After some time he came back to the parlour and apologise to everyone except me for been a nusiance and after that he wanted to discuss with me and I shouted at him saying back off. After sometime he wanted talking to me and I just ignore him as if nobody is talking and after talking I just close my laptop and gave him a bad gesture and left the palour then he reply that I am looking at him as a vallian that he is not a bad guy.
The next day his girlfriend came visiting him and was smiling at me and i just reply her with a bone face and left. Then after sometime he came apologising to me that what he did to me was wrong that he did it under the influence of acholol which I know but I said to myself for him to say this to me when he was drunk meaning he has been harbouring such thoughts in his mind and the alcohol just gave him the courage to express his racist characters to me. I told him I forgive him but right now I don't trust any English people or white people because for such a guy to laugh and joke with u and still be a racist his something terrible. You're in the UK. Naija people are plenty there. Look for your own people to bond with and live with before you get into trouble because one oyinbo wan set you up.

I gained admission to study in a federal university in Nigeria in 2019 but due to ASUU strike I didn't resume until 2021.
During the wait,I decided I wanted to study in Canada.So I applied to Canadian schools before I resumed in the federal university last year.
Before the end of 100level,I applied for my visa in October and due to delay I had to defer to Sept 2022.
My parents said I should continue studying in the federal university pending the time I get my visa.
The issue is I was asked to withdraw from my faculty in school because I didn't get the required points to move to 200 level. My parents are advising me to change to a lower course that I can't sit at home that it would bring disgrace to them.
Right now, I'm so confused.Should I listen to their advice or wait for my visa and learn skills while waiting

Continue your studying and try to double your efforts with your academics. When you get the visa you need to be in study mode for school life in Canada. You will struggle to study if you stay at home too long especially as you're already having academic challenges. Make up your mind to study hard that's the only true road to future success. I have been dating my girlfriend for some years now. She became an orphan recently, so I decided to open a shop for her so she can start earning something for her not to turn herself into something else since no family support.

I visited someone, the dog was lying close to the door, I tried to touch it so it could go away it just bit me. Small bite with scratches on my fingers(I guess the scratches are from its nails) I went to the clinic and took tetenus injection and they also gave me anti-rabies injection too (5k per one) and said I'm supposed to take it 3 times but I'm strapped for cash currently. I heard if a dog transmit rabies, it would die after few days. Should I still be worried if the dog doesn't die? I mean if the dog is healthy and alive does it means it couldn't have had rabies infection to transmit during bite? I need advice from only those with knowledge of the matter
If the dog doesn't die after ten days then you're safe it doesn't have rabies. Pls never try to touch a strange dog especially suddenly, they see it as a threat.
