domino4211:Me too. I used way too much antibiotics without even using Probiotics. Ordinary malaria makes me faint. And I currently have to use inhalers because I can't breathe properly anymore. Did you find a cure? |
awa:Brother, I was going through the entire thread and I paused at yours. I knew someone out there had to truly understand my pain and you do. I have used everything. Local, Ibile, International you name it. I even went to the best hospital in Lagos. Tests upon test. At this point my sickness has become so severe that I'm having difficulty breathing. Have you found any true cure?? |
Elliot2:Brother. Please what's the name of the leaf? I've tried everything and it's gotten worse that I can't breathe well anymore. Please try to find out for me please my life is at stake. |
Akpacha:How long did she have to take it? |
This is gonna be a tough one. Liverpool have been terrible at away games. Seriously confused as to how Milner is starting this game coming straight from injury and Jones who'd probably still be shaky from last game's mistake. I was hoping Chamberlain would start this game. Thiago is on the bench so good for morale. Also, I honestly like that Wijnaldum's not starting today. I want to see the midfield without his side passes. My prediction Newcastle 1-2 Liverpool |
Whoa. Wow. I'm a big fan. I always looked out for only Pierre Cardin whenever I was shopping for torso clothing. Rest In Peace sir. First pic - my first ever grand dad top still in top quality even after wearing for years. I kept it. Made me love Pierre Cardin. Second pic - one out my many Pierre Cardin work shirts Third pic - One out of my many Pierre Cardin t shirts

Silentgroper:Nope. I said what I said. He's kinda like a raumdeuter like Thomas Muller(only that Muller is more complete) and that's enough technique for me. He's a better player off the ball than on the ball and we needed that. The goal is to create or find space. Football is complicated but I think some should understand me. |
RedBlood01:Haha that's real funny but I'm not really a fan of vying for which team did that or is better etc and I honestly prefer to look at football from a critical view point no matter the top team that's playing. If you feel otherwise about my point on Klopp's tactics, let me know. |
NobleEngineer:Not his fault. This was a match that required technique not pace. Salah, from watching him, I'd say Taki or Shaq have way better technique than he does. Same goes for Mane. Their first touch in small spaces is inconsistent. As bad as Taki is, he'd still have a better performance against a team that packs the bus than they would because he'd be running into spaces atleast creating spaces for other players. |
Haha Liverpool squad is doing just fine in their capacity. I think this time it might be the coach's fault. It's actually funny that Klopp doesn't see the repetitiveness of these events. I thought he had realized where the issue was after that perfect line up last week but I guess not. When teams pack the bus(bottom table teams would always pack the bus), you would always need technical players like Keita, Taki and Shaq. The win would come so easily. It's no surprise we won Palace 7-0 and now struggle against West Brom in our own home. You can squeeze in 1 or 2 playing this rigid run and cross and run and head football but you'd need Kratos level energy to match it lmao hence the drop in tempo second half. This isn't a game for Salah or Mane and their bad ball control and touches especially this game where there's little space to function, You'd only make them look bad. Only technique and ball control can help us out. IT IS ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE THIS FLUID SYSTEM OF TECHNIQUE GOING THAT YOU CAN BRING ON SALAH OR MANE LATER ON, THEY WOULD AUTOMATICALLY FOLLOW THE FLOW. INFACT, THEY WOULD HAVE LESS PLAYERS ON THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PULLING THE STRINGS AND THAT'S WHEN THEY CAN FUNCTION WITH SPACE. Seems far-fetched..maybe... maybe not but I have done the math and it checks out. |
Reference:I absolutely love this insight. I said something similar when I related Nigerians and the Marina dilemma to that of zombies roaming New York city aimlessly after the apocalypse. Everything is there for the use but they want something else; blood (oil) |
Aconomist:This thread is very, very important. It is important in the sense that it is a physical representation of how rich but dilapidated our dear country is. Everything we need is right in our hands but up two threads of your thread, one brother is saying he'd rather die in Dubai than continue living in Nigeria. Those Marina buildings stopped functioning when Nigeria itself stopped functioning. We're like zombies in New York walking aimlessly, unproductively after the apocalypse. Everything is there but they're not useful to us because in those buildings, it's about hard work not easy oil or govt money. Economics tells us about factors of production ; Labour, Land, Capital, Entrepreneurs... - we have them all in multiple folds that we even gift to other countries. What Economics forgot is that to control these factors, you need A LEADER. We have none. No leader in the public sector, no leader in private sector. |
fourboys:And what's your definition of "true football fans"?? Origi is a fine player but honestly not on the level of Bobby wym? Brazil cannot go to WC without Bobby. Belgium will rather take a worn out Benteke than Origi. "True football fans" ought to know that Bobby's role in Liverpool is something special. |
zeestone99:Van Djik will soon be back. He has started using social media again so it definitely means he's back at Liverpool. I'm guessing we'll see him back in training in like 7 weeks. |
Bloomblue:How much is it? |
Sunsets:Thank you ![]() |
sholay2011:It is |
blacknp:What are they teaching our kids in school? Which hole did you crawl out from? I was hoping people who quote me would be one step ahead of me with other views that they think will ease this movement for the freedom of the people not this. Ever heard of Vice President? |
sholay2011:Iru Eshin kor Iru Alangba ni lmao Thanks! I'll add the french film to my watchlist. Yes Parasite is an amazing film! Deserves the awards it won. You should watch Barfi you might like it. It's the only Indian movie I recommend that I can genuinely say that it's so good. |
Mirror97:You have great taste in movies. Manchester By Sea is one of my favorite movies |
sholay2011:The only relatable post on here. I saw people mentioning Passion Of The Christ and Yoruba films lmao I love Silver Linings Playbook and The Favourite. Two movies that made me cry like a baby are A Walk To Remember and Barfi. It's really about the soundtracks..if it gets me I'll definitely cry. |

