Goodday sir, I'm really impressed with the way your thread sucked me in and kept me hooked while reading it. I'v added it to the list of write ups I'll read over nd over again. And some people come here to spread hate when they culd b reading a write up like this.....
Crime › Re: Safety tips against Armed Robbery and kidnapping by ba7man(m): 4:16pm On Sep 30, 2012
I know a lot of people travel and return safely so the odds are certainly overated. Robberies occur based on information so there is most likely an insider (willing or unknowingly giving out information about how rich u are, what u are comin in to do and your arrival and movement.). To avoid this, reveal less information about your financial status and try to downplay the real amount you have to people. Also try to minimize the amount of people that are aware of when you are returning.

We need Regionalism and good leaders not new states. If we don't adress this root factors no amount of states created in any region will solve any problem. Fact.

Another one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-19776747
let me try to focus your point. We could also blame the people that interprete Religions to suit their selfish purposes.

Politics › Re: Fearful, Cowardly Fashola Denies Deporting People To Onitsha by ba7man(m): 2:34pm On Sep 30, 2012
No one was there to confirm that this was Fashola's personal decision so we shuldnt point fingers yet. Truely, people have a right to settle anywhere in the country but that should b discouraged in Lagos b'cause Lagos is already a Worldwide case study in overcrowding. Finally, I'm certain that 99.9999 percent of Igbo population weren't affected by this deportation exercise.

Frankly, I don't reckon this is an issue that's worth raising your blood pressures over. If u hadn't heard the information wouldn't your lives hav continued the way it was?? Now that you've heard it has your lives changed?? If "NO" there's no point getting worked up over it. As for the Ghanians they enjoy poking fun this way b'cos of the reactions they get...it fuels it. Why can't we all just face our day and forget about Malawians not luvin us....I'v not lost weight since I heard it and my bank account is still the same.

I get you. It can be tempting to poke fun at ppl, there's a little devil in everyone of us. But you have to remember that a lot of nerves are already frayed.

I'm putting finishing touches to a plan i designed, I'm trying to adress the issue of affordable housing in Nigeria and I'v arrived at a very good plan (after months of brainstorming), now I'm trying to figure out the materials to use to cut cost without compromising quality. By God's grace, once the proposal is ready shopping for investors would be the next step. How have you spent your last hour??

otumfour: multi-tasking dude.....wht abt u......wht u doing up this late in nigeria?.....oh' I forgot y'all sensitive as furk....
Waking up early to reflect is a habit I developed, it helps me focus on positivity. If you spent the time u spent trolling on reading or meditating, I'm sure you'll know better right now.....and this also goes to everyone spreading negative comments.

Choose what you do with your time wisely b'cos it will determine where you'll end up in future. How can you dedicate hours to trolling and feel good about it?? I'm Nigerian but if a Nigerian acts this way I'd tell him the same thing. Go to sleep and think about where you want to be in your future, create a plan, build enthusiasm and work on it.....not trollin.

Goodmorning everyone, pls Smoothcrim, Otumfour, I'v just woken up to pray, plan and prepare some Architectural drawings, decided to scan a few posts on Nairaland and seen that you spent precious time you could be using to move your lives forward or reflecting on how to be of service to your country spreading hate messages online. I don't know you both personally but this shows the kind of individuals you are in reality. Time is valuable, use it wisely and also, words of mouth have the ability to destroy or create. Choose what you do with your words carefully b'cos it will be accounted for in the end.

Rossikk: Wow. All this because I pointed out to some guy that America was 1000 times more corrupt than Nigeria, with exhaustive examples. Is that why you're vexed, slaveboy? Somebody better grab your two ankles before you disappear completely up whitey's asssss.
On the contrary sir, an environment is the collective effort of individuals residing in it. Comparing the Nigerian and American society we can deduce where corruption is King. Minus sentiment, haven't been to the US but with what i see of it its the most advanced society in the world and its not possible that its foundation is corruption.....dedication to quality in all aspects is more like it. NB: They still have their faults too.
Politics › Re: Religion Against Humanity By Wole Soyinka by ba7man(m): 2:25am On Sep 29, 2012
The title of the post should be "Man against Humanity". The Bible says "The heart of Man is desperately wicked" so even if there was no religion man would have found other excuses to debase his fellow man. Speaking for Christianity (Followers of Christ),we are supposed to use Jesus as a template on which we base our lives and his teachings the base of our moral judgement and reasoning. The Old Testaments may b filled with some questionable activities but our orientation sways more to the New Testaments. Now read your Bibles and decide for yourself if the character of Jesus isn't worth emulating.

