You pay the IHS afresh but I think the unused IHS from the PSW should be automatically refunded after 6 weeks (most likely not always the case). After which u can notify UKVI to refund you.
Nice one

They wrote 18+ for a reason, Children should NOT be watching anything that has 18+ on it. I don't understand how people parent these days, when we were younger there were people that were not even allowed to watch any Nollywood movies.

As a parent, why will you see 18+ SNLV, and continue watching such a thing with your children? If it was released in the cinemas, do you know they will not sell ticket to anyone under 18? It is not the work of movie makers to keep movies kid friendly, it is your work as a parent to filter what your kids watch.

Make everybody come dey watch cocomelon because you born?

Not everything is family friendly, the nudity is there because the movie is for adults. Check for Ratings before you call your children for movie night.
So we should send children away when you want to watch a movie? That would raise their curiosity and trust them they will satisfy it. Nudity should be toned down on our screens.

Good morning, if someone gets psw and months later gets cos, how will they pay for ihs? Will they pay for 5 years or just add up to what they paid for psw?

The total package is surely above minimum wage and i will explain.
As a full time nanny (7-days a week), maxiumum you can work is 8hrs/day and with minumum wage of 10£/hr gives you 2400£/month before tax and 1900£ after taxes. Accomodation & all utilities averagely 900£, feeding,Wifi Internet/mobile and other household expenses is averagely 600£. Hence if i pay extra 400£, i am matching the minimum wage already. Mind you, i didnt include cost of transportation, etc that would be saved when working a full time nanny.
Going by your analysis, it should be £400 per week.

No be mumu movie abeg.

Anybody watching because of the nudity is just a pervert that needs psychological help.

It was a very good movie, not with as many twists and suspense as KOB did, but still very very good and the acting performances were all great.

Nigerians need to purge themselves of the need to appear moralist, or frown upon nudity in movies. The nudity in this movie was necessary, so was the rape scene. The writing was very good and I say this as a writer myself. It was also more inclusive than in KOB.
Please and please, stop comparing KOB with any movie. KOB exists in its own world abeg.

Please is it true that NHS COS is only for medical personnel and from band 5 upward? Got an offer with a trust but the hr told me that they can't sponsor whereas the advert stated they would sponsor. It's an IT role. Secondly, will I pay for ihs again if i want to switch from graduate visa to tier 2?

While I don't have a problem with anyone becoming whatever they want, I have a lot of problem with my kids been a part of these lessons and I feel the easiest way out for now is to subscribe to home schooling. Please how do one go about it?

Happy new year. Please I need a sincere advice for my next move.I got admission to southwales for Feb intake . I'm making 6 digits monthly here in Nigeria.I have a wife.As a Student with dependent is it possible for both of us to be saving like 3k pounds in a month.
It is not possible for a student with a dependant to be saving that amount in a month, not when you can't work more than 20 hours as a student. Even if your spouse is taking £5k per month after tax and NI deduction, your rent, bills and accomodation will take large chunk of the earning. The good thing is things get better as journey on and don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself. Come and LIVE in the UK.

Hello people, can teachers in the UK on this platform kindly share their experience in the UK classrooms. There're loads of write ups and videos out there portraying teaching in the UK as working in hell because of some students' unruly behaviours, and consequently making some Nigerians who wanted to wanted to explore the teaching route that will be opened in February to rescind on their decision. Your views will be highly appreciated.

I have been checking some of them online ( 1.Masterschool-should be the best with juicy offer of paying tuition only when you land a job but too expensive £11000, 2. Careerera- cheap but bad online review can't afford to waste time and money o )
Abeg I need recommendation from our fellow naija that must passed through this same process .
Co asking for someone with Mathematics background. Boot Camp for data science or data analysis.

Another person will read this, good person with pure heart will seek for help, the sole helper after reading this won't want to help.

I just gained admission into a school in the UK without funds. My dad wants to use his properties to get a loan for me so I could pay my £5.5k deposit and cover the rest for visa processing, but unfortunately no banks want to give loans. My senior sister brought up the idea of getting a loan from my dad's friend, who is very rich, with our collateral. Funny enough, my dad has never gone on to seek any help from the man before, despite being his close friend. We went there, and the man said he doesn't borrow or give people money again, and that all his money outside is N82 million, which people have failed to return. Before getting there, my dad was so sure he will help, and we were so ashamed of ourselves for not getting the help from the man. My dad felt so embarrassed, and I pity that man (my dad). On the road, he told me that if he had known the man wouldn't help, he wouldn't have stepped his toe into his house for this kind help, because he doesn't know how to ask for help from people.
Just because of how people have paid this man back with evil, now they are about to block my dream move.

Relating it to this your post, if genuine people with pure and simple heart come for your assistance just because of your experience with this nigga you won't want to help.

I pray God reward your kindness in abundant way beyond your imagination. Please don't stop helping people because of this.
This can't happen again.

@babajeje the post shows how gentle you are oo. Going to call someone for meals in your own house and after you paid for it, that's you being extra nice and absolutely not necessary.

You have to be very very FIRM and don't let anyone trample on you, your family or rights.
Sit him down and tell him emphatically that he needs to move out in so so time (a month is too much) but since you have been magnanimous enough why not and it will be easier if you don't collect a dime from him so he can move out with his bad behaviours.

Not collecting any money from him would also help you yarb in future and posterity but more importantly eviction if it comes to that level of force.

Don't let this discourage you from helping, but ONLY help people that have been nice to you, sacrificed lots for you in the past or people that ask for it. He would have sorted himself anyways...

Also, don't let anyone make you feel uncomfortable in your own house and infact let madam take over if you want to be the nice one grin
Madam will scatter everywhere which I don't want

There's the YouKay way and the 9ja way. Each comes in 2s
The 9ja way of accommodating and also gra gra.
There's the YouKay way of cold-shoulder and politeness (though can be passive aggressive!)
You've shown/given the YouKay politeness and 9ja accommodating. That's how it ought to be.
However, when things turn around, then the cold-shoulder comes in without the gra-gra. Though passive aggressive might be needed!

I'm a believer of the two-sided story. However, even at that, there's the on face value (prima facie).
In the circumstances, read up on @Ticha posts on room/house boarder. There's recourse in 'law' (without the need of 9ja gra-gra. All the best.
But then street #cold o!!! #JustSayingNio
PS: your 'friend' is not representative of Nigerians. That does not mean there're no 9ja like him.

By the way, seems you went against your own admonition to your wifey ... she showed it. It was like a pay-back moment for all the guy's behaviours to her in Naija but I would not have any of that ... [b]You too wan show the guy for all his nonsensical nonsense behaviours since he moved in. wink smiley wink[\b]
There's absolutely nothing like the bolder as I don't do that.

You need to let him go within a week. You have kids in the house and you shouldn't have someone behaving this way in the same house with your family.
