warya123: They said she was involved, she traveled to Somalia for training and she led the attack. speculation has been fuelled by the Kenyan foreign minister who has said one of the militants from the Somali-based al-Shabab group was a British woman. |

This lady known as Samantha Lewthwaite a.k.a The White Widow was the wife of one the 7/7 terrorist in the UK. This lady was one of those who led the terror attack in Kenya over the weekend What suck is that no mentioned this lady's involvement but if she was someone from an African descendant or Asian, they would have plastered her picture all over every front page of every tabloid paper, but because she is a British woman no one mentions it. 3 Likes

elektra80: I kind off disagree with the bolded comment you made above, because we have had a number of diesel engine cars beating gasoline or petrol engine cars in motor racing competitions Thats an indication how far the modern technology and powerful diesel engine cars are. For a diesel engine car to win the famous Le Man race that says alot.

I dont live in Nigeria, here in the UK most Nigerians or Afro-Caribbean avoided diesel engine cars because it sounds like a lorry and its not quick of the mark, but about 11 years ago I bought a Peugeot 406 1.9 diesel engine, and drove up to the North (somewhere between Liverpool and Manchester) and back to Kent on one tank of fuel, that was the day kissed good bye to petrol (when in Nigeria its different) I finally sold it to my Polish neighbour who drove the car all the way Poland and back. The only problem with Peugeot diesel engine according to my Mech was the glow plug and changing it! but I didnt experience it when I had the BMW 325TD and the 320D I now have my eyes on the A4 or A6 2 litre diesel engine |

Lamasta: I don't know why some Nigerians hate this First Lady for no concrete reason, but not everybody is fluent in speaking whether First Lady or Last Lady, once You are destined to succed nothing can stop You so RIDE ON Dame whether Nigerians like it or not you will address the WORLD. She has had 3 years to fast track herself by attending an adult education class in either Nigeria or abroad am sorry but she is a public figure. She is prepared spend millions on social events and food but spending money on educating herself seems like a problem |

chronique: I sincerely do not understand Nigerians. Did PEJ ask to be allowed to deliver a speech? She's been asked to deliver a speech by the organisers of the event and this is not a Nigerian event;it's an event organised for first ladies of presidents of the UN. What's the problem with that? If the international community regard her to the extent of asking her to deliver a speech, shouldn't we be excited about that? Yes,her use of English is not the best but that doesn't take away the fact that she's the first lady of Africa's most populous black nation. As far as I'm concerned, the outside world sees something of worth in her. Let's learn to support our own when there's a need to do so. Translation: After all the issues with Syria they needed some comedy and guess what? |

iceblue: No facts were presented and Nigerians have jumped to conclusions. Only in Nigeria do we stone businessmen without hearing all sides of the story, and celebrate criminals who've been caught with their hands in the pot. The other time, the media claimed subsidies paid to oil companies was a 'benefit' rather than a debt from doing legal business. Now, people are jumping hastily again. Spot on 1 Like

Sports / Re: Tokyo Wins Bid To Host 2020 Olympic Games. by babyboy3(m): 9:26am On Sep 10, 2013 |
Symphony007: bear in mind that that was'nt london's initial budget but at the end it skyrocketed to this. The reason why london spent so much despite it's infastructure is because the olympic village was built at the outskirts of london, east london to be particular, a barren land. So it had to be built from scratch and tube lines connected there, it won't be same if manchester hosted because it has no barren lands. The stadium will be built in the city center and new tube lines would not be needed. The budget they presented was plucked out of the air, I think it was £2.4bn, people questioned the figure before they presented the bid, knowing that Athen had a £6bn and Beijin put aside £21bn. The moment people saw the cost of the Stadium thats when they realised that something wasnt right because £245m was the figure they presented for an 80k capacity olympic stadium with the aim to reduce it to 25k after the Olympics. It was one of the reason why they won the bid as well, the cost was almost half of the Paris Bid. |

Egypt knows how to play the home and away ties, they know how to frustrate home teams when playing away, and they know all the ojoro in the book to get a win when playing at home. Firstly the home tie will be on Friday evening. We should avoid Egypt at all cost... Algeria I dont mind (thats if they qualified) 9 Likes |