Siena: The Bugatti Veyron 16,4 is 521 bhp / tonne.

Putting the power down cleanly won't be an issue, even in the wet with all-season tyres. Don't forget, I have the advantage of Quattro permanent AWD, with TORSEN central differential.
U'v said it all. I'll definitely have a good time following this thread. I'm an avid Audi fan too. Looking forward to purchasing an A5 1.8T Manual transmission by God's grace.

That reminds me of what an American Patent officer said in 1900. "That everything that can be invented has been invented". With humans, this is just the begining.

It will put some in their proper place in that region and they will understand how good they have it in the FAILED state of Nigeria!
Sir, I'v noticed you're not very vast b'cos your topics only have "Ghana rule" in them.....surely you should have more information to provide us but i doubt that. Even your various online IDs are either "Smoothcrim" this or "smoothcrim" that", no variations.
Car Talk › Re: Audi B5 420-R: The Build. by ba7man(m): 6:20pm On Sep 28, 2012
Siena: Thanks for your comment bro. Building a Nigerian-branded car will require starting from scratch. Even if the engines are out-sourced, the bodyshell is the hardest part. But who knows what the future holds?

As per the acceleration times, stock Audi S8 times as per Audi's figures below:

Audi S8 4,2 V8 32V, 340 bhp 5-speed tiptronic, 1,858 kgs, 0 - 62 mph (100 km/h): 6,6 secs.
Audi S8 4,2 V8 32V, 340 bhp 6-speed manual, 1,750 kgs, 0 - 62 mph (100 km/h): 5,4 secs.

Audi S8 5-speed Tiptronic power-to-weight ratio is 183 bhp / ton. (brake horse power divided by weight) so 340 hp / 1858 kgs.
Audi A4 B5 6-speed manual power-to-weight ratio is 340 bhp / ton. (brake horse power divided by weight) so 340 hp / 1000 kgs.

So I'm estimating 4,2 - 4,4 secs 0 - 62 mph. Next year, the S8 motor will be running a single turbo, in a rebuilt motor. Target power is 530 bhp. So power-to-weight ration will be 515 bhp per ton, assuming roughly a 30 kilo weight gain (turbocharger, pipework, charge cooler). So an estimate of 0 - 62 mph times will be sub-3 seconds on street tyres.

My aim is to build a sub-10 second car (quarter mile).
OH MY GAWD!!! That's a real scorcher you building there...I belive the Bugatti Veyron is about 630BHP/Tonne. I hope there's a way to put all that power down on the road cleanly while avoiding wheelspin. Mayb if I come over to the UK. U'll take me 4 a spin in it, I'm sure you do Trackdays.

I really don't care if an Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, American rules this country. As a matter of fact Zoning is primitive and it lays emphasis on division. A credible leader is more important than his tribe.

Good day Mr Siena, been following this project of yours for a while now nd i think you should consider building a Nigerian branded vehicle in the future. Even if its a prototype. Sir, how fast do you reckon ur finished work will go...like 0-62mph, 0-100mph?? Considering the Hp of the S8 engine and your target weight. Eagerly awaiting these results.
Car Talk › Re: What To Do If You See A Pothole At 100km/hr Speed Or Above? by ba7man(m): 12:56pm On Sep 28, 2012
Pls, note these points carefully:
(1) Know your car's handling capabilities. A BMW can sucessfully avoid the pothole but a Honda or Toyota might crash. (2) Press your breaks to slow down but never hold it into the pothole. Release it just b4 u enter to reduce d impact. Some potholes are less felt when enterd with speed. (3) Never break and turn ur steering wheel sharply at the same time. (4) B aware of traffic behind u.

Instead our ignorant leaders keeps wasting tax payers money to sponsor such so called holy trip. Nonsense. Let all of them stay back in Nigeria and pray. This just the beginning, as long as we Nigerians keeps rushing to foreign lands hoping that, that is where our messiah would come from, they will also try to use, mal treat and humiliate us. Let the wise hear
A logical conclusion to this whole issue.
