If I was a parent of one of the girls I would definitely want the issue to be part of the elections campaign. A country in which over 200 girls can be kidnapped and disappear completely without a trace is a failed state. The leader under which such a travesty occurred should not be allowed to continue irrespective of the circumstances.

It's important the public know that the buses belonging to GEJ campaign team were burned down along the outskirt of Jos, Bauchi Road by unruly youths shouting SAI BUHARI to the air. How can guys shouting "Sai Buhari" be tagged PDP supporters? The amount of lies in circulation this days by APC is unbelievable. The devil most be jealous.

Where did you hear that the youths were shouting Sai Buhari? I saw the video of the incident and nobody was shouting that.

First you need to ask yourself what are you looking for in a leader. Then look at the options available to you. Nobody is going to satisfy all your requirements but you have to choose the person that best fits your expectations. I hope that helps.
Personally my own issue is corruption, I'm looking for a leader who can stop or at least reduce the massive looting of public funds that is dragging this country down.

@Babadee1, my grouse with GMB is the crude and selective nature he fought corruption in his previous attempt.. I really do not think that strategy will work in the 21st century...if you say he will strengthen institutions I will be swayed by that argument...every country that has successfully fought corruption did so by strengthening their anti crime institutions. please that is the way to go, but I doubt if he has the intelligence and will power to do that, not with the caliber of people he has been parading around with.

His running mate Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is a professor of constitutional and international law. I don't think Jonathan has a person of that caliber anywhere in his cabinet. You don't judge a leader by his own deficiencies but by his ability to pick the right people who will support him in his areas of weakness.
If you're willing to keep an open mind look into it and you will see that GMB is a better choice than GEJ.

even if Buhari serves for one term or less, born to rule must insist that its clan must complete eight years in office as president. and there is nothing the rest of Nigeria can do to stop it, more so, given the bad way some people must have treated Jonathan.

and by 2023, born to rule must have consolidated power, bought all oppositions to it retaining power, and thus winning the presidency in 2023 must have become a matter of the fittest. of course, born to rule must win in 2023 and must continue till who knows when. and born to rule must make Nigeria deteriorate - insecurity and worse economy - as usual.

Which born to rule? The same born to rule that allowed Jonathan to finish Yar'Adua's tenure and even voted for him considerably in the last elections? The same born to rule that voted massively for MKO Abiola against their own son Bashir Tofa? And later supported OBJ against this same Buhari?
Honestly I think people need to be fair to the north. They dominated under the military rule only because of their sheer numbers in the army. Since civilian rule in 1999 out of 16 years the north has only done two! Please drop this born to rule nonsense abeg.

I know he can fight corruption because he has done it before. The way to fight corruption is not through technology contrary to what GEJ may tell you. The only answer to corruption is swift, certain, severe and consistent punishment. That is the way other countries tackle corruption so why should Nigeria's case be any different? Now tell me which leader in Nigeria's history has fought against corruption more than Buhari.

After a hectic day yesterday, Forward Nigeria called me to furnish them with my voters details. That they are a group supporting Mr.President re-election, they ask me to confirm if I live in south/south and will vote there, I affirmed, the caller then ask me to give him my PVC details since I live in PH and he is sure I will vote for GEJ that they will soon be having a conference there. I kept my cool and this is what I told the caller on phone:

Go tell your President that he has treated PH with distain and hate from all indication, when was the last time he visited the state capital bar passing through to Bayelsa and other states. I bluntly told him that, I won't be voting for Jonathan since no one of his 2011 election promises at Liberation Stadium where scores of people died as a result of stampade caused by his overzealous security personnels who decided to shut down all exits points have been fulfilled.

Jonathan will win in Rivers State but Buhari will get up to 40% votes cos even his die hard suppoters here are beginning to see reasons why he should vacate Aso Rock.