Pana was released in 2016 now has 141 million views and it just might hit 200 million views at the end of 2021. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YhAFBOSk1U 3. Burna Boy - On The Low - 167 million views Burna Boy aka Don Gorgon aka African Giant makes his second appearance on the list with his hit single On The Low which made waves all over the world. This banger is expected to hit 200 million views early 2021. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecl8Aod0Tl0 1. Davido - Fall - 187 million views Davido aka O.B.O who claimed he's the biggest in Africa and instructed us to check the numbers really does have the numbers as his hit song Fall grabs the number one spot with a massive 187 million views. Fall was released 3 years ago and is very likely to hit the 200 million views mark before the end of 2020. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Iyuym-Gci0 P.S. I think the main reason some big artistes like Wizkid and 2face cannot garner proper views on videos is because of poor YouTube channel management. No specific channel was verifiable to their name so there's usually issues of scattered views and that's loss of money. I think most are managing better now though as Wizkid's Fever hit 64m views in 2 years. I'm saying this so maybe upcoming artistes on here will know to verify their channels/handles with one particular name. Nobody knows tomorrow.. Thank You! And let me know what you think about the list.

These are great puns haha. When Nairaland used to be so good. Nairaland really peaked in 2015 tbh. So far in all my life, the best pun I ever heard came from Vector. He said " It's heavy in the chest, I thought you wanted treasure" |
PhiliptheArab:Just because he didn't step out of Spain doesn't reduce his quality as a player honestly. Y'all would easily make that argument about Messi but when it's time for best defender, Sergio Ramos who played all his life at Madrid, y'all would keep quiet. |
I love this thread. I absolutely love this thread because it shows the body language of Nigerians as a whole. I was confused when I heard that the Nigerian youths were trooping out en masse to end SARS. For the very first time in a long time, Nigerian youths were woke only to say they want to end SARS when there are more troubling issues that needs ending. During the protest, I'd hear the speakers at the protest shout on top of their voices "We don't want to end bad government, we don't want to fix our bad roads or hunger problems, just endsars!" And a loud roar of agreement will come after from the crowd. I couldn't believe my eyes. Majority of Nigerians are still in love with their oppressors!! Some say End SARS is important because it's a matter of life and I keep saying what has the SARS ever done to you that your government hasn't done 200X? You said it's one Nigeria but your brothers and sisters in the north have been slaughtered year in year out in the hands of BH and y'all didn't come out once! So many videos of actual geniuses making planes and sophisticated architectural designs out of cardboard but they remain the same y'all didn't come out! Right before our eyes the prices of food rose highly and nobody said a thing! The actual first set of agitators of the protest way before Falz or even Sowore were only looking out for themselves and they are actually yahoo boys. They don't really care about the country's welfare. They just wanted a safe space to continue their vices. It all makes sense now. The reason everyone brings out their guns immediately they hear anything Sowore because he represents a new type of Nigerian. His intolerance for bad governance is the strongest in Nigeria and many people don't understand why so, they are afraid of what they don't understand. He's fighting your oppressors and you people being oppressed are fighting him. Gargantuan Nonsense. |
Wonderful! Time for them to join the working class and input zero to our nation. |
bamvik:Haha don't look at it that way. They're overhyped but doesn't deny the fact that Nigeria has talented footballers BUT don't forget during the time of slavery, it was recorded that Africa and Nigeria lost it's most talented, strongest and wisest men to the whites. Our best footballers were killed while the few Nigerians that escaped are denying their nationality overseas claiming European nationality. Eg David Alaba great defender. Ogbonna of Westham, Carl Ikeme great goalkeeper, Agbonlahor striker and many more. The current super eagles squad are 2nd hand humans. They don't know how to fight for themselves that's why they let Sierra Leone score the 4th. Also, we use to have a good system that brought actual footballers like Okocha to limelight but now because we have structural problems, the wrong persons are chosen as footballers. I know many guys in my street that dribble better than Messi but they're doing conductor work. |
PDJT:Very shallow-minded, you are. |
tojahh:Who told you I'm not outside?? |
I listened to Tunde Ednut's little interview with Omoyele Sowere and Sowore mentioned something that shook me. He said the reason for revolution that took place in France, 1798, was as simple as the increase in the price of bread. This got me thinking. Initially, I felt Nigerians just wanted to endsars simply because they didn't like being harassed on road and couldn't see the bigger picture that the government was the one behind the unhygienic situation of affairs in Nigeria, that they were channeling their anger wrongly. After listening to Sowore who said the French Revolution went from 'increase price of bread' to 'we want the heads of our misleaders', I was convinced that this endsars protest could lead to something even greater. I was expecting to hear more of #presidentstepdown by now but we shall see. |
adg98:That's a cliché right there. Men too can cheat and give their heart just as much as women can especially in 2020. |
