...the lyrics of the soundtrack is literally the plot. ...the only indication of pregnancy is throwing up. ...Hanks Anuku comes back from America after 25 years, and he has a thick British accent |
bittyend: Nigerians and their stone age mentality - and they took that bs to Paris.. Why not get married in your hometown?? Nigerians in diaspora travel to Nigeria to get married - but low-self esteem haviing pricks at home, always do the opposite..What's your beef? ? @Topic; Those pictures are headache inducing. They make the wedding look bootleg-ish. I love the asymmetrical neckline on her dress and her minimal-jewelry. She's beautiful! |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBoV1VSpKLo This is Nigerian, but it's very francophone-ish. I love it! ![]() |
sweetcocoa: See this one, notice me,welcome i don see you,btw last time i checked you don't own NL too so i don't get why that post should be your business abi seun don give you the job of attacking anyone that mentions his name too? You've heard what I said/typed. You don't own NL. Quit crying about the topics on the Home page. If this topic had sat here without anyone noticing it and commenting on it's "Senselessness", what use would it be to Seun? Would it have generated as much traffic? Nope. Their heads don't need to be checked. |
dayokanu: That is the truth. No man would allow the vile tongued woman attack his own family, Ideally the man would remain neutral as long as both sides dont push their case too far and arent extremely unreasonable
besides a man will always support his family whether wrong or right dats d hidden truth.
That's strange. If the wife is 100% right and the family members are being jerks, the husband still takes their side? Why am I married to him then? Why am I his wife? |
May i say that u made a very big mistake by confronting her.u should learn 2 b more tolerant & besides a man will always support his family whether wrong or right dats d hidden truth.
Coogar, how true is this? |
ronkebp: 1. women should not marry a man for marrying sake. How are we so sure you didn't make this up? |
dayokanu: IYou must be joking. Go to owambes and see people devouring pieces of meat like there's no tomorrow. Whose lineage did she insult? You're trying too hard to make it look like OP is at fault. |
dayokanu: Ok given they have prior issues and the SIL is in the house, We dont know the circumstance leading to her serving the food, But it seemed to me like that Op was patiently waiting for her to cross her path and the food was a perfect one, The SIL couldnt go preparing a separate pot of Soup for herself since there is food in the House. If the SIL had gone to prepare a new pot of Soup the OP would say she is deliberately wasting their food and gas/electricity. The OP milked that situation well and actually over-milked it which led to this wahala. How many pieces of meat can one person eat? Nigerians? You people can eat up to 6 fist-size pieces of goat meat in one sitting. I've typed all there is to type about the SIL. She needs some sexual healing. Moving on to the Husband. dayokanu: The husband was forced to defend his sister. To the extent of reprimanding his wife in the presence of his sibling(s)? Haba? |
drnoel: Pls take note just so u know how to handle things once u get married. U don't tell ur sister inlaw what she did is idiotic rather u complain 2 ur hubby who should tell her himself. If u tell her directly and she taes u up with her siblings na u lose. Just so u know.Firstly, I'm happily married. Secondly, OP didn't say she told her what she did was "idiotic". I only used the word to emphasize the inappropriateness of the SIL's behavior. |
dayokanu: Its obvious OP was embelishing. No one would come into your house without greeting you unless you have a prior issue. You should learn to read in between the lines. Are you not Nigerian? Havent you heard the familiar "I was just going jejely before John slapped me and tore my clothes" obviously you were not going on your own and a complete stranger slapped youYes, it's obvious they had prior issues. The OP didn't state that, but it's very glaring. I don't know what the issue was and I don't know who was at fault. Those things are not important at this point. Fast forward to when she came into the house. The two are not on talking/good terms. Why would she just dash into the kitchen after the OP is done cooking and start dishing her food? ? ? I ask again, isn't that shameful and impolite? Don't forget that this is the Wife's house and not the SIL's. See what late marriage can cause? Pock-nosing and sniffing around people's pots of soup. Answer to your question; I can't be the SIL. Sorry. Going according to OP's story, I won't be caught dead acting the way the SIL is acting... even if I HATE my brother's wife. |
debby999: This lady has never talked to me since she came into the house.she is type that does my "brother's house I don't send anybody".Big war started the day I finished cooking and was about dishing food this lady went to pot and started taking her own.Dayokanu . . . The SIL is not normal. lol. It's very obvious a guy just broke her heart and she needs sex. OP needs to match-make her arse. You're right. The relationship between her and the OP is obviously not a good one. That itself should caution her on how she acts around the wife. Dayokanu, it's very abnormal for me to go finish your pot of soup while I know we're not on good terms. I'll feel uneasy. Plus, it's plain rude! The wife just had a baby for Jupiter's sake. The SIL is a troublemaker. She is the one blowing things out of proportion and not the OP. Only God knows what she told the husband. She also stopped eating in the house to make it look like OP stabbed her with a sharp knife. Yeye people! |
dayokanu: OP you have a problem with intolerance and thats how a small cut has turned into a huge wound and if you are not careful it would turn to a cancerShe didn't fight her; according to her post. She only called her to tell her what she did was very idiotic. Take a look at Sisi_kill's scenario. What sort of uncivilized behavior is that? The sister in-law didn't necessary have to go her and say "m'aam, I observed that you're done cooking. May I please have a portion of your nicely prepared soup?" The SIL could have gone to the kitchen while OP was cooking and jovially said "Haaaa.. there's no way I'm not finishing that food. Better start preparing another round for your husband and yourself. It smells so good! Chei My brother is lucky". I'm sure the SIL just dashed into the kitchen frowning, with an attitude, and mounted a hip of goat meat on her plate. See ehn, the problem here is not the food. It's common courtesy. The relationship you have with a person determines the kind access you'll have to the person's things. You can't be giving me serious attitude all they long and jump at my food. You no get shame? Which kind shameless behavior be that? Some people need to be put in there place, and apparently the husband is no where near putting his sister(s) in check. |
sweetcocoa: What rubbish?like seriously muki and seun you both need your heads checked on the kinda trash you move to the front page,BULLSHIT OF FIRST CLASS ORDER.What is your business with what makes the front page? Do you own Nairaland? NL is privately owned, remember? The owner(s) have the right to handle the front page the way they want. The topic is BS to you, and it makes sense to others. One man's food is another man's . . . The owner(s) are not here to satisfy you. They are here to make money. If you're not satisfied with the content of the front page, you know what to do. |
^^^^ She looks like she's reading something. Was this written down for her?
