human beings dey drive am?? Abi na Angels?? You want me to dream of Toyota and Honda??.....To have cheap dreams?? As a matter of fact, whenever i'm in the UK, i must set aside money and go to a Track-Day meet. Pay money to get driven fast round a track in a fast car......Or have you heard of supercar Clubs??..You pay Money (Though it might be much but a lot of Nigerians can afford it without being aware) and you get a 30day usage of selected choice of supercars eg Lamborgini, Ferrari, Porshe, Bentley. You see, my dreaming has worked out a way to have acess to these cars. Dream.... If you can't dream it...you can't achive it.

I used to go through my dad's car mags and dream of owning the Ferrari F-40 or the Lamborgini Countach ( They both had big rear spoilers that got me weak in the knees ). I'll then start wondering why my dad bought a Volvo estate and a Honda quintet instead of those wonders on wheels.

Car Talk › Re: Fat Tyre And Thine Tyre.what Are Their Advantages by ba7man(m): 6:34pm On Feb 22, 2013
yosmen: in a nutshell, low profile tyres are better for manovering potholes?
Wide, low-profile tires improves high speed stability, grip and handling. Its downside is a harsh ride due to less rubber side-walls to cushion jarrs and vibrations. Skinny tires with high side-walls are the opposite. They handle less and have less grip. They help improve fuel consumption though due to less tire surface resistance.

Dinvestanl: What do u mean by modern? Are ancient cars on the road or in museums?
By modern, i mean the 206 is more recent than the Golf 3. That shouldn't be so hard to understand.
