mekuszyx:Call it criticism or whatever you want and feel free to shout and scream about how Yoruba people love to kill themselves, we don't care and we're not about to lose a min of sleep and we don't have thin skin like you. Do you see us calling you Ignorant, dimwits or what ever lousy languages you guys have used in this and other threads to try to bully people to keep quiet? This is how you guys operate and it's all played out. Cry babies, |
ezeagu:This is the kind of delusional utterances and and silly arrogance that's still betraying you all. I did not state any opinion, I stated facts based on what we see most Igbo people display on NR 24/7. You guys have opinions about anything and every living soul in Nigeria and elsewhere, you start threads to talk about and ridicule other people at will, but the min a word is said about you guys, you get childish, petty and start acting a fool. You call people names and cry to be left alone, you quickly run and take cover under Biafra and other BS. Your predictable response basically proved my point. Grow up. |
Funny how Igbo people sits here everyday and talk about everybody and their mama, but they don't wanna get talked about. Y'all must be smoking something, you get talk about same way you rum mouth about other people. Freeking get used to it. Cry babies. Y'all want pacifier?, lol |
Ezenwenyi:But why because of Ojukwu if he's not God? |
RoadStar:Is Ojukwu a tribe or he's just another Nigerian like you and me? Lower your guard a little bit. |
metal-gong:I don't think the poster was talking about tribe, do you even know the poster's tribe and Nationality. Talk about pathetic knee Jerking and tribal paranoia. |

He ain't saying something we don't already know. Once again, Lagosians just lead, they just showed the Nation how to agree and disagree, effective leadership and conflict resolution, political maturity and sophistication. We don't have to kill and burn down houses to realize that at the end of the day, we're all striving towards the same goals and a prosperous Lagos state. Lesson learned. |
den no born dem well. awon oloshi enemy of progress. the idiots are trying to pull the same nonsense like they did with the metro rail in the 70s. how do you hate and kill your own? the road is messed up and has been for years, the foolish idiots didn't lift a finger, now all of a sudden, the word federal is flying all over the place. we sure are cursed for having these clowns as leaders. |
Fhemmmy:Importantly, all the parties involved have swallowed the message and Lagosians showed that they care and are not willing to roll over just because. Fashola got the message Tinubu got the message Tinubu's boy's got the message And Lagosians remains on alert. The fact is, we all have a lot at stake and the fear of any king of instability in Lagos state, regardless of the color of the instability must be resolved because Lagos state is bigger than one man. Lagosians are blessed with progressive leaders and politically suphisticated and engaged citizenry. Everybody's boundaries and expectations has been highlighted and filed away. It's time to shake off the minor distraction and go back to what we do best, leading as usual. |
Together we move foward. |
https://i49.tinypic.com/149zcyr.gif https://i46.tinypic.com/1zbs2t3.jpg Fashola Addresses Coalition Of Youths For Good Governance Feb 1, 2010 - Dear Lagosians, I feel compelled to address you this morning in the interest if our common good. It is public knowledge that certain unsavory publications have been making the rounds impugning the reputations and integrity of members of different arms of our Government, the Nigerian Bar Association and our leaders. I believe that at the appropriate time and at the appropriate forum we will defend ourselves. Let us all remember that the June 12 Election was annulled by an unsigned press release like the faceless advert that was recently issued and we are yet to recover from it. Lagos is not in any crises. There are urgent national issues to be resolved and our attention must not be diverted from finding a solution. I respect the right of citizens to protest and to show concern about what happens in our State but I must caution that rallies and protests at this stage may seem pre-emptive. Particularly, I feel the need to state that we must all remember that the foundations for good governance which we are all concerned about has been built on peace and stability which we have all worked hard to secure and this must never be compromised. Importantly, I am concerned that the information highway has been used to malign the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a manner which I humbly think is undeserving. I wish to advise us to be very reluctant to cast the stone of judgment. Whatever may be our personal opinions, I am certain that we will not disagree on one fact. The fact is that but for the Grace of God, the courage of Asiwaju and your votes, I would not be Governor. If we have achieved so much together, we must pause to reflect and realize that Asiwaju is certainly not the villain some unscrupulous and faceless people are using the media to portray him as. Asiwaju stood up for Lagos, for you and for me when it mattered most. This is not the reward he deserves. I am also convinced that men and women of the State House of Assembly are persons of character who will act in your best interest at all times because you elected them to represent you. A rally in my name to support me against Asiwaju is not called for because there is no contest or conflict. Those who want to beat drums of war should kindly do so outside our State. I urge those who have chosen to hide behind text messages to desist from inciting our people needlessly and I urge all law abiding citizens to be more circumspect about those messages and faceless adverts issues through the media. Finally, in the name of all that is decent, I appeal to all Lagosians to allow peace to reign so that we can continue our development work. This is our biggest challenge as a people and we need all hands on deck to achieve it. I thank you all sincerely in anticipation of your acceptance of this appeal for the progress of dear State. Eko o ni baje! Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN Governor of Lagos State |