Ko ye mi o, aunty Ileke. . . |
shymmex:Is that the sound/voice of almighty iweala? Haba?? ![]() She sounds slow. . extremely Utterly disappointed. |
coogar: male child? molested? i would put an end to the life of the culprit.Coogar, do you think |
coogar: what story is this knucklehead talking about? the one about you born a pikin or how you lost your virginity to your dad in a shed?https://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1tdwb2S2P1qf88uf.gif |
Tayodapo: .....Do you have an idea what happens in Guantanamo Bay (United States of America)? What happens in Guantanamo Bay? Gist me. |
Tayodapo: I am well travelled.....I have been to many European countries and Asian countries ...particularly Malaysia......you will be given a worse treatment than this if you are found to do a thing like this.Olodo ni e. "I yam well traveled." Who gives a flying hoot? Even me that I get all my foreign land gists from DSTV, I know better than you with the hands-on experience. Shameful! Azonto boy, isn't Malaysia a third world? How is it any different from Nigeria? She was in the possession of guns, therefore she deserved the treatment she got. Okay. Bask in your Jungle justice and see where it takes you and your country. |
Image123: Follow follow, you should have followed the thread instead of following 2buff. Ipad, phone, no be same thing. Plus he said many, how many churches have you been to? how does three become many in three months. i mean, follow/read the thread and see the line i towedSharap, Azonto boy!!! Same difference. I've read the thread through, and you need to come out of your zone. Who cares where the passages are being read from? again.. from stones, to scrolls, to papers, to electronics. Deal with it. Sorry to burst your primitive bubble, many preachers now use electronics to preach. |
I'm not surprised at some of the responses here. No be Nigerians? She stole a BB, strip her naked and beat her up. He stole N20, put a tire on his neck and set him on fire. Bunch of wild animals!! . . . and they want change . . . change ko, jara ni. In no developed and humane country would a woman be humiliated the way she's been humiliated. Even if the police caught a criminal red-handed, the highest they do is put handcuffs on them. They don't pepper spray or zap until the "criminal" gets violent. This woman was peaceful. No investigation, no nothing. The goats caught her with guns in her bag of garri and they're threatening to shoot her leg. They even went ahead to slice her arms. What insolence!!! An alleged human eater has been sitting in the prison for 13 years waiting for trial... A woman is been kicked, threatened, and cut by law enforcement agents... What a fantastic judicial system. |
Abi? ... and in the process of defending their religion and trying to win the argument(s), they start hurling insults. |
wesley80: Truth is there prolly was no "fifth columnist MOD".Smart Bloke! |
Seun: Moderators have the power to mail Seun or mukina2 and ask them to please post specific threads to the home page.I already stated that on this thread.
We only move/stick topics, ban users, delete/hide posts, and recommend topics for the front page. After recommending, it's left to seun or Mukina2 to use their discretion.
|
Image123: This must be what oyinbo people call BLATANT LIE. Except i'm misunderstanding you here. Many ke? Many preachers coming to the podium, and they'll say "today's text is taken from abc", and he'll bring out his phone and start to read. That sounds unserious and ridiculous.I've been to three different churches in the period of three months. One is an RCCG church, and the other two are non-Nigerian churches. All the preachers used Ipads "instead" of the "book", and it wasn't distracting, neither was it ridiculous. . . . from stones to scrolls to papers to electronics. Like 2buff said, welcome to the 22nd century. |
afam4eva: So, Seun and Mukina are what?Seun and Mukina2 are the bosses!! We only move/stick topics, ban users, delete/hide posts, and recommend topics for the front page. After recommending, it's left to seun or Mukina2 to use their discretion. Btw, less than 20% of the Home page topics are recommended by mods. |
