Beef, like I told you before, you're not mentally and emotionally strong and equipped to debate and function rationally in threads. You engage people and when they do same, you start posting ridiculous nonsensical pictures and coursing people's parents like a juvenile. It is not by force to engage other people, pull yourself together sometimes, |
Mekana:Obviously, you do. |
I really don't want Fashola to contest nationally and I'd love for him to stay in Lagos, @ least till the end of his second term. Fashola and his boys are die hard Lagosians and I don't see them going to Abuja for anything. Even to the average Lagos, Abuja is irrelevant and Lagos comes first. Lagos is a state of mind, a way of life and culture. |
Beef, it's not my fault that you failed to adequately prove that I throw tribal insults, I nerver commented or say anything about your race or that my tribal costume's are better than yours. You're obviously overreaching. |
Beef, I still don't get your point because I've explained myself already. |
tpia. Can we please move on? This thread is not about you, geezz |
Beaf:Calling people corrupt politicians what they are is tribal and racist. And why racist anyways, I'm I not black myself and if you're talking about the costume, I just don't like them same way I don't like agabda and skinny jeans. Beef, please be serious, |
tpia.:That was qualifying and defining revers tribalism, I didn't say you are a tribalist. I didn't say tpia is or you are a tribalist. Don't blame me for your flawed sense of comprehension. The fact is, you labeled yourself a tribalist in this thread. This is getting juvenile, |
Beaf:I've engaged several threads where regional issues were discussed and because you assert facts that the other side finds objectionable doesn't mean you are a tribalist or throwing tribal insults. People are very sensitive and they don't want to here any less than pretty facts right or wrong about their tribe, They just don't like your facts, Like I said, feel free to prove or show where transgressed tribaly, |
tpia.:I didn't call call you a tribalist, you called yourself a tribalist. Show me where I did and stop acting delusional. tpia.: |
onye_ngbu:I'm not a tribalist and never been. You're free to prove me wrong with facts if you must. |
tpia.:I believe this thread is about refraining from throwing tribal insults and sentiments and so far in this thread, no tribal insults. What we are doing is what this thread was designed to do. We should be able to go back and forth like adults and so far, there's no reason for me to ignore you because I started this thread to allow us to discuss and dialogue and you're allowed to participate and share your thoughts regardless of your position for or against. I'll ignore you the very second you deploy tribal insults. PERIOD. |
tpia.:Why are you still here wasting your time then? I'm sure there are more than enough tribal threads out there to shower your precious tribal time on. Are you even listening to yourself? |
tpia.:The fact is, most of these threads are baits by insecure people designed to attract other insecure people. Like I said before, you don't have to jump over the bridge because other people are. You are your own person and there's no need to take cues from ignorant tribal bigots and hate peddlers. You enable and empower them to thrive. |
KnowAll:I don't think so, maybe in Nigeria because we do things backwards like we're still back in the stone age. Intelligent and rational positioning is good for politics, not tribalism. Tribalism allows you to shortchange yourself and the people you took oaths to serve, protect and look out for. Tribalism allows you to blur the difference between right and wrong. |
Why patronize threads with titles like An Igbo man did this/ that or a Yoruba man did this/that when a man or woman this or that would have sufficed? |
Anyway, let's ignore the distraction and carry on with the subject matter. It's my believe that we have so much in common, but we're not willing to reach out, explore and take advantage of anything. We needlessly distract ourselves with worthless tribal sentiments. We even subscribe to what we know is bad for us and our future just because of tribal considerations. We don't see good on the other side of the fence, we see only fear and mistrust, it's like education is incapable of washing away the dirty stench of ignorance and tribalims, |
OMO IBO:I see what you're saying. I honestly think we can go back back n forth discussing the subject matter as long as we're not throwing tribal insults at each other, |
tpia.:If we all log off NL because we disagree, there wont be a soul left on NL but you talking to yourself. Stop arguing like a brick head. Dude, it's not by force to repeat the same nonsense, I heard you the first time. Do you and be all you can be, defend your insecure self to eternity. na you biko. |
OMO IBO:In what way because I'm still on the same message and feel free to lead me where I transgressed. |
tpia.:Are you not the one going crazy because you think you're about to be stripped of your rights to be a tribal bigot and racists like the ones you're defending yourself against? Be what you must be, it just doesn't mean what you must be is good for your fragile and insecure self. |
tpia.:edit, Why are you convulsing? You don't have to slit your wrist because of babapupa. Dude, kill yourself if you like sef, lol. see wahala o. I don't have to deal with your stupidity and tribal nonsense, I ignore such crap. Do you see me pay attention to the likes of mekusxxx and the other tribal zombies? @ least not lately. |
tpia.:You don't have to jump over the bridge because other people are like mumu. Try make sense small small. Stooping down to absurd level because you are defending your tribe means your thoughts ain't any different from what you're challenging, meaning you are what you're criticizing. Only insecure and shallow people waka around defending themselves over what's not what defending. |
tpia.:This discussion is about NL, not about joining other forums. Let's stay focused my friend, |
Yes, babapupa is talking tribalists. We can stop it, |
We know the tribalists, we see their bait threads and titles and we still join in to encourage and enable them to spew their nonsense to start more needless and pointless threads. We know they thrive on the back and forth so why not just sidestep such threads and deny them the attention and oxygen? Tribalism is a state of mind and you can't change such mindsets. It's a disease and problem they have to fix on their own. If you don't like tribal threads, ignore and don't encourage, encouraging simply = you're are part of the problem and you have no morale right to judge and complain because you enable them, you give them the time of the day to thrive and live to start another silly, ignorant and annoying thread. |
It's a tough job, somebody got to do it. We'll get there, it's just a matter of time. Eko o ni baje, |
onye_ngbu:Why not just go ahead and share with us any credible and available documentation to back that up? Must you guys just talk and insult people's intelligence needlessly. |
naijaking1:,Apart from Sanusi's public relation campaign to show his own relevance and different understanding of what a CBN governor ought to be doing, do you have any other evidence to support this stupidly shameful allegation? What you labeled Sanusi's public relation campaign to show his own relevance exposed Soludo's incompetencies, ineffectiveness, gross neglect and total abdicated the duties. He basically presided over rot and concerted fleecing of the country's banking establishments. |
Dede1:You can not substitute real life competency, sound judgment and credible managerial skills with education. Dude was shamefully lousy and negligent managing a common government agency and you're advocating placing the lives of millions of people in his hands. Can't help but question your own sense of judgment and rationality. |
Mr. Cartha:All this within 2 years, just imagine wetin Fashola go turn lagos to by the time he comot from office, lagos go dey compete steadily with best capitals around the world, |
