I believe this thread is about refraining from throwing tribal insults and sentiments and so far in this thread, no tribal insults. What we are doing is what this thread was designed to do.

We should be able to go back and forth like adults and so far, there's no reason for me to ignore you because I started this thread to allow us to discuss and dialogue and you're allowed to participate and share your thoughts regardless of your position for or against.

I'll ignore you the very second you deploy tribal insults. PERIOD.

Some NLers' job is to start tribalistic threads- so its not just about the thread title but the fact that certain users post nothing but tribal threads.

Intelligent and rational positioning is good for politics, not tribalism. Tribalism allows you to shortchange yourself and the people you took oaths to serve, protect and look out for. Tribalism allows you to blur the difference between right and wrong.

Why patronize threads with titles like An Igbo man did this/ that or a Yoruba man did this/that when a man or woman this or that would have sufficed?

We know they thrive on the back and forth so why not just sidestep such  threads and deny them the attention and oxygen?  Tribalism is a state of mind and you can't change such mindsets. It's a disease and problem they have to fix on their own.
