reason: too good roads (that is the roads are too smooth for them and hence overspeed)This still govt. Power without control is dangerous. let them put camera on the road. if you overspeed; the luxurious Bus pay N1million. THEY WOULD stop. but same govt dont even have record of all 'car-plates' numbers in Nigeria Again and again; civilised countries have shown us; 95% road accidents are preventable. Nigeria is only place where you have 5000 die on roads every year! It got to stop! Transport minister have not said anything about this. |

you are all correct in different ways. 1. a road should not have pot-holes! thats already an accident situation. Govt is in charge of that. so they screwed-up. it took strike by international airlines for OBJ to repair 'pot-hole' on MM runway last year. 2. Reckless driving by driver is product of bad govt; no clear policy on control + training of drivers(road safety) 3. Over speeding is also product of bad govt; if you have cameras everywhere and you had to pay N50,000.00 fine, you wont do it again. Civilized places have shown us that 'most road accidents' are avoidable but Nigeria never learn.! Some 5,000 are killed on Nigeria's notoriously dangerous roads each year.This is war, that needs to be defeated. |

The air that surrounds our earth acts as a nice blanket to keep us warm and comfy! But the moon, since it doesn't have this blanket, gets much colder than the earth — and much hotter than the earth. the flag waves because the astronauts were wiggling the flagpole back and forth trying to get it to stick in the lunar soil. Given that kind of motion, any cloth would wave whether it is in a vacuum or notThe flag is on its own and astronaut standing away. so how can it wave?

Live in Nigeria is worth less than that of a dog in civilised societies.means a cat or Dog in civilised society live longer, enjoy life than average Nigeria. It's so sad to here this tragic incidence. Justg look at those human beings roasted live like animals to the slaughter. It's very sad.YES. It is shameful. This is national mourning. The flag should be lowered. In a country that has $40billion foreign reserves; people are roasted alive. no wonder Nigeriansa re running away to US/UK like soldier ants Obasanjo and the past leaders are to blame for all the woes in Nigeria.Yes. Leave Obasanjo alone. The tanker driver was obviously over-speeding. Didn't he know that the road had potholesSeun, your statement above is shocking! This is Federal Road. If OBJ with 300BILLION wasteed have repaired/resurface the road, there would not have been a pot-hole and there would not have been any need for the petrol tanker to divert because of the pot-hole. And those people would still be alive. This is an avoidable death! So one need to be punished for this. Also, a truck with 'full fuel' does not have same capability to speed when its empty. So this is not issue of over-speeding. There some section of that roads, where the you have to 'hold hard to your steering' as its melted due to heavy use. |

Simple!true for Nigeria as a country but not for those 'poor soul'; they were not trying to siphon fuel, they were simply going about their lawful business. if they had chance, they should/would have ran away from Nigeria. Atleast people are not been roasted alive on roads in UK, US etc. |

So even after watching Al Qaeda accept blame for the incident, even after Al Qaeda released video clips of the Hijackers' will and 'pre-martyrdom' speeches, you still can come up with this STUPID theoryUS played along with Alqeda. They knew about the attack but did not stop it rather they added some fuel to it. While Alqeda is happy, they knew not, that they were used for much more larger aim. This is case of hunter becoming the hunted. It is like you heared thieves are coming to your house, you left the door unlocked, put your valuable close to entrance so you can claim bigger compensation from the issurance. |

there is no creditcard in Nigeria but debitcard. creditcard: you dont need to have bank account or money; you only need to have employment or means to pay back. you pay small percentage every month, when they send the 'bill' to you. is anyone of those cards in Nigeria like that? but its dangerous; you amount credit quickly and interest builds up 1 Like |
