I think you have approached the argument wrongly. You just said you cannot compare the achievements of Lagos state to that of a a state created in 1996 and then you went on to brag about achievements that is based on how long the state has been created.

The major characteristic we see in Peter Obi is his willingness to work without stealing public funds. That alone is bigger than any Lasgboat or Medical center. The allocation in Anambra cannot be compared to that of Lagos at all so the little he did in Anambra without stealing is good enough!

What we should emphasize is how Tinubu increased his salary by 200% when leaving office and the other corruption related cases surrounding him. Lagos has enough money for one to be corrupt and also build half quality infrastructure.

(3) The elites see that some areas in Nigeria is more picturesque for vacations than anywhere in the world but instead of tackling security, they would rather travel out to Italy. LAZINESS AND GREEDINESS.

(4) The elites in Nigeria are so lazy and full of oppressive spirit that instead of building beautiful road networks and their dream glass homes in villages where there is greenery and canals so they can have privacy, they would rather live where the Europeans did. See millions of "rich men" in Lagos Island traffic everyday. FOOLHARDY, POOR TASTE AND OPPRESSION.

I can go on and on. Everything that is wrong with Nigeria, if you use the elite oppression lens to look at them, you'll see clearly why it is so.

The one thing rich people enjoy exclusively that is in Nigeria/Africa only is UNCHECKED EXPLOITATION. Nobody will bat an eye if you increase the cost of your products. Minimum wage is 30k and internet monthly sub is 40k haba!

Now let me tell you what wealth should give you because apparently you don't know. Wealth should give you PRIVACY and QUALITY. The richer you are, the more privacy you can afford.
Examples;
(1) Expensive restaurants seating arrangement gives privacy and the best chef is quality.
(2) Cars can only seat 5 people unlike public buses. With more money you can afford Bugatti that seats only 2 people. More privacy and quality.
(3) Private schools literally has the word private in it.
(4) Housing in EXCLUSIVE areas. Far from people. Wealthy figures and celebrities in USA build their houses in the middle of nowhere lol. Some even buy private islands.

It's only in Africa that our rich people do the opposite of these things because they're still chained by the spirit of opppresion so instead of replicating enjoyment in Africa, they still have to take it overseas lol! Exploit Africa, Enjoy Overseas...that's the colonization way.

What you guys don't understand is that once a project is been awarded and money paid to the company/contractors same government can't ask for another funding on same project because it has to go to national assembly for another release of funds and it won't happen, national assembly will never approve funding of same project twice for same government no matter how corrupt they are unless it's abandoned and another government is now requesting for funding it to start a fresh, Lagos State government is still the one on the project so how are they now spending more money apart from the money awarded initially .

True but Sanwo Olu stated in the THEMES budget that they've resorted to requesting for private funding for the rail lines. This begs the question, where has all the govt funding been going?

Having private investment in public transport just means me and you will have to pay more to use the service.

One way or another they'll take the additional funding from me and you. If they don't use our tax to pay for the rail through the national assembly, they'll take it from our pockets directly so yeah not so good news.
