Kaysalas: What baffles me is how highly you praise this weak leader whilst still living in an anguishing reality which he masterminded. You're so in love with your oppressor that you don't even want to think there's a better way to exist. You dehumanise yourself by yourself. If you have read the manifesto of APC, you'd know it is a manifesto of activism, activism against itself. I'll be real with you. I don't like that Obi invested state funds in his family's business but he ticks a lot of good boxes for leadership in 2023. He has enough experience, he's physically fit, no health issue whatsoever, he's in an underdog party, his vice is popular for fighting corruption, he is keen on taking Nigeria from consumption to production (as a businessman you have to love the sound of that), but most importantly he's the least corrupt amongst the top 3. I just can't stand the looting by the APC. Authorities say more than $3.3bn (£2.9bn) has been lost to crude oil theft since last year and at a time when other oil producers are having a petrodollars splurge, Nigeria can't even meet its production quota. |

Kaysalas: Engineered Lagos? Go and read your history books and you'll recognise the pattern of oppressive capitalism in Lagos during colonialism and current neocolonialism. This is what drives Lagos' development. How many times will they debunk this Tinubu built Lagos thing? Use only Tinubu's tenure to judge and don't add Fashola or Sanwo Olu's and you'll see that Tinubu did only a fraction like Peter Obi also did only a fraction. Note that these are states that are at different levels of development and economic viability. And if you say Tinubu brought Fashola and Sanwo Olu, well he also brought Buhari so using that is stupidity. I have literally debunked everything you thought great about Tinubu but you have chosen not to act on new information like you didn't pass through evolution. |

theredaddy: The thing about all you these Tinubu supporters is that I'm always constantly needing to educate you all and even after I do, you act ignorant about the new information and stick adamantly to your previous knowledge. These countries literally aid our officials in stealing our commonwealth and if you read the kind of constraints that comes with borrowing loans from them, you'd be shocked. Do we want to talk about the OPPRESSIVE CAPITALISM going on in Nigeria by foreign companies? Most of the banks we use in Nigeria are owned by white men and they charge us insanely for no reason. I can go on... It's funny how you're trying to change the narrative to suit your slave master's inconsistencies. @ the bolded, in white man's democracy, all presidential candidates attend the debates no proxy but your own candidate is not showing up. What does that say about your slave master? Bro that's some bulaba phrase with the vision and television thing in your last paragraph. I don't even understand your point. And if you say Tinubu brought Fashola and Sanwo Olu, well he also brought Buhari... But I bet all these doesn't do anything at all for you. All these facts don't mean a thing. You're still bent on the old slave master. Almost like a reflex action for you. |

theredaddy: You better start using and learning from your own immediate history as an African man. How many times have you been educated not to use countries that impoverishes you every day as yardsticks? I'm not going to vote in the same party and the same age grade that tried to make my life harder. Which kind risk be that? When there are other candidates? Only a fool would do that. |

femisplash: Atleast, Obi talked about it and explained what he did. If them open Tinubu own, e go make this thread reach page 15. I'm not even going to debate Obi or Tinubu corruption because normally, I know all politicians are not clean but if you let the ruling party that threw Nigeria into this mess win again, Tinubu go really know say all of us too mumu. The only reason why you hear about the atrocities in our govt is because the party ruling was changed. We need that to keep Nigeria fairly sane. |
Politics / Re: Bola Tinubu BBC Africa Interview (Full Video) by Babysho(m): 9:18pm On Dec 06, 2022 |
Kaysalas: You're wanting to hire Tinubu for his economic competence just like we hired Buhari for his military competence only for him to throw the country into more insecurity and chaos. Tinubu is gone. I know Tinubu and that is not the Tinubu that "built" Lagos. Don't you learn from history? It's not even history as it is still happening. Bro, if APC comes in again, how are we going to uncover all the atrocities committed in the present administration. Don't you understand the reason for opposition? In fact, anybody supporting Tinubu and APC probably loses memory of their day's events every night they go to bed. Obi gets my vote just by claiming to have good track records like the rest, being younger and being under another party. It's stupid I know but that's how low Nigeria is rn. |
Politics / Re: Bola Tinubu BBC Africa Interview (Full Video) by Babysho(m): 9:04pm On Dec 06, 2022 |
femisplash: You want Nigeria to do well, I get it but Tinubu is not that guy. Peter Obi isn't the ideal guy for me but he is a way better option than Tinubu just by being younger. That's how low Nigeria is rn. If you're not wise enough to recognise this reality, I'm sorry to say but you're a dunce. |

femisplash: Femi calm down lol I didn't even quote you. I'm also a Yoruba man like you and I've grown to love Nigerian people a lot and want all of us to do well. Don't you see Nigeria collapsing because we let a very old man oversee it's affairs for 8 years. Apart from the terrible monetary policies, the lack of supervision/corruption is what is eating up Nigeria gan gan and you want to repeat the same mistake? If you're voting along tribal lines, mo fi olorun be e, DESIST! I've read several books on pan-africanism and always, the answer is UNITY. The reason why we Black Africans are not still living in Upper Egypt enjoying the fruit of our ancestors' labour is disunity. See Peter Obi as your brother. Let's finally move on to the engine that drives developed countries. Let's finally move from unity of language to unity of purpose. The purpose being to stop wasting our commonwealth and build our nation for our enrichment. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Tinubu like 20 years ago would have been a worthy contender but right now, he reminds me too much of my grandpa. My grandpa is 87. TheChameleon: Black man, you share roots with Menes, Athothes, Peribsen, Khasekhem, Imhotep, Zoser, Snefuru, Khufu and other great leaders. Your ancestors discovered literature but you refuse to read. You're so much more than this, African man. You're so powerful and so hardworking. You don't need to settle for less. Read this book, black man and I'll show you more. It'll take you on an ancestral plane by next week.

TheChameleon: I get it. You followed the rules, you went to school like they said you should, you passed through the system, you endured but nothing is forthcoming and now you're tired and this is is how you choose to rebel. I get it. I understand you're angry. Nigeria failed you. It failed us all. You may try to deny it and claim to be doing fine in life but you can do so much more as an African man in the motherland. By supporting Tinubu, you think you're hacking the system, you think you're rebelling but you are not. As an African man, you're much more powerful than this. This is not the way. |

It's better to use Asian countries that know what honest hard-work really means as yardstick or better still read into African history before Europeans invaded us...read about when black Africans had strong leaders in Upper Egypt and use that as a yardstick. |

Why are you the race that is behind in the world when you were formerly the leading race. Seek answers for these questions and then you'll have your compass. Read this book as a start, black man.

Image123: Read books, black man. This conversation you're hoping to have with me is beneath us. Let's talk about how we black Africans have forgotten our history. Let's talk about how we had the strongest kings and queens in upper Egypt and how we now have to settle for weak leaders. Physicality and intellectual capital are important criterias for African leadership. As much as Obi is not the ideal choice, only a caveman will not easily identify him as the best choice amongst those other weak leaders. Read books, black man, so you can understand what it means to be an African leader and stop using European colonial masters compass to navigate the motherland. |
